When Did You Start To Ship Skate?

For me, it was Season Two...which is also when I first started watching "LOST". It was on "What Kate Did" that did me in. The pill scene was what really touched me. I asked my brother, "Does that girl like him?" to which my brother replied, "Well yeah...but she also likes the doctor. She just doesn't know who she likes more."

I also fell in love with Sawyer's character. I thought they looked so cute together and it was at that moment when they were walking out of the hatch that a new Skater was born. :cloud9: :lotsalove :heart:

So I want to know what Season and episode made you want to ship Skate.

At the first time I've seen Jack and Kate I thougth 'Oh my god I hope they never get together they're soo boring O_O'. And in the part two of the pilot I saw Sawyer drag kate into him and tell her ' I've been with girls like you' And I said ' MY GOD THIS THE MOST UNCANON SHIP EVER ! But I ship for them, Anything wold be good against Jack/Kate. But then again I saw confidence man... and I see the real Light of them and stuff <3

I've watched since the first episode. I can't remember specifically when I started to ship Skate, but I think it began around when Confidence Man aired. ;)

I've shipped since season one, but for me it was mostly subconscious. I couldn't stand Kate for most of the season, but then Born to Run came on and I started to feel sympathy for her and it really changed the way I looked at her. The fireside scene in that episode made me realize I loved Skate because for me I don't realize what I have until it's gone. Same went for Skate. I realized I loved them together when they were separated. :rolleyes: :giggle:

The first episode I've seen on TV was Jack setting on the beach and Kate than sat next to him. I was like :rolleyes: The wraters will get tham togathere how shocking. :shock:
But I wasn't in to tham.
The reason I even new about the show was because I've seen Josh promoting the show on TV. And I was like WOW!! who's that HOT!! guy. The next day I wen't to the store and ask about Lost. They told me it will come out on October. This was in London, so I wen't to Amazon US and order it from there. It came in 3 days. And When I sow the ''I made this birthday wich 4 years ago" I was like. "They have to get togather"!!.
I never looked back and I will never do. :w00t:

It was pretty early in s.1, don't remember the exact scene but I was leaning both ways through the first half of season one. But the What The Case May Be, made me a total skater :) The scene where Jack made Kate cry and the waterfall scene turned me. But I think I saw their potential back when he killed the marshal for her. :) The chemistry is just undeniable.

season 1, I hadn't see the first three episodes and discovered the show with total random:eek: , I've been a hardcore shipper of Skate since Confidence Man, in the previous episodes, I liked both characters a lot and immediately:D
I started shipping on the internet (totally new to me to ship one coupl on a show:o ) at the end of season one and now see where I am!!
and before I came on the internet I was totally unaware about Jate's existence, to me Kate was attracted by Sawyer, and Jack was the nice guy she liked a lot as a friend and a confident, but I couldn't see any sexual or romantic tension:giggle: and if you ask me I still can't see any romance between them:shifty: :giggle: , just some complicity and what could be a great friendship in the future:)

I'd been watching the show rather casually cause i remember there were a few episodes i didn't see until the dvds came out. I didn't really care about the ships. I thought jack and kate were rather cute at first, but i felt there was something.. missing with them. and after 6-7 episodes i found their relashionship get stale.

i also liked kate with sawyer. i absolutely loved the waterfall scene, the look between them at the golf course, 'i never' and the 'i don't wear cologne'. :giggle: lmao. gets me everytime.
i gradually started liking them though i still wasn't that passionate about them.

then the scene in exodus where they're looking for each other... that had me. i shipped them.

and then season 2 came along and at the bottle scene with kate... *sigh* i realized i shipped them most ardently. ;)

Mine is season 1, in "The Moth" (episode 107) where Jack and Charlie are trapped in a cave-in. It's when Sawyer comes running to tell the news to Kate and Sayid who are heading up the mountains to put up their antennas to find the French distress call.

I have never heard anyone say they ship Skate in that scene, but now that you mention it even that early Sawyer cared about what she thought. I shipped them before this episode, but I didn't like Kate in this episode because of how high and mighty she was and really had no right to be.

