Josh Holloway in person!

Today I went with RogueAsh (http://www.lost-forum.com/member.php?u=1872) to watch Josh Holloway filming Whisper (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435528/) ... he was really awesome, they were filming at the Vancouver Art Gallery. There were a bunch of cars with Massachusets license plates set up like a parking lot, and I watched them film two sequences- in the first (which actually takes place after the second one), Josh runs down the steps of the art gallery, following another man, but loses him when he encounters a dog in the parking lot that barks at him and prevents him from passing. By the time the owner has moved the dog away, the other man has hidden himself amongst the cars and Josh's character is upset by not being able to find him.

The second sequence was much shorter, just Josh's character walking up the steps of the art gallery, it seemed like it was in order to meet the other man's character inside.

They had covered the grass, trees, steps, and stone lions of the art gallery with fake snow to make it appear to be winter, and all the extras were wearing heavy coats, toques, etc. Josh looked very Sawyer-esque, dressed in runners, jeans, a blue long-sleeved shirt, a red hooded sweatshirt, and a brown leather jacket. His hair was still exactly the same.

Josh seemed really happy to be filming. He watched extras and supporting cast filming with interest, and kept laughing and talking with various crew-members. Then when it was his turn he asked for pointers from the director, checked on things he wasn't sure of, and seemed in a very good mood. More than once he said "I'm on fire!" with a big smile on his face to others on set between takes. He was pretty happy with the way things were going.

He didn't come over to talk to me and the other spectators, but I did catch his eye at one point and he gave me a huge grin, very sexy. He's very attractive in person, and he really looks just like Sawyer. It was really cool. After those two sequences he had to go film inside, so that's all I saw. But he's going to be here all summer so I'll probably go and watch again, and this time I'll remember to bring a camera! Maggie Gracie is filming here too, so maybe I'll get to her on set at some point also and I'll post about that also if I do.

Hehe, my two cents. Josh looked so hot. And his accent was very much present and very cute. I wish I would've had my digital camera to grab some pics...

speaking of.... so many touristy people in Vancouver. NO ONE knew who Josh was and EVERYONE was taking pictures. Like, "gee look a set" *snap**snap**snap* "who's in it? oh.... no idea who they are." *snap**snap*snap*.

So any other BC Lost fans feel like showing Sawyer some love, that'd be awesome. Ashantai and I will keep track of locations for ya'll and give you a heads up before hand so we can rally there for Lost. :D

He has some scruff. It's not as thick as it is on the show and he's not clean shaven either. Pretty much, he looks exactly the same.

Okay, for one... I can't wait til the movie comes out because the 30 seconds of screen time looks JUST like a flashback from Lost.

And for any Cnadian, if you're interested in productions check out this site:www.hollywoodnorthreport.com. There's lots of good links and areas of the site but people go into the forums and post sets they see during the day. I'm in there everyday to see what's going on (using RogueAsh there too for any interested). But normally people put where they saw production signs and for what. Most of the time they're big sets listed, occasionally TV shows are but since TV sets are wrapping then there's really nothing but films now.

I wish I could see him on set. :( I love Canada too. The only celebs that came to my town were Bruce Willis and Cate Blanchet when they were filming Bandits.
If only he would came to San Francisco. You aren't considered gay if you visit.

Me and my gf were driving down Robson just a couple of hours ago when we spotted him walking on the sidewalk by himself. He had a big smile (maybe because no one recognized him), had long hair, wearing a touque, tall, and sporting a scruffy look. Looks just like his trouble making character. When i saw him, i was like hey that's Sawyer from Lost.
