Okay Jana shipper coming through. Well actually I am gradually becoming more of a Sana shipper to, some of you here are both to. I have always liked Ana & Sawyer but now that Sawyer is becoming his bad ass self again, I am starting to ship both Jana & Sana & I am liking Ana & Sawyer more. I like Sawyer the more bad he is :p.

Ana con Sawyer? I would love to see that. But I still want them to like each other even if its just a little but. That would be cool to see though.

I wanted him and Ana to hookup b/c of the superficial part of me that thought a JH/MR love scene would be the hottest freaking thing on pimetime, BUT after Wednesday's ep....she doesn't need to go near him till he starts redemption. The last thing the character needs is to be associated with that. :D

You're right. Sawyer/Ana might be too hot for tv, but hey... we'll let our imaginations fill in the blanks. However, I don't agree that she needs to stay away from Sawyer. If anyone can smack the silly out of Sawyer, that's our girl Ana. Is it too much to hope for or does anyone else think they're setting it up that way? Why else would they include their scene in the Addicted to Lost ad? And not just any scene, but one where they're "verbally copulating", to borrow a phrase from my other ship. (DISCLAIMER: Yes, I am a Jack/Kate shipper. They're my shmoopy OTP and I adore them both. No, I don't ship Sawyer/Ana to get them out of the way. If anyting, these days I'm a lot more excited about these two hooking up, so much so that I'm starting to think I want Kate out of *their* way. Also, I love both Kate and Ana. And Sawyer and Jack. I can't help it. I even loved Shannon in full b*tch mode. I guess I'm easy. :p )

Makes ya wonder what the hustlers got in store for Ana, since her stomping exercise a while ago.

Felt sorry for Kate -dodges the spit balls- I did! Being made a right fool of, betrayed such as she was.. is the worst. Mind you she set the thing in motion by letting her jealously of Ana come to the fore. Sun was target, and Jin is the one who dragged his sorry behind to safety, thank you very much! Made ya hate Sawyer for it. But the best and worst line of the whole transcript was by Saw-bucks.

And after what he did in this episode, the tragedy is.. we finally begin to believe, he could be right.

Right, Jack had no qualms about asking Ana where she had been on the morning of Sun's attempted abduction *spits on Charlie for giving Brits a bad name*, right? Consider. What if the first interaction between Sawyer and Ana is not all "ARGH" and nasty, (bear with me ;)), what if Jack notices the banter, the spark of SOMETHING there, (like we all have) and what if HE asks Ana to get the guns from Sawyer one way or the other. Perhaps he'll ask Kate to try first but like hell Sawyer's gonna fall for THAT one! So Ana would be the next one in line, or the first depending on how devious Jack is thinking that day. ;) Hey it could even be Locke or Kate who put the idea into Jack's head again. I wouldn't put it past Kate to notice the first interaction between Sana and to get all jealouse like she did with Jana. And she has a tendency to want to throw a spanner in the works. :rolleyes: Of course Jack knows Ana is/was a cop and is going to come to the conclusion that she's trained to deal with the likes of Conmen etc like Old Sawbucks. If anyone can get them weapons from Sawyer it will be her. :)

And that's how I can imagine it going. Ana will try to either cosy up to him or something (though I'm not sure if she would use those tactics. She knows Sawyer is good at his job and he'll probably expect something along those lines). Maybe she'll play the "Everyone hates you coz you did a bad thing? Join the club" card to spark camaraderie. But either way, I have a feeling she's going to start out trying to take him down and then end up feeling a bit differently. :D

Alas, that may just be my wishful thinking. ;)

Hmm... yeah im wondering on this whole J/A/S triangle thing, firstly because of MR's legal status right now, but also because it seems the show is taking Jack/Ana's relationship ALOT less seriously, almost non-existent.

Which concerns me for Sana. Back in WKD or Collision, they made Jana seem like somthing big was about to happen between the two of them. But after F+W and TLC, it looks like they are playing down the romance ALOT.

The "You hittin that?" and the fact that Jack wouldnt even slow down to talk to Ana was strange. I mean, either its a build up for why Ana wont want to get involved with Jack, or its a sign that they might indeed kill her off. And i really dont want that to happen. Her character has to much potential.

