The Quest for "ZOMGHESOHOT" Foxiliciousness

HE TOUCHED ME.



That's really pretty much what I could remember from the two minutes we saw of his Holyhotness...besides him looking really tired and grumpy.

The quest of Wags and Squiddy actually started the night before, when we hung out, had dinner, and watched HAPPY FEET (great movie, totally recommended it). I parked my car overnight at the mall's parking lot near by because I'm from the 'burbs and I was afraid my baby would be scratched/bumped/stolen in the ghe-tto.

Our day of the quest started at 6 AM. We got ready and headed to NYC. After a ride on the infamous NYC subway and a short walk, we've reached our destination in one piece..well two pieces, Squid and I. When we got there, Kelly Ripa just pulled into the garage and the professional autograph-seekers tried to reach her but could. "That's bull...", they said.

OK O_o

We stood around and waited...and waited, and waited. Squid and I were talking about what we could yell out at him. I suggested "It's purgatory!!!" We waited for about an hour and he finally showed up! Unlike Ripa, he did not get off inside the garage but rater about 15 feet away. All the pro stalkers rushed over, and I was fumbling to pull our magazines, cameras and what not while running over with Squid.

Up close, Matt look really tired and grumpy. However, he was very patient and signed many autographs, including my EW magazine (the one with him and Evie on the cover from 2004) and the screencap printout of LM/LF in Squiddy's hand. He's really tall in person and much grayer than I thought. He's also quite thin and just grumpy looking. Needless to say, yelling "It's purgatory!!" might actually push him over the edge so I held my tongue...however it didn't come in the way of me drooling

After about 2 minutes he started to walk toward the garage entrance where they enter the studio. I didn't have a chance to take a picture with him so I yelled out "Matt, a picture please?" and he actually tuuuuurrrrrrrrnnnnned around He put his hand on my back *fangirlsqueeethud* and Squiddy snapped THE pic of my life

Matt then got quickly ushered into the garage, while yours truly, Wags...sent him off by staring at his sexy petoot...

I didn't get to cling to his leg or yell something silly at him, but he touched me, and I get to look at him (and his petoot) up close and personal. Tis a very nice Foxilicious day in NYC indeed

A Squid's Story:

Wagsy came over my house around 6 the night before and we grabbed dinner and a movie with my Husband. He loved hanging out with two hot chicks. Our Triangle is the OTT. We saw "Happy Feet" and it was awesome. I recommend it. Afterwards we spent some time goofing around with my webcam and watching Giant Squid documentaries on the Discovery Channel.

We got up today at 6:15am and got ready and left. We made it up there around 8:15am. I was surprised to only find the regular professional autograph seeker people and not more fans. When I saw Terry there there were a bunch of people there for him. Maybe it's a school thing.



As soon as we got there Kelly Ripa came in. She gets to work 45 minutes before the show starts? Is she still doing twelve shows and raising 35 kids? I decided I don't care that much. Anyway we waited about 40 minutes or so watching the various car block the street and attempt to parellel park.

Eagle Eye Wags noticed first that instead of pulling into the garage like everyone else I had ever seen there do he (by "he" I mean his driver) parked a little ways down the street causing a bit of a rush to him since he had to walk a ways to get into the studio.



I wish I could say he was a happy guy but he kinda looked like death. He signed everything and posed for pictures which was great for him to do since he had handlers screaming at him to get to the studio. Luckily there weren't too many people.





He was walking away when I pressed Wags to ask him to pose for one final picture. Which he did.



He didn't say a word the whole time and he really seemed to be tired but it was great for him to pose and sign for us. Wagsy has the signed things so no scans.

Overall I'd say Operation Stalk Foxy was a success.





Mission accomplished.

Weeeeeeee! Thanks for the report you guys! Wow, Foxy is being quite the Grumpy Gus. He looks like he got hit by a truck in his 2 interviews this morning. I guess when you are that tired you just can't fake it. I hope yon't take it personally because I just finsihed reading several interviews/stories from this past weekend that commented on how tired he looks.

But I'm so glad you guys got to see him and get pictures and stuff signed! Big fun!

Oh never! He's human, and I'll never blame him for acting like one He was very patient even though he didn't look well, so kudos to the big guy

A slight hint of tobacco is what I got through all that crazy funky smell on the streets of NYC.
