Ok...So I really had to share this with pepole who might actually care. I noticed that Josh Holloway was in a show called The Lyon's Den (one episode) and so I tried to youtube it. There is a clip, but it's in french, so I have no clue what they actually said...BUT! Josh Holloway's character's name was Lana's Lover or something like that. So I'm watching this scene and when the woman came into the scene I gasped really loud because I went "OMG is that Kate's mom?" and it totally was! I thought that was absolutely hilarious. The same actress who played Kate's mom on Lost was Josh Holloway's love interest. I think he was only in one scene, but it still makes me giggle.

Yeah, I saw that a while ago on FF. One of the girls who posts on Josh's board (Fran/Hawthorn) saw the episode and made some gifs:

Hah. It's so weird! It's a little gross, but not really because he's 10 years older than Evi and 10 years younger than Beth Broderick (Kate's mom) that's a little odd. I love it though. I think it's funny that Sawyer and Kate's mom have met briefly. I think she calls him sweetie or something too. I want to see that scene in english because I can only find it in french.

What, no comments on the fact that in a 15 sec first S6 promo that basically consisted of main character´s faces, Kate and Sawyer got to be seen in The Cage Scene? I had to come over here, the Jate/Suliet uproar was so loud on DarkUfo...

Yeah....I saw this. I love how people are saying "Why are they showing this scene, it's not significant."

It's always always been a significant scene and I have a feeling it's major foreshadowing...they didn't show any of the Jate "lovey" scenes...just Jack acting like Locke.

Fortunately for us, the storytellers get to decide what's significant in their story.

LMAO at how some in the audience have so easily written off 5...count 'em 5...seasons of Skate. Even in the S5 finale, both Juliet and Jack decided they needed to erase everything as of the crash because OF Skate. Juliet believes Sawyer loves Kate, and Jack believes Kate wants Sawyer, or at the very least, Jack believes Kate doesn't want Jack. So even the characters get the significance of Skate.

And -- I believe if Kate is pregnant, it's VERY significant to remind this audience when/with whom Kate had sex.

I think that if Kate is pregnant it will be incredibly interesting to see when they land in time. Part of me actually thinks that they're going to land back in the time when they got captured (the first time the sky ever lit up) and if that is what happens...Kate could totally be pregnant with Sawyer's baby. I just can't flipping wait! It's so close yet so far away.

I haven't been here in a long time. How are you all?

I saw the promo, I was so excited to see skate sex, i was like omg, they decided to show one of the hottest scenes ever, it has to mean something! I'm more convinced now that i've had time to think, Jack won't end up with Kate, i think when they did that lame episode with the chinese girl it meant he will be always alone, his purpose is to "help others". I think him and Kate will remain very good friends and Kate will be finally with Sawye!!

I'm very optimistic today

Katie, I'm still speculating with the utmost confidence that our Kate is most definitely pregnant with Sawyer's child.

That's my conclusion after watching the series over and over again and it's my conclusion after following so many clues. It makes so much sense and explains so much. I honestly can't see how it won't happen. (Well, I can actually. But that would mean "Kate" is a character played an actress, who is played by Evi.

It was 2007 when Kate and Sawyer had sex in the cages and sex at the beach camp. Kate was "rescued" on January 8, 2008 -- 1/08. It has NOT been three years since the "rescue," IMO. It's all in the details, just like Sawyer said. If you go back and re-watch the episode where Sawyer plays the audio tape of Juliet and Ben, listen to what day of the week Juliet says it is. And then think about the timeline and pull out a calendar and you'll realize it's 2007 and not 2004. And I can't tell you how many clues there've been to the number "7" in this series. Lots.

Personally, as for The End- I think Jack is going to have a big heroic rescue that involves him dying. It's long been foreshadowed that Jack is the hero, that he'll end up alone, that he'll sacrifice himself. I also am sure that Kate and Sawyer will end up together.

i'm with you zoe on this one.i also think that it's jack who bites it in the end!jack has to do some kind of sacrafice to show his heroic side, imo, jack was always meant to end up alone.he's almost like locke.& i'm not at all worried about kate being sad about it, as long as she has sawyer by her side.i'm pretty sure kate will try to stop him, becuz, whether we like it or not she does love jack, but she's never been in love with the guy.it has always been known to the viewers or at least to the skaters where kate's heart lies.all kate needs to do before jack sacrafices himself is let it be known that it's sawyer who as her heart & always will have her heart!like evi said at one time.it's like a puzzle, in the end everything will come together.why they were all chosen, the purpose they were on the island, what the island is & etc...but i f were gonna talk about true epic love, it's always been skate.you need a love that balances eachother out & that is why jack and kate never worked.becuz, jack was always over weighing kate on the scale.imo sawyer and kate are eachothers salvation!in the end they will finally be together!

Yeah...I really don't have any doubt in my mind that Kate will end up with Sawyer. I do think that Jack will die, but I do hope that the writers make it clear to everyone who Kate's choice is before that happens. Even though we as Skaters believe her first choice has always been Sawyer, it needs to be completely 100% known that Sawyer is her choice before Jack dies.

I predict that you and I will be dancing bananas...at a baby shower for Kate.

I think it's been foreshadowed that Jack is NOT really a hero, and that if he sacrifices himself, it'll be to ease his own pain. We all heard his reason for detonating the bomb. That wasn't heroic; it was selfish, IMO. Jack is a narcissist, and I predict he'll keep on keepin' on that way until the very end.

And regarding Kate's choice -- again, I say Kate made her choice back in S3. The writers wrote for Skate prior to that choice, and they've continued to write toward Skate since that choice. So I expect the writers to do more of the same next season. It's the best the writers CAN do, and if that's not enough for this audience, then I say this audience can buy the series on DVD afterwards and work it all out for themselves.