Its actually making me worry a little about it, I'm just getting the feeling that they are trying to lessen her character, which isnt a good sign...

J.J. Abrams, co-creator of ABC's hit SF series Lost, denied to SCI FI Wire that producers were planning to kill off any characters because of an actor's off-screen behavior. In an interview at WonderCon in San Francisco on Feb. 11, Abrams specifically denied rumors that the character of Ana Lucia would die as a result of actress Michelle Rodriguez's recent highly public run-ins with the police.

"While we don't want to report on the fate of any of the characters in the show, I would say without question that any reports that anything that's going on with any of the actors as being problematic or certainly resulting in changing the storyline to sort of you know get rid of them is just erroneous and silliness," Abrams said.

Rodriguez grabbed headlines in December, when she was arrested in Hawaii for drunk driving. Rodriguez, 27, is scheduled to stand trial March 30 after pleading not guilty. She was also cited for speeding in Hawaii three times last year. Lost shoots in Hawaii.

As to the whole Ana/Jack-ness, I think that perhaps they will start to heat that up a little soon. Kate was the one who put the seed of doubt in Jack's mind so he's going to have to apologise to Ana at some point, because, let's face it, Jack is somewhat of a gentleman when it comes to the ladies. ;) He has morals. And now they have Sawyer to watch out for as well as the Others. A threat from them and someone inside their own number draws people together. Ana is one of the few people Jack is able to trust (despite the Kate thing, but following that I think he will trust Ana even more, especially over Little Miss Green Eyed Monster :rolleyes:)

And...you know that Jana now means Sana later! ;) :boogie:

Anyway, Nokoolaidforme....I totally agree....I have/had this worry/fear that the producers are too scared and I truly believe that they already dramatically held back on featuring this character b/c MR's furture is so up in the air....I really think that had the DUI bit not happened, she would have been MUCH more prominantly featured these last few eps than she has been. She was initially being set up to be a lead character along the lines of Jack, Locke, Kate, Sawyer, etc....now she's barely featured anymore than Charlie and Claire and such....which worries me. They're playing it safe. Think about this:

- The producers said the J/A/S triangle would play out over the next ten eps. Well, that was back at 2x09....so, we're already half way through though ten eps and Jack and Ana have stalled completely and Sawyer and Ana haven't said a single word to eachother since returning to that side of the island....*biting nails*

As to the lack of shippiness...maybe they're giving it a slow start to hit us with an explosion of it later on... :)

I guess you could see the jealousy of Kate, Jack's shunning of Kate and then doubt of Ana and the sudden digression of Skate as the starts of the trapezoid. :D

Unfortunately I don't see that happening, b/c spoilers suggest that Kate goes off with Claire and Rosseau to find out about her past kidnapping. Why the flying flipping hell Kate is going, I'll never know.
This is exactly the kind of scenes/opportunity I wanted for Ana, to interact with others on a deeper/intrapersonal level, not just the casual mean or flirty quick conversation. She needs to be more involved with other people and story developements period. Add to that the need for us fans to see her shipped with SOMEONE....or like Yariene said, ANYONE.

About the spoilers, I know....but it's likely to be highly dangerous...and Claire and Kate? Um, no. Rosseau is pretty kick ass, but still....I'm just thinking from a protective standpoint only. :)

And, I totally agree....one of the reasons I'm still pissed at MR a bit...b/c had that not happened I'd bet a lot of money of the fact that she'd have been in these last eps a LOT more, and by now she and Jack would have at least almost kissed and she and Sawyer would have had more angry flirtations. They are scared....they don't want her and Jack or her and Sawyer to sleep together near the end of the season, then MR get carted off to jail and they have to abruptly write her off of the damn show....they'd be royally screwed. So, us Ana fans are therefore screwed now, getting far less Ana that we rightfully should be getting....getting delayed ships, and likely facing the possibility of never getting answers about this woman's past and future that otherwise would have been amazingly enthraling.

