Although Matt is a wonderful crafted actor, in my opinion the very BEST (and has been at least since Party of Five...) it is amazing and totally UNFAIR that he has never won an award ! Up until a few months ago he had NEVER been INDICATED !!! :(

I've said this so many times before so I won't repeat myself... you all know how I feel about this injustice... :(

Yeapy I knew about that one but I don't count it because it was won now in 2005 for LOST. Matt will win some awards (I HOPE) for LOST. And it finally happened because of the hype around LOST. If the show wasn't a huge sucess Matt would be once again forgotten by Hollywood. Of course I am happy he won that award but I don't fool myslef... it was because of the sucess of LOST. Not that Matt didn't deserve to win... on the contrary, he deserved to win MUCH BEFORE LOST and regardless of LOST.

I don't want Matt to be associated with LOST, as if it to say that he is only a wonderful actor because he is staring in a huge success. I want Matt's talent and hard work to be recognized INSPITE of Lost.

As far as I know... it's the ONLY one they have given Matt...

He hasn't won nearly enough awards. He deserved to win some for Party of Five. He was amazing in Haunted. He's incredible in Lost. He BETTER win some for Lost. Not just that Golden Satellite but Golden Globes, Emmy's the works. :D

I just read in a Brazilian Lost blog that Foxy DIDN'T WIN the Saturn Awards for BEST ACTOR on a TV series !!!
I had forgotten about this award ! It happened in the first week of May.

Lost was running for best TV show and WON.
Terry O Quinn was running for best supporting actor and WON.

Matthew was running for BEST ACTOR and LOST TO Ben Browder -FARSCAPE: PEACEKEEPER WARS ! I have NO idea who that actor is but I AM SURE he can't be any better than Matt !!! :mad:

A thought just crossed my mind. Foxy was in the main land on May 6th, we know he attended the Derby party on Friday. And Foxy was at the Derby May 7th and so was Terry O'Quinn. Terry was nominated for best supporting actor and WON... since both had planned in advance to be on the main land for the Kentucky Derby, maybe they were in town since Tuesday for the Saturn awards. Maybe they planned to go to the awards together too...

Gosh I HOPE Foxy was't at the Saturn Awards. :(
It would make it even sadder and unfair for him to have to sit there and watch LOST and Terry win only to lose to that other guy. :(

Farscape fan here *raise hand* lol!!! Ben Browder is another great actor who hit it big with Farscape, one of the best scifi series I've EVER seen on TV. It was difficult rooting for 2 of my favorite actors for the Saturn Awards but at the end I can only hope the best man wins.

Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars was a gift to Farscape fans who fought hard and long after the series got dropped by the cable channel SciFi two years ago. It answered the major cliffhanger left in the series due to the abrupt cancellation and help Scapers find closure... I'm glad they took care of the fans and I bawled like a baby when I watched it :o

LOST being such a hit show would surely bring more attention to Matt... I hope he get recognized for that heart-wrenching death scene with Boone :clap:
