Does anyone remember on the FotR EE commentary when they talked about how they created that game called Tig and convinced Elijah Wood that it was a real game. They just kept making up rules, stuff like "you can't double tig on a tog," but Elijah completely bought it! I think finally at the end of shooting they broke the news that it was just made up. I must say, Elijah sounds like he's a wee bit gullible;)

l'm a huge Dom/Billy fan. They're also my favs from LOTR too. Have you seen the featurettes on The Two Towers Special Extended DVD Edition Box Sets where they were both talkin about how they got left in Tree Beard during lunch and stuff, and how they kept getting their nuts squashed from sitting on those bike seats for so long. OMG l must have like watched that 5 times, laughing over and over. lt was halarious...lol.

Sean Astin was indeed VERY annoying. I think that he is worst in The Two Towers commentary. He kept on interupting Elijah and Andy and stealing their time. I still love Sean though. But, yeah, Billy and Dom are the main reason to listen to the commentaries. I love the Tig Tag game that they talked about in FOTR. That was so funny! Plus, I just love all of those random comments they make that make absolutely no sense.

Sean did interrupt alot but I think it's obvious he's just pretty insecure and a bit neurotic. Has anyone read his book An Actor's Tale? He's got a lot of hangups. It explains why he may not be as close with the others as they are all to each other. Dom is always talking about hanging out still with Viggo, Orly, Billy, Elijah but he never mentions Sean. And I don't think it is just because Sean is married with children. Viggo is too.

SCOTS actor Billy Boyd is playing a free gig with his band in Govan today.

Lord of the Rings star Billy and his group, The Angel's Share, are guests at the Govan Gathering, which also sees ex-Del Amitri member Bryan Tolland and traditional Scots band MacUmba perform at Elder Park.

Billy, who premiered his rocking sounds at Glasgow's Oran Mor just a few months ago, said he can't wait to play all over his home city.

He said: "This is almost a tour now I've gone from Byres Road to Govan. I need to make it to the East End and North Side now so I've performed at every side of the compass." They're hardly the first literary sidekicks, though they may be the best. And their transition to the screen, like everything else in the Rings trilogy, is pitch-perfect. Oh yeah Billy and Dom are quite a team. I loved the behind the scenes and extras stuff on the LOTR disk. Too funny! They are the greatest :D

Yeah, those two are just awesome in all the behind the scene LOTR stuff! And Elijah too. Those three seem like the best of friends! I had completely forgotten about the screenplay that Billy and Dom were working on. It would be cool to see it come to life. Anything written by those two just has to be good!
