I was browsing the 'Have a little faith in Jate' thread, and I saw so recalling of our favorite Jate moments going on, and I thought we could use a thread of past Jate talk to remind us of what's going to be so difficult for Kate to let go of...there's just no erasing the Jate that's happened:nod:

The one I saw being talked about(if those people don't mind me picking up on), was the net scene and "S.O.S."- I remember that night perfectly! I watch the show with my family, and when I start to go *squee* and *aww* at ever Jate scene, well, they tend to get annoyed. So during commerical break I politely excused myself to the bathroom to do a happy Jater dance:wub:

So, share your thoughts, your memories...everthing we've loved so far- and will continue to love- about the Jate experience, because, my friends, Jate's not over...

The kiss... Ehm well.. I dunno what i did... I think i had a hangover of adrinaline, if that is possible.. i don't remember my reaction...

I'm just... a messed up obsessed girl... :p

Well, this is a hard one....but knowing the situation that exists right now, I remember a good one between Jack and Kate. During Tabula Rasa, Kate has been attacked by the marshall and she and Jack "storm" out onto the beach in the rain. He finally confronts her and lets her know that he knows her secret and tells her that he isn't a murderer. There is such fire and passion in that scene, part of me watches it and wonders if Jack felt pulled to either yell at Kate or kiss her. The rain just always makes their scenes so much hotter to me! I don't know, I just love that scene and picture my own ending!

SOS is a great episode. I did lots of squeeing when I first watched it, so much so that the dogs in neighborhood actually started howling. One of favorite eppys is actually "Everybody Hates Hugo". The shower scene was great, I loved how he just kept staring at her. And the ending was sweet too.

I remember when I was watching WKD for the first time. I remember when they kissed, my entire family immediately looked away from the screen to see my reaction because they knew how big of a Jater I was. After the episode, my brother and I (he's a Jater but isn't as obsessed since he's a twelve year old boy, basically) went upstairs and jumped around doing a Jater dance. It was great.

I also remember when we watched EHH. I was taking notes on it for an essay for English class I'd have to do. :D I remember having a hard time staying completely neutral and making the shower scene sound G rated. It was a hard task. :sweat:

Oh! I remember when I was watching my Season 1 DVD's for the first time. I remember freaking out and jumping around after watching the deleted scene.

And this really doesn't have anything to do with Jate memories but on like, the third week of school, I got really bored in Psychology and Algebra so I made an entire list of every Jate moment I could think of off the top of my head in chronological order. :D :giggle: :o

But I became a full-out Jater the day of Walkabout, when he touched her face. That was when they were replaying the episodes on the Saturday following when it aired--So there I was, watching my Red Sox win the Playoffs before the world series, and at the commercial I was flipping the channels and what what did I catch at the exact moment it was on? THE FACE TOUCH. :cloud9:

And then the hug....awww...
And then I remember when I first found Lost Forum right before Whatever the Case May Be. We had SO much fun here the following summer, the Baby Jaters did :) :grouphug:

and when they finally kissed--I was at my friend's house watching, and they make fun of me for being so obsessed, so I had to keep quiet and hardly react--I thought i was going to IMPLODE. my god that was amazing...

of course there are many others :)

And I know everyone loves the Moth Hug, as do I, but I also loooove it whenever she founds out Jack is trapped, and she gives Sawyer that look that says "You smurfing ass!"

During watching the kiss scene first time on my Tv.
I just got DVD from my sister ( in poland season 2 wasn't aired then) and I wanted to watch the kiss that day. So I watched all 9 episodes in a row. And when kiss appeared I was like *sqeeeee* *teary eyes* And then my mom began to think about me as a freak. :giggle:

During watching kiss on TV (when it aired here) I was all like *squeee* *awww* my hands become wet and I had tears in my eyes (like I was watching it for the first time)

During the mothe I always wander will Jack alive (don't ask me..It's stupid) the same goes with the net scene..And the I'm not sceene..well I'm always hoping Michael won't show up :p

During watching TOTC I was throwing pop-corn at my monitor whenever Juliet appeared. :crackup:

During the Pilot..when Jack comes out of the bushes (when they fins pilot's body) I always hope that Kate'll hug Jack..however she never does :o :o :bawl: :p
During hiatus I made a calendar-countdown and I was counting EVERY single day :o :o

I'm basically a new jater...:o and lost fan...but when i first saw the pilot via iTunes, i knew nothing of the show...and was looking for a couple that would keep my interest....and accidentally mistook the canon relationship to be Jack and claire....oops:shifty:

I loved them by the end of the Tabula Rosa, when i saw how conflicted and jangsty it would be....but the Moth is when i became obsessed....

