I don't really want to see this movie. Don't get me wrong - the idea of a dancing Naveen is a great one! But I most want to see the movie Easy!

I don't want to see Easy just because it's R (I know I'm of age and can see R but I just don't care for them too often. HIghlander and Matrix were the last ones) and has sex in it. Sorry, I just don't wanna see people gettin' it on ....

I'm looking forward to see it... and now that I know that he is in it I'm looking froward to it even more! :) I hope it will be funny! I'm such a big fan of Jane Austen! He will play Bingley... I can't stop laughing thinking about it! ;)

I just saw an ad for this (okay, so I watched the ad on my computer about twenty times... I need a life. LOL) and it looks like *so* much fun!!

If it doesn't come to our theater, my fiance is going to drive me an hour away to a bigger town that might get it. He just doesn't know it yet. ;)

I'm sure it's not going to be the best piece of cinematic art you've ever seen. Bollywood-esque movies tend to be a little tacky/gaudy by design and are an aquired taste. Does anyone have any idea where I could see/buy this movie? I really want to see B&P and I'm reading Austen just for it! Also Martin Henderson from the Ring is in it, and he's another cutie.

Amazon.com com says it's scheduled for limited release on February 11, 2005.

I just watched Bride & Prejudice yesterday and I have to say it was much better then I expected and Naveen was really charming in it. My husband also enjoyed the movie and he's not one to watch romances. The movie has been out in London (to mixed reviews) already and in India (in Hindi). It officially comes out in the USA today in limited release. Entertainment Weekly gave the moview an A- rating.

Naveen looks really really really good from what I've seen (the previews)... I'm really not a fan of Aishwarya Rai though, but I still wanna see it. The dancing scene looks really fun. (I love Bollywoood)!

I just came back from watching Bride and Prejudice!! It's really good, a musical and lots of fun! Naveen Andrews looks real good, but not as good as he looks as Sayid I have to say! Looks sooo different all clean shaven haha!! And the english accent, which is his own, is weird after hearing him for soo long as Sayid!

It's a pretty good movie, it's funny! With some gorgeous indian actresses!

Yeah, I watched the movie in poor quality and it's very nice, Bollywood movies are always very nice!! I'm hoping that the movie will be released here in dvd, 'cause it was released in march 14 in US, so, maybe in a few months...
I'll wait a little more, before buying it by amazon.com!

I was watching the DVD and on the commentary the director says naveen didn't think he could do the dance scenes and they should get a stand-in. Guess he was able to do it after all!

Has anyone seen any information on why Naveen was picked for this movie in the first place? It's not the sort of thing he's done before, he's not a dancer, and when the movie was cast he hadn't become Lost-famous yet. So why cast him? (not that I'm complaining, you understand) There's got to be some connection I'm missing.
