OK! So, I create a thread telling the people of LF about my new series of videos, The 'Top 'X' Series'.

Where LOST fans get to contribute and share their thoughts and ideas of what they want to see...

I get a warning for this, For advertising...Uh...Why!? I replied to that warning with the following response:

THIS IS ABSOLUTLEY LUDACRIS!

It was in Off-Site Media, and the Advertisement was NOT for personal gain!!!

I was just showing my new series of videos for LOST where everyone is involoved...How about you consult me about it before you give your crappy warnings first!

So today, I received an infraction for Disrespecting/Bashing LF Staff...Again, WTF!?

Exie should have consulted me about the thread before sending me the warning (ie. Why is it there, what is its purpose?).

If Exie feels I am being disrespectful...Why not talk to me about it, If im acting that way after a warning is sent to me, how is sending an infraction going to solve anything.

I am absolutley annoyed at this, Exie should have atleast tried to work stuff out before laying it all down on me, Exie should have tried communicating and tried to resolve the issues, but no...That's not what happened.

Exie could have moved it, or told me about it.

The thread was Off-Site Media, it seemed like the right place. It was media...off the site.

Take some time to read the Forum Rules and FAQ.

Had you done so, you would have realized that we don't owe you a heads-up before we close/move anything, nor are we required to explain all of our decisions. This is a very large forum with a very clear set of rules and guidelines for keeping threads neat and *open* - personal videos being pimped out in off-site media is advertisement. Whether you agree with that definition or not, when you registered you agreed to follow our rules and guidelines; that doesn't change because you don't understand.

Your reply to her was clearly rude, and why on earth you think it doesn't need to receive a warning is beyond me.

In the future, should you have a personal beef with a mod, taking it public isn't a smart idea. Feel free to contact a mod or admin with your problem should you find yourself in a similar situation in the future; you're more likely to get an explanation in private. Opening up a thread attacking mod policies? Not going to get you very far.

What do you think Lost Forum is, high school? The Staff isn't here to cuddle members and hold their hands while they "learn" the rules as they go, or to anticipate tantrums and offer consoling to members who can't understand rules in plain English.

I am absolutley annoyed at this, Exie should have atleast tried to work stuff out before laying it all down on me, Exie should have tried communicating and tried to resolve the issues, but no...That's not what happened.
I see how your failure at reading our rules and FAQ is ALL Exie's fault. Maybe she should apologize to you??? :blank:

-or-

You can leave LF all together, like how you have "threatened" to do the last time we enforce rules on you. If you don't want to read our rules and the FAQ, and cannot understand that moderation is always at the discretion of the staff (i.e. we make the decisions on how rules are enforced, not you), your best bet is to find another forum like you have threatened to do so (in very dramatic fashion to boot) in the past.