Memories...

1. When WKD aired, I had no idea that a Jiss was going to happen, so when it happened, I just SCREAMED so loud that I woke my mum who wasnt happy...and I was just dancing around the room yelling and screaming. Needless to say, I got NO sleep that night, and when it came to school the next day, I was so disoriented!! mainly cuz I was SO happy with the Jiss and the lack of sleep!

2. SOS..jeez I hate Michael!! I was staring transfixed at the screen thinking that Jack and Kate were going to kiss after his "im not" and then damn Michael bursts thru and I was so mad I spilt all my hot choc down my PJs and cursed loudly, earning me a week's grounding.

3. In english we were supposed to be making notes on Frankenstein, except I made a list for all the reasons that Jate is Fate. My teacher caught me and he read them out to the class, earning me detention and the class laughing at me.

4. My school desktop is covered with pictures of Jate. All the moments they've had together, and the Jiss in the middle of it.

5. I wrote a dyojs in french class..my teacher saw it and said that if it had been coursework (which i should have been doing) I would have gotten an A* for creativity. And no im not posting it on here! :o

6. Instead of doing homework, I discovered this forum and now spent half my time on here while watching Jate music videos on youtube.

Im not obsessed :shifty: Well.. obsessed enough that it gets me in a lot of trouble! But my teachers have gotten used to it now...

Oh and another memory...i recently watched I do..and when Kate took the pregnancy test...my IMMEDIATE thought was JABY!!!!!!!!! and I kinda dropped everything I was holding and it took me a good ten minutes to figure out it wasnt Jacks.. the joys of being totally obsessed :giggle:

lol one of my best moments was when after their fight...jack is heading back to the hatch and kate catches up with him, and she says she was glad he beat sawyer and when he was going to walk her back to the beach i was SOOOOO SOOO SOO excited it was like...'goddd...they will finally talk about all they want to and it may lead to something' but those stupid crates had to come in the middle....
other was when they sat by the fire...sharing food...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
oh yeah how can i forget sitting by the fire talkin abt their relationship when they had gone to rescue michael...so sweeeeetttt...i HATE michael...if he hadn't got them caught...stupid ugly dumb skex wouldnt have happened!

And I was doodling the other day, writing Jate is Fate and all that jazz, when my sister's best friend's sister walked in (shes only 8) and asked what it was. And I restrained myself from preaching the word of Jate, and merely said "Oh its island-language for True love :giggle:

And aaaalso at school me and emmy2 were talking about the walkie talkie scene, and she said "I wonder if they will jex it up over the walkie talkie"..which had me crack up...and since we are very dirty minded when it comes to Jate well...im not saying cuz this is a PG 13 forum lol..

i remember wen we got the sneak peek for the jate reunion, i had my headphones on cause my mum was watching the news and i was squeeing and crying (:o)...she thought i was upset with some issue that was on the news:rolleyes:

I remember the first time I realized how much Jate was amazing. It was during the World Series 2004 (YES THE RED SOX, BABY!!!) I think game 2, Saturday night and during one of the commercials I changed the channel for a second. This was when they used to replay the epps on Saturday nights when it first started--they were rerunning Walkabout and I just caught the moment when Jack touched Kate's face. And I felt that Jate feeling and its only gotten stronger since :) (and it was conveniently during the sox winning the series...coincidence???? lol any yankees fans here? because I may need to kick your butt ;))

also, to anyone who was on Lost Forum during season 1 when there were only about 15 regular Jaters, we used to stay up all night in the summer playing that game where you add "in bed" to the end of every fortune cookie slip of paper (eg "You will soon recognize your potential...in bed" "You will soon discover a new hobby...in bed")