I'm so back and forth. One moment I'm giving the producers the benefit of the doubt and trying to assume she'll have a quick unexpected hookup really soon and we'll get an Ana flashback somewhere between 2x16 and 2x22. But then the next day I'm worried she'll go to jail and lose her job on Lost and we'll never have answers about her, we'll never see her onscreen with Matt or Sawyer in a relationship-ish way, and MR's career and personal life will take SUCH a huge blow. Then I start freaking out about the idea of her as a just a regular person going to JAIL. Then the next day I'm back to being Little Miss Positive. I guess what I wish we could get from the producers is either:

A. "We've adjusted the storylines b/c of everything, and your seeing things differently than we originally planned b/c we had to compensate in case something did happen to MR."

or

B. "We haven't altered the storylines at all from their original direction. We're sticking with the plan until something forces us to deviate."

If I knew one way or the other I think I'd at least feel a little better so I could mourn what could have been and just try to enjoy the crap that is. *sigh*

Totally true....she could get 3 days in jail for the Hawaii thing and LA could have major mercy/she works a deal and gets no more than a couple of weeks to a month (I pray to God not even that long, though) and so at season's end she does her short time then goes on her hiatus then comes back ready and totally open for Season 3. And after that she totally much more used and such. Now THAT would be the ideal outcome. :)

I'm not pessamistic but I have background in that stuff so I'm not worried yet. I just hope she has a decent lawyer and he is working a deal. Think of it this way. The LA pros could have had her locked up until it was determined that she violated her probation, in most state, they have a right to do that. Since they didn't hey. That's a positive.

Also in the news they said that the jails in cali are filled to the brim (probably place every nonviolent offender into the jailhouse instead of using alternative methods). It just may work out to her advantage.

But the big positive is that the cast and producers are behind her. There seems to be a united front supporting her in the situation. She screwed up, they probably gave her an ear full and I'm willing to bet she has apologized to them for it. However, it sounds to me like they want her the show regardless of the outcome of her trial. At the moment I'm positive.

Back OT: Regardless of the outcome they can still put in some more Jana or start Sana. It's not like the show is going to end this year. They could have it set up as an continuing arc into next season. Personally I think the tailes need more air time but only because I'm more invested in them than the others. it doesn't have to be long dialogues, small talk and gestures. SOMETHING!!!!

J.J. Abrams, co-creator of ABC's hit SF series Lost, denied to SCI FI Wire that producers were planning to kill off any characters because of an actor's off-screen behavior. In an interview at WonderCon in San Francisco on Feb. 11, Abrams specifically denied rumors that the character of Ana Lucia would die as a result of actress Michelle Rodriguez's recent highly public run-ins with the police.




"While we don't want to report on the fate of any of the characters in the show, I would say without question that any reports that anything that's going on with any of the actors as being problematic or certainly resulting in changing the storyline to sort of you know get rid of them is just erroneous and silliness," Abrams said.

Rodriguez grabbed headlines in December, when she was arrested in Hawaii for drunk driving. Rodriguez, 27, is scheduled to stand trial March 30 after pleading not guilty. She was also cited for speeding in Hawaii three times last year. Lost shoots in Hawaii.

Abrams, who was at WonderCon to promote his upcoming Mission: Impossible III, added: "There's a lot of stuff that has happened that's extracurricular, and it's in the news. It becomes fodder for speculation. The truth is that the cast is the greatest. I don't know if you saw the SAG Awards, but ... most of them, those who weren't working, were there and got up. ... You see who they are and how they are. They're an amazing group, all of them, and we're just blessed to get to work with them."

Okay, I was doing a bit of research into dreams and their meanings for my current fic a while ago, right? (You remember Ana's weird conversation with Phantom-Sawyer? So, okay, it's not really a dream but that's what I based my ideas on. :rolleyes: ) I was re-reading through the notes I made to see if I could salvage any of the stuff I hadn't used and I came across this little nugget of info which I had forgotten about entirely. I thought I'd post it because, if my theory and the dream meanings are correct, it bodes very well for Sana. :D (Not that the tPtB are using my dreams book to write the storyline, this is just me being a bit silly, lol! :D However, the descriptions are uncanny when compared to a certain brunette that we all love to dislike!)

There. It's official. I didn't want to sign up until I was sure that I wasn't pulling one of those lame "Let's conveniently pair everyone up to get them out of my OTP's way" moves. I needn't have worried. The more I watch Sawyer and Ana's scenes together, the more I realize that they've had me at "WHAT DID I TELL YOU????"

