The people who brought us abominations such as Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet The Spartans bring us another "parody" movie.

This movie looks like it has no script, packed with irrelevant references, and incredibly cheap.

I think those guys who have seen way too many movies, should actually start considering making movies half as good as those many other movies. :mad:

Same here. Luckily enough.

Hopefully the trailer does have some sense in it. That being the line: "The End Is Coming"

Hopefully this film sees the end to scriptwriting turned directing duo Friedberg and Seltzer.

Here's the sad part: The budgets for the "[insert here] Movie" budgets are so low that they could easily make a profit at the box office, hence how we keep having these abominations disgrace our screens.

I remember back in 2000 when Scary Movie was a box office hit, I predicted that we would end up getting films like these, with the exact titles "[Insert here] Movie" flicks. However, could have never predicted how AWFUL they would be. I saw clips of these flicks on HBO, my god, it's torture. Not only are the jokes incoherent, slapstick garbage but some of them are just randomly tossed in for the hell of it.

Just stick with the classic parody films like AIRPLANE!, THE NAKED GUN, HOT SHOTS. Now THOSE are actually funny! Even WRONGFULLY ACCUSED is more consistently funny than these disasters.

But I must admit, as crappy as they are, Leslie Neilson has still got it. The bit with him on that ad for SUPERHERO MOVIE is the only amusing part of the whole ad. He just nails that deadpan humor but it's a shame to see him wasted in these turds.:(
