Can anyone suggest some good angry/passionate breakup-type songs? I just need to express my anger about an almost-relationship that got sabotaged before it could begin. A good example is "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd, one of my all-time favorites, or "It's Not Over" by Daughtry. I have a small playlist collected, but I could use some more...
Thanks in advance!

Aw. I'm so sorry. I've actually been helping a friend of mine deal with a similar situation. "Over You" by Daughtry is one of my favorites. I also love "Diary of Jane" by Breaking Benjamin. I hope things turn out okay. ;)

Oh, it's okay; I'm more angry than anything. But for once I'm trying to express my anger with music rather than lashing out, which is what I would normally do.
Thanks, SKaN0n! "Diary of Jane" is very good...

"Song For The Dumped" by Ben Folds Five, and
"Bitch Went Nuts" by Ben Folds.
Go for it. ;)

"Rootless Tree" by Damien Rice is my go to angry song. (The "F" word is used quite liberally, just letting you know in case you have a problem with it)

Thanks everyone, good stuff. That Breaking Benjamin song is my favorite so far
Anyone familiar with Fuel? They have a lot of good stuff, especially in their first two albums...

P!nk's new one about her divorce is catchy. And apparently the video is funny in her usual crazy way, so it might help you feel better too. Sorry to hear about your breakup:hug:

I don't listen to them religiously but I love "Hemmorage (In My Hands)" and "Falls on Me".

I should probably clarify that it wasn't an actual breakup, because there was no relationship. It was just a girl who liked me, and I decided I liked her, and then somehow it got sabotaged and now she won't speak to me. So naturally I'm angry and could use some more good "breakup" music. Especially of the hard rock variety...

My favorite "breakup song" is Vacum Bag by Stroke 9
Some Lyrics:
Remember that time on that trip,
You asked me where we were going.
I said Barcelona.
You said "that's not what I meant"
Well maybe I'll never get it
I just don't think I'm like that
I don't like planning stuff out
'Cause it never happens that way
Well I'm like a vacum bag that hold all that old dirt
Remember that time we found your mom's valium . . . and took it!
And then this is where you put your hand in a fist and sing . . .
Don't hate me!
Don't regret me!
Don't ever . . . forget me!
Wherever you go,
Whatever you do,
Don't say I . . . never loved you . . .

The Scientist by Coldplay is the ultimate. It's so sad though. Listen with caution. =/

Every time i hear "Just Like Heaven" by the Cure it reminds me of my very first breakup. It was playing when i hung up the phone. Great song, but very bittersweet.