So that opens up the possibility for Sana. Sawyers horny, Ana's horny, why shouldnt they? And Ana's theory on the "Thats what people do" means shes pretty open to the idea. Unlike Kate, where she wants to turn Sawyer into someone like Jack, which is beyond lame. Sawyers cool the way he is. And Jack's cool the way he is, you have to keep the characters different, and making the bad guy into a good guy would just make Sawyer lame. He was getting pretty boring as the good guy, but hes back as the bad guy, the only way hes entertaining.

Hah. He so totally does already. Man, if only they hadn't assassinated Shannon's character with the love story and the sympathy-grabbing flashback. If only they'd kept "Sticks" in full b*tch mode, Sawyer's needs would have been taken care of by now.

You're right that Ana has no problem with people being who they are, but I still think she'd be great at putting huge cracks in his armour.

As for Raggs' answers... well, I didn't expect him to be any clearer. I didn't know anything about a J/A/S triangle per se. Don't kill me for saying this, but I don't really want Ana's first order of business on the losties' side of the island to be shacking up with any of the guys. I want to see her kick some butt. Now, I won't say that I would mind seeing her and Sawyer exchange barbs and engage in some heated eyef***ing, but if S/A is ever going to happen, I'd like it to be gradual and well-written.

That is kind of why I'm thinking that the Jana-ness (if you can call it that) now bodes well for Sana-ness in the future. Considering the knife edge that tptb are walking when involving relationships (I mean one wrong slip and we could all be heading for Soap-City, know what I mean? ;)) I'd say they've got enough room to pull one switcheroo on us. Introducing the relationships they way they have been (Jana :) , Skate:no:) leaves me thinking that the ultimate set up will indeed be Jate and Sana (though I may be wishful thinking :o) and to someone who doesn't frequent these boards that will be a doozy of an outcome. ;) :cool:

Unless, that is, they put the breaks on Jana and Skate right now and switch them around before things get deeper in those areas. If they started Sana interation and Jateness soon, then I wouldn't put it past them to end with Jana and Skate.

On to more pressing matters... I wasn't surprised at all to see Ana react the way she did. I think Sayid and her can have a very interesting alliance. I don't want any romance though. I'm big on believing that female characters are perfectly capable of working side by side with guys without going all weak at the knees over them. I wouldn't be averse to Jack/Ana either if I saw anything there, but I don't. And believe me, I wanted to see Jack making out with someone so bad, I could have shipped him with Shannon. (Shut up! :p They were both tall and hot and she would have totally clucked his brains out, just for the heck of it.)

I do agree they have chemistry. I am looking forward to seeing Ana & Sayid but only as friends, I don't see them romanticaly or anything more then friends. I have been looking forward to seeing scenes with them (loved the only 2 they have had) & I'm looking forward to there friendship I hope they have.

Personally I'm only invested in the show because of MR. I started watching the first season but stopped b/c of my night job and I just wasn't trying to tape it at the time. MR is the reason I decided to invest time in this show and if she's gone so is my motivation to watch it. Although, I love Sawyer, so I may glance at it once in a while to see what's up with him but if he gets too cozy with Kate...

Yeah i highly doubt shes getting jail time, being a celebrity and all. However she still has a chance at it. I kind of think the writers arent all that worried about it either. ^Well they did say that they're not getting rid of her because of her personal setbacks (*crosses fingers*)... so there's hope there even if it's a little. and if worse comes to worse it's better to have her character kidnapped than being killed (remember the x-files, guys?). somehow AL's abduction may serve as some sort of a catalyst for the tribe to raise their so-called army and have that story arc continue until MR comes back...

i'm not really worried about the March 30th trial yet. it's just a hearing. she's not gonna be sentenced right then and there. unless of course i'm wrong...:D

I'm pretty sure I would stop watching Lost because I was never into the first season but I watched anyway, but the second season I love because of MR. Lost has became my fav show because of her.


I still don't think Ana is going to get killed off. I worry some but I really don't think she is. In case *fingers crossed*. I would go crazy if she did die & I would be in denial for a while.