When I first started watching Lost, I saw immediately what everyone else saw and that was they were setting up Jack and Kate as the couple. I thought they were cute together but for me there was something missing. When they were introducing themselves I thought "ok look, they are trying to flirt, I'm so uncomfortable". Then came the moment for me. When I saw Sawyer pull Kate to him and say "I know yoour type", it was pretty much over. I never came online and joined forums until Outlaws and I was suprised that some ppl actually wanted Jack and Kate together. I was under the impression that Kate and Sawyer were the couple, of course I knew what the writers were trying to do with Jack and Kate, but never bought it.

I was rooting for Jack and Kate in the beginning like Luanne said, it was obviously "the couple" of the show, but I never shipped them in the meaning of that word for me "spending quality internet or real time on discussing the couple or reading fanfic". If the writers had gone the way of Jate, it would have been one of those other casual couples I root for to get together on shows but I wouldn't have cared too much. And, if I am really honest here, I hated Sawyer in the beginning with a passion til the end of CM really. Afterwards it switched from hating him to loving him rather quickly.

WTCMB might be the changing point for me in shipping because it showed imo what was wrong with Jate and what great potential Skate has. But if I take my definition from above, I really started shipping them after "Hearts and Minds", strange, I know because that episode has hardly any Sawyer and no skate at all. I guess absence really makes the heart grow fonder. Unfortunatly our/the german station went into summer hiatus after this ep. and I had to download season one and rewatched it from the pilot again with loving Sawyer every second of it. I came to the board around Collison and delurked after the "frog incident". See, that storyline was good for something. ;)

I became a SKater during season one. Not a huge one mind you. Towards the end of the series my obsession started to get very serious. Season 2 - I was crazy. Season three- still crazy :D And I love it.

Well, mine is actually kind of a long story. I resisted so much to watching Lost because I was so so addicted to this other show that I didn't want to pay attention to anything else. I saw the promos and all the hype over them, but I still didn't give it a chance. Then there was the Emmys last year. And they got a lot of emmys. And I thought to myself it must be good if they're getting so many awards. But even then, I still didn't start watching it.

Then in january this year, they started showing Lost on open tv. But I completely forgot about it because it was supposed to air really late. So the day that the pilot aired here I was bored outta my mind, couldn't sleep so I turned on the tv and it was just starting. I decided, what the hell, I'll just watch it for a few minutes. So, yeah, after that I was pretty much addicted to it. But I couldn't watch it every day because it was late, around midnight or so and I had classes the next day. So I kinda watched season 1 kind of on and off. Then season 2 started on AXN (cable tv) and I started to watch it properly. Meanwhile, I caught up on all the season 1 episodes, by renting the dvds. Until then I was on the fence, you know, it could go either way ship-wise, that it was fine by me. I watched it more for the mistery.

So one day, I was bored and decided to look up some Lost fics. God knows why, I decided to start with a skate fic and if I didn't like it I'd try a jate one. So I read one that I really can't remember right now, thought it was ok, but it was really short. Then I saw this one fic called In Hiding, and it had over 500 reviews so i thought it was probably good. And I started to read it. I read In Hiding and On The Road in a week, probably less than that, and this very week we had the Collision episode here. After that, I was completely sold. I couldn't even see how I once thought that Jate could work.

So to be honest, I don't really know if I became a SKater because of Collision and What Kate Did, or because of Leah's fics.

On the second part of The Pilot, my mom was watching it with me, and I said, "Woah, he's" - Sawyer, of course - "really hot." And mom replied, "Bad guys usually are."

So I thought he was a bad guy, at first, but then started liking him, and by Confidence Man I was really sold to the Sawyer/Kate chemistry and really not liking Jack's willingness to let Sayid torture my favorite con-man.

Though actually, in the beginning, I left a little room for Jate. I wasn't into die-hard shipping, so it was like, "Meh, whatever."

...But then that all changed and now it's like "SKATE OR DEATH" only not really, only almost.

I didn't watch season 1 when it aired on tv. :o I only started to watch Lost when season 2 began to air, so I had to back track and watch season 1 after it came out on dvd. Well at first I saw that Jack and Kate were set up to be the shows "couple," and I was fine with that. And when Kate/Sawyer kissed I didn't get all wound up over them, I just figured Sawyer was just going to throw some conflict into the Jack/Kate dynamic and that's about it. But then a few more episodes down the line, I noticed the following contrast and became a total Skater:

In Whatever The Case May Be, when Jack is demanding to know why Kate had gone through all that just to get the Toy Airplane, Kate is sad, distressed, desperate to be done with the conversation, and she bursts out "It belonged to the man I loved, it belonged to the man I Killed!" She didn't DECIDE to confess this to Jack, it just spilled out. Now later on in Outlaws, during the game of "I Never" when Sawyer says "I never killed a man," Kate looks at him, thinks carefully, and decides to let him know. She drinks. Then he drinks, too. Not only did I see Kate deciding to let him know-- IMO Sawyer had had the feeling she'd killed before, and carried that weight, and he wanted to let her know she wasn't alone. But of course being Sawyer (suspicous, guarded) wasn't going to lay his cards on the table if his gut feeling was wrong. I think that was the first time the Kate/Sawyer dynamic really struck a chord with me.

I cut and pasted the above paragraph from an email discussion I'm having with a Jater buddy of mine. :) We're resolved to undertand each other a little bit better. So yeah, although the kiss was impressive, it was the I Never thing that got me totally on board.

I've had a thing for Sawyer from the first time I saw him on screen. I thought Kate was cute and was obviously the lead female on the island. I even actually liked Jack in S1 when he wasn't an arrogant a**. I just never really saw any spark between him and Kate.

Then I saw the pre-polar bear scene:

That was it. I was hooked. I know it doesn't sound like much, but even then with so few words, I could just feel something, you know?

Anyway, their relationship has changed so much since then, but it's even better. The spark has not faded but in fact has grown brighter. Now they have some history and know each other. They have the potential to be one of the most mature, romantic pairings I think I've ever seen, and that's why I can't wait for each new episode to air so I can revel in their wonderful love story.

I know, I'm a sap, but I don't care. ;)

I started out all jate, cos I think that's what tptb were originally intending, and since I've never shipped before I usually just go along with what they tell me to feel. Somewhere between the 2 Sawyer episodes, I started to notice skate. But again, I think tptb were starting to lead us there around then too.

I think I lost all my jateness in Whatever the case may be, when Jack yelled at Kate and made her cry, then didn't hug her or even TRY to make it better. I never forgave him for that. That's also when the Jack-hate started. By end of season 1 I was all for skate, and kinda forgot jate existed. Then I came online, and I think everyone's had the same story since then.

So long story short, season 1.

On a side note, I'm hopeless with noticing things like chemistry, or even how hot guys on tv are, etc. Sawyer and skate are the first times I've felt that. I'll never forget that feeling I got in Outlaws where Sawyer's staring down the boar and there's that close-up on him... roarr.
Actually, I think that might have been the exact moment my skate love began.

Little did I know.;) Then came the "Confidence Man" episode. The Kiss did it for me. I was hooked. From that moment on I became completely fixated on Sawye and Kate's scenes together. I really loved them together in "Solitary" as well. That's the episode where Kate say's, "One outcast to another," and he gives her that.....look.:love: Then when they are all playing golf later on, she sticks up for Sawyer and he gives her that relieved look, and she smiles. I loved the two of them in that episode. Pure Skate! Gosh I loved season 1! Does anyone agree with me about these episodes?:banana:

Outlaws, with the I Never scene. When Sawyer said that the only reason she was there was to spend with the only other person on the island who didn't quite fit in (I think that was Outlaws anyway).

I'd got that Jate was gonna be the couple before this, wasn't ecstatic about it because I really didn't like Jack, he was full of himself and all heroic (heroes really don't do it for me) and whiny. But I really liked Kate, thought it was a brilliant twist to have her as the fugitive, so I was happy to go with it.

So when Sawyer said that to her, I just kinda went "huh?" I hadn't seen anything between them before, Sawyer was just a bit of a creep, hot, but otherwise not appealing in any way. But after that, the rest of that scene and the rest of that episode completely sold me on Skate, they had such amazing chemistry and fit together really well.

I couldn't agree more with you about those episodes, those were, and still are, some of my favorite Skate scenes in the entire show as well. ;) Yeah, us Skaters gotta love season 1. :giggle: Not only did they give us those great Skate moments you menchened, but they also gave us more wonderful Skate scenes in Outlaws, BTR, WTCMB, ect... and all the other awesome small moments in between. :D And so far the scenes have only gotten better, IMO, and let hope they continue to stay that way. :love:

Fell in love with skate at the initial recognition that those two have something, even an inkling of something, for eachother. Don't know how it happened, but.. just when we started to realize Sawyer was sort of after Kate I said "they must hook up/get together."

I love Jack, I really do, but Sawyer deserves Kate. He just.. does.

For me it was during WTCMB, which was also the first episode of Lost I ever saw. I remember finding the show ok but not interesting enough to tune in again; but on the other hand, I was also very interested by the dynamics between the hot jerky guy and the leading girl (the way they were rolling on the floor and straddling each other was so full of raw chemistry that it made me blush and think WOW). But, the reason I didn't decide to tune in every week was because it was so obvious that Kate and Jack would be THE couple, and since what hooked me was the relationship between these two "criminals", I thought it would be a waste of time to watch a show where the main ship I was interested in would never happen.

Then, some weeks later I tuned in again (it was the last episode of season one), and when I saw how they looked for each other before leaving, and how much they were sad about not being able to say goodbye, I realized that this couple wasn't just a road block for Kate and Jack, but actually real and CANON. After this, I absolutely had to download the episodes (and then buy the dvds when they came out) so I could see the SKATE scenes again and again and again and againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Hoenstly I cant remember O.o I do remember loving Sawyer from (Im not sure witch episode aired first) either the moth, where I felt sooo bad for him, when Kate was acting like...well a bitch or the episode where he tries to kill the police man to quit his suffering. But he misses, and you can really se in the way his behaving how mutch it got to him (not beeing able to light his sigarett). I remember thinking "aaawh" when they where looking for eachother, and I were never a jater. I thought the kiss was really hot to, I just dont remember when i started to ship. When I read that Sawyer would try to get Kate to kiss him in Confidence Man in our TV guide I got all ecxited and after watching it, I was sure that Skate was the couple on Lost. I got really obsessed with Skate (like reading loads of fanfics, discovering this forum etc.) between season 1 and 2, because I wanted Sawyer to return to the island and to Kate so badly! And ever since I call myself a Skater. :D

Definitely season 1... although I have to admit that I didn't really like sawyer during the first few episodes.. I remember watching the CM promo on TV and me and my parents were like "wtf?? she kisses sawyer?? what the hell's wrong with that girl??" because we didn't know the circumstances yet... and than there was the kiss and the first time you really knew something about sawyer... that he's not just a mean person but somebody with a troubled childhood and a heart... and the kiss just blew me away, it was soo HOT!! It definitely made me a skater and WTCMB and Outlaws amplified this opinion even more...
when I watch the first 7 episodes of s1 now, I absolutely can't understand what I didn't like about sawyer in the first place but well... nobody's perfect :D

So, after a while I really liked Sawyer - Kate too of corse, but I didn't think of them as a couple at that time. Sure, there were some very sweet scenes, where I began to ship them - the waterfall, I-never, or the there-ain't-anything-on-this-island-worth-staying-for scene :love:

At the end of season one I was like "Aww Kate and Sawyer are so cute, maybe they really love each other, I want them to be together".
And since the end of season1 / beginning of season2 I am skate obsessed - Omg, I wanted Sawyer to come back so badly :D

Toward the end of season two. I used to be a Jater. I refer to that as my dark period. By the time Jack almost let the others shoot Kate and shunned her for following him to the other side of the island, I was through with him. I still wasn't a skater until I'd bought the second season on DVD and realized how perfect they were for each other. Just two outsiders who finally fit in with each other.

