We have a fake tree - I love real ones but they're so messy :) and I have 2 younger sisters who only just coming up to the age of being old enough to be properly careful around it and not knock it over. It was my littlest sister's bday today (she's 9) so we put her birthday decorations up for a few days before we start with the Christmas ones.

I never had a real tree :( Ok, I did once, but I was really young and the tree was really small (about my height) but we usually don't have real trees here because of the weather (it's summer in december and winter in july) so it's always really hot during x-mas, not good for that kind of tree, so we always have fake ones

Oh goodness.... Breathe Me is SOOOO AMAZING. I absolutely adored the song when I heard it in the Six Feet Under finale... even though the whole ending montage was a little..um.. :eh:
