LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Josh Holloway, best known as part of the ensemble of castaways on the ABC hit drama "Lost," has been tapped to star as a kidnapper in the big-screen supernatural thriller "Whisper."



Sarah Wayne Callies will co-star as his girlfriend in the movie, which centers on the abduction of a young boy in New England. Callies is making her feature debut later this year in the upcoming adventure film "The Celestine Prophecy," based on the novel.


Stewart Hendler is making his directorial debut on "Whisper" for Gold Circle Films, with a screenplay from producer-turned-writer Chris Borrelli.


In addition to playing Sawyer, the hot-tempered southerner on "Lost," Holloway's credits include the feature films "Cold Heart" and "Moving August."

Now I know IMDB may not always be as accurate but either way it is alteast somewhere to keep an eye up for info on it untill any official website comes our way.

According to filming locations it looks like they are gonna film this in Canada?
Also tentative release date for it well EXTREMELY tentative I'd say lol..is 2006.

I am not allergic to heros....it depends on how they are done...I wasn't thinking of a goody 2 shoes type hero..just as the "good guy" in the story..but then again...if he is a kidnapper..it doesn't have to mean he is the villain in the movie..could be a twist too..lol

Cold Hart was pretty good...I didn't really expect much of it but I was pleasantly surprised. Sabretooth is fun but horrible CGI...allthough the rest of the movie isnt too bad though :D. Moving August is okish..but I actually prefer Cold Heart and Sabretooth. Those are the ones I have seen of his movies..and I have also seen the Angel epsiode he was in and the NICS (is that correct??!! LOL) eppy he was in also, still havent seen the eppy he was in Walker Texas Ranger though grrr.

Nope...if you look at the filming schedule it it is from April18th. to June 9th. I think the wrap for the first season of Lost is on April 26th or around that time. I am sure Josh is filming during the hiatus for LOST.

I also love suspense thrillers, and I think Josh will be perfect as the kidnapper who (I am guessing) is not so much a villain as an "anti-hero", the bad guy with the heart of gold. Yep, that sounds like casting genius to me!!!

LOL um...I just got lucky and caught this on thefuselage.com, I don't have any sources LOL.

as for the international coupons they are the only way for ppl outside US to send a self stamped addressed envelope. I don't think they are more of a problem for the receiver cos all they do is to use the envelope and hand in those IRC's to get stamps on the envelope at the post office. To be honest I think they have "ppl" who do that for them unless they drop by the post office on their own lol
