I think Tom Hanks is a great actor. He definitely deserved his Oscars for Forrest Gump and Philadelphia. IMO he also deserved one for Saving Private Ryan, but unfortunately someone else got it.

I can't think of a particular actress at the moment, I'll probably add one later.

Judging only from one particular movie, I think Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins were both incredible in The Silence Of The Lambs.

If we are speaking about present day, then Actors for me would be: Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. I get the De Niro vibe from DiCaprio, and the Brando vibe from Penn.

Yes. I believe if he could get some meaty dramatic roles, he could be Oscar material. You can see a glimmer of that in First Contact. If he's still alive and working by the time I get to be a director :rolleyes: , I'm gonna get him for a role.
