Which other ship do Jacketeers belong to?

Okay so we ship Jacket but we all know that its a very new ship, cant deny the hot chemistry though in only 6 episode :nod:

So I was wondering if we Jacketeers were mostly Jate followers or Skate?

I have to admit for the first season I was a Jater but since then have been converted to Skate. Jacket is my main ship, you gotta love the doc's ;)

even if there was no sawyer on the island and the triangle would be jack/juliet/kate i'd still ship jack/jules.

here's the thing though, it's not out of convinience;i don't ship her and jack so he's out of skate's way. if i wanted to be a hypocrite about it, i could've shipped him and ana-lulu when she was around. i didn't though.

kate and jack are so... bipolar together, both of them are strangely detached in their scenes with one another. at least in the last 2 & 1/2 seasons.

:shock: wow, i've gone completely off topic. but i guess i just wanted to clarify that it's got nothing to do with the fact that i ship skate. it's all to do with who jack clicks better with. ;)

definately Skate, I think that Juliet has much more chemistry with Jack than Kate ever did. I've always been a Skater, but when they introduced Juliet I felt that she was meant to be with Jack. :)

Anyway, I'm a skater. A mild one, I guess. I don't do Jacket because Juliet's way too good for Jack. But they have chemistry. And Jack's actually a lot more tolerable when he's around her, so yeah, I could buy that ship if it was ever to be a reality.

I don't get why Jaters seem to claim that Jack and Kate have so much "chemistry". All their scenes lately are clunky and awkward (intentional by the writers), and they definitely don't look madly in love. Jack would've loved to be with Kate, but Kate knows she can't be with him. She doesn't want him to leave and never see him again... she went to "rescue" him for just that reason- she cares very deeply about his well being. Jaters take that and think she ran off to otherville to abandon Sawyer and live happily ever after with Jack like in their fairytale daydreams. On the flip side, they scream bloody murder when Skate has a little argument and claim that she's "done with Sawyer" or something ridiculous. Kate and Jack have serious personality conflicts. Kate and Sawyer are a good fit and click together in every scene they've had this season. Jack and Juilet are like the epitome of chemistry. If there were ever two characters in television that were meant to be with each other, it would be them. :D
Personality-wise, Jules is the strongest woman on that island, and the only one that can balance Jack's alpha-male, strong leader mentality. Meanwhile, Kate fits with Sawyer because he's the only person on the island with whom she can just be herself and not have to run away.

EDIT: After looking at all the other posters in this thread, I think I'm the only 1 out of 7 million dudes that watch this show that doesn't just care about the origins of the smoke monster or finding the next hatch. :(

So nice to see someone who doesn't necessarily ship, but does notice the huge difference when Kate is with Jack and when Kate is with Sawyer. It's like two different women.

Jacket is definitely something really strong on the island, or, at least, something much stronger than what was between Jack and Kate...
To be fair - i like the actress, EL, but now her Kate is shown as she wants to have both of them which really annoys me...
but i also think that the relationship between Kate and Sawyer is really special and it should be awarded... :D