I always preferred Kate with Sawyer but I felt the writers were all over the place with the love triangle so I did not ship either couple.I never saw much chemistry with Jate.It was there with Skate however.I almost started shipping after Colision because of the Kate comforting Sawyer scenes but after the LC and SOS I was confused.I had shipped Spike and Buffy and that was a very painful ship so I did not want to go there again.Anyway, after ATOTC this season I knew it was Skate all the way.That epiosde was so Skate shippy I was in shock because I was totally unspoiled.After that I found this forum and found out about future Skate bliss and I have been a Skate addict ever since.I have rewatched season 1 and 2 watching all the Skate scenes knowing what will happen and I am loving it.They are the most dynamic couple on TV now.

I actually missed the whole first season and started watching half way into the second season! I didn't even know it was a show! I was living in Utah in a tiny little town and we had nothing to do, so a whole bunch of young 18-21 year old married couples got together one night, they borrowed the first season from one of their parents and we watched for almost 7 hours straight! I became addicted then to the show and started shipping Kate and Sawyer pretty much straight off the bat. I never liked the idea of Jack and Kate... I think Skaters and Jaters definitely have different personality types and are attracted to different character types. I happend to be one of the girls out there that loved the southern, bad boy- dated one mahself! :rolleyes: So go Skate!

This is the first time I've ever shipped a TV couple. It started when I saw Sawyer grab Kate after he killed the polar bear, I said "THAT SHOULD BE THE COUPLE". Of course, I could see they were trying to sell Kate/Jack, but they didn't do it for me. During the kiss in CM, that's when I became a Skater, it was so obvious they were already starting to have feelings for each other. And god, it was the HOTTEST KISS EVER ON TV!!:thud: I think the writer's and actor's have done a brilliant job of bringing such an epic romance quality to Skate on the show.:w00t:

I started shipping Skate during Season 1 but I don’t know exactly which episode made me a Skater. But I know that I didn’t want Sawyer to leave on the raft because I didn’t want him to be away from Kate. Sawyer became my favourite character after Confidence Man and I always enjoyed his scenes with Kate.

When lost began it seemed like they were going for Jate, with Kate & jack meeting first and all. but when they started showing sawyer and the connection between sawyer and kate, i was kind of "multishipper", i didn´t care if it was jate or skate, both would´ve been fine. But I hated kate´s rudeness towards sawyer, like she was better than him thou she´s just like him, and I felt bad for sawyer who from the very beginning just tried to be the tough guy who wanted everyone to hate him but couldn´t be the "hated" guy for kate :giggle: Also started to dislike jacks attitude in season 2 towards kate, especially after she kissed him he totally ignored her. Until season 2 ended I was kind of like jate/skate no difference both will do, but season 3 totally turned me over to skate. sawyer had totally lost his rudeness :rotflol: He was so sweet and worried about kate and the kiss in episonde 2 was just ... best kiss ever on lost :giggle: So I´d have to say that thou I´ve liked skate all the time, i "became a skater" in season 3 :)

That's the same with me, actually. I mean, by the first season, I ended up shipping them madly, but at first I was a little put off by Sawyer's attitude (and I have nooo idea why because bad boys?=:love: lol). Anyway, I've mostly been a full-blown shipper all 3 seasons, so I'm proud of that :w00t: I could still watch the first 2 eps or so to this day and love Jack/Kate as a pairing back then, but ONLY back then because soon Jack annoyed me so much that I couldn't stand the thought of them together.. and come on, SAWYER! lol :giggle:

I actually think they did have some chemistry. I think Jack's a good guy and all. He puts others first and I'm sure he cares about Kate. He may even love her, and I think she loved him at one point. They just weren't right for each other, and she doesn't love him any more IMO.

But she's an outsider and she can't hide that. Sawyer is one, too. They don't have to change who they are when they're together. There's nothing fake about Skate.

