When Jack went over to his fathers house to look for those documents did anyone notice the Dharma Staff logo???

You've gotten the reference backwards. It's not the Dharma symbol for The Staff station that found its way to the cover of a medical book....

That's the symbol all of the medical profession uses, and Dharma incorporated it into the logo for The Staff BECAUSE it was a medical station.
