sorry if there is somewhere else another thread like that,but i think we should create a thread about this eurovision.which songs you like this year?from those i have heard,i really like the songs of greece and azerbaijan!turkey,uk and france have good songs too.

So, the first semi final is today. Who do you think will pass? I'm pretty sure about Turkey but i don't know about the rest of the songs.

don't say that about uk. i think you have a very good song,a wonderful voice and of course an amazing composer this year.i do not know about the first place but uk deserves being in the top 5 this time!
about the first semi-final i think turkey and malta will pass,but the second semi-final has better songs.

Sweden had quite an impressive singer. I didn't find any of the songs really my favorite, but I've only heard them once. I like seeing Finland in the finals, but I doubt they'll have great success this year.

I LOOOOVED Norway and i loved it even more that he won because everyone here in Greece was bashing him and saying he would never win. I think we were the only country to bash our opponents so harshly, mostly the reporters on the news. The guy had a nice enough voice, was cute, nice and with a great song that gave me and i guess many other people goosebumps. But i guess that's a good enough reason to hate him:rolleyes:

I think that ^ sums it up. I seriously cannot even remember the song, let alone like it so much to vote it.And ok, it wasn't horrible, it was nice enough, but there were so many better songs that it's just...unfair. UK was waaaay better than it, as was Estonia, Croatia, even Cyprus was better. I will never understand this:no:

Well done for UK:w00t: It wasn't THAT good to win, but it was better than most of the other songs (better than Iceland, that's for sure:shifty:)

Spain was a surprise. I thought it was gonna do better:shrug:

I don't know why, but i kind of liked Russia's song as well. It was a bit disturbing at times, but the chorus gave me chills.:cool:

Sakis...oh Sakis...You were awesome but duuuude, the song sucked. You got extra points when you ripped your shirt a little bit, but you would have to take off all your clothes to win this one. It's ok, we love you anyway:p

I didn't get to see the actual finale, but I watched the voting. I think I'll have to look at the songs on youtube, from what I could see in the recaps, some of them were pretty cool.

Okay, I watched the esc with my friend and we didn't like the winner song at all :rolleyes: Over here we call such boys "milkboys" :giggle: We wanted Portugal, Malta, Iceland, Moldova or Sweden to win! But weeell, Malta even got less points than our country which surprised us! :shock:

But seriously, Spain and Greece :rotflol: I don't want to sound rude but that guy from Greece :giggle: our commentator kept saying that his t-shirt was way too short :giggle: These songs were just too "boybandish" for us.

So overall I must say that I am not pleased with the result, but that's just my opinion anyway!

why do you find the guy from Greece so funny?
personally,i do not like the song of Norway at all.i like the violin, but the whole song is boring.i adore the song from Azerbaijan and i believe that Arash showed us how talented he is.
i can't believe that Iceland came second!the girl is sweet and with a good voice,but the song is nothing special.
the songs of Turkey and Armenia were very good and i also liked a lot the amazing ballads of England,Estonia and France.
Anyway,my favourite was Azerbaijan but i also love the song of Greece and Ukraine.About Greece-ok, the seventh place is very good, but i believe that he deserved being in the top 5.it was spectacular and Sakis was so talented!the song was not the best though.concerning Ukraine, i did not like the dancers,but Svetlana is talented and the song had a nice melody.it should have been in the top 10

Norway won, cant believe it! For a couple of years ago it would have been impossible for us to win because political voting. But after Lordi won for Finland a couple of years ago its been much better. I mean, Norway won with over 300 points - NEVER have that happen in history! This meaning that Europe is overall loving the song!

The greek song is very good when you listen to the recorded version, but in the final you could hardly hear his voice, only his backupsinger. And what the fuck, white pants and a white short t-shirt? eww.thats so 90's and lame! He needs a serious makeover!
