Has anyone else noticed the uncanny physical resemblance between Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) and Eric Clapton?

Sorry I don't see the resemblence either. I have always viewed Clapton as an unnattractive sort and Cusick as "Whoa momma" hot.

i don't think so. if you cut clapton's hair and shave his beard, they will look nothing alike. Desmond is way hotter!

I agree that Cusick looks a lot like Clapton many years ago. Check out pictures of Clapton in his recovering from drugs/discovering Jesus era. They are near dead ringers (and that's not a bad thing)!