I just think there are actors who spark together & one's who don't & it is actually quite rare to find a great connection btw 2 actors on TV , you can't force or create chemistry, it just has to exist naturally, & JH & EL have loads of it! :p

The story btw Skate is just better also, because as much as we love the "hero" to get the girl so to speak, Skate are both loner's & outsider's who have never really fit in anywhere, which makes them finding each other the way they have that much more amazing:)

HEART= she FEELS this connection & growing love for Sawyer, which she has been fighting because he is the type of guy she has grown up believing will only hurt her & he is an outsider like her, something she has never wanted to be!;)
I believe I DO FB was meant to show us that no matter how hard she tried with Kevin, that was NOT who she was in her HEART & she knew it could not make her happy & fulfilled for long.
Then on island time we see that with Sawyer in nothing more than a dirty cage with nothing domestic or comfortable around her, she has finally found in Sawyer's arms the acceptance & unconditional love she has been searching for!;)

They do have chemistry. They have fantastic "we're a great team, great friends" chemistry. Romantic chemistry..not so much. Obviously, everyone in the free world that watches Lost, and paricularily in the beginning, noticed what the writers were trying to do. Just because the writers were obviously trying to tell the audience something about, doesnt' mean I'm going to buy it. The opposite actually. If you have to try so hard to get the audience behind this couple in the beginning, (and what was the rush anyways), then I'm thinking something is missing. If they work well together chemistry and story wise then let it happen naturally, and I never felt that way about Jack and Kate.

For me Sawyer being the salty guy who has been through so much (parents being killed when eight, killing another guy etc...) seemed to understand Kate and suit her character more. I think that their constant flirtations in season one as well as their kiss in "Confidence Man" made me a Skater pretty much immediately.

S1 for sure, I saw chemistry since the pilot and I already kind of root for them in the moment Sawyer pulled Kate closer and act sexy as hell (I'm a shipper whore, I have to ship everything so it helps me to find possibly ships since day one). The kiss made me weak in the knees and officially a shipper, in Outlaws I realize they had more substance than JK. Born to Run/Exodus made me sure they had feelings for each other and the writers wouldn't make me think otherwise even if they paired JK.

Season 1.It was the pilot episode 2,and she said "So you decided to join us'" and he said "I am a complex guy sweetheart" (Smt like that :) ) and that moment made ma a Skater.IMO Jate was really forced in the beginning,she was always looking for him,shouting "Jack" and she kept following him.He was constantly worried about her,smiling...And it was extremely boring to me... :)
Then when Sawyer came...I realized "it was it".They were born for each other,and I was so happy to see how their relationship has grown.Because I recently watched the first 5 episodes,and they have hardly had any love type connection as J/K did...Plus,Kate treated him real bad in the fist few episodes... :( I guess when the producers realized the chemistry between Sawyer and Kate they have decided to definetely go with Skate... :)

I think I may be an oddity in the Skater community, in that I shipped Jate for just about half of season one. It was in episode seven, "The Moth", that I really began to love Sawyer. There the poor man was, doing anything to spend time with Kate, and going so far as to not tell her the hero Jack had been trapped in a cave-in.

Then, as we all know, came "Confidence Man", which solidified my love for the misunderstood bad boy. It also had the hottest kiss in TV history, which helped.

The final straw against Jack was "Whatever the Case May Be." Jack made a total ass out of himself and made Kate cry. We don't make Kate cry. It's rude.

I hated Jack and even Kate didn't deserve to be stuck with him. However I feared that was the direction they were going to go with it, and gave up. I always felt that Sawyer was better for her, and not just cause he was prettier. When he grabbed her and told her he'd been with girls like her... well it sealed my opinion.

So I lost interest. A little over a year later, I had nothing to do and turned my tv on, the only thing on was Lost, so I figured I'd give it another try. The episode that aired... What Kate Did. I was absolutely elated, ran out to the local blockbuster and rented the entire first season.

So when I became a skater... I was from the get go.

I voted for Season 1. I was intrigued in The Moth, when Sawyer went to find Kate and tell her about Jack and how he hesitated when she shot him down, and I started to see that he wasnt the person he wanted everyone to think he was.

Confidence had me hook line and sinker. :D

The jate flirty stuff was boring to me before that. I had no interest in them. Just seemed like your typical hero gets heroine pairing. But Skate changed the rules, and I wanted to see more of them after CM. Especially after that kiss. ;)

As for me...heh. I'm totally oblivious to these sorts of things under the best of circumstances, so my journey went something like this:

Pilot: "Jack and Kate are so cute together. How does anyone ship her with Sawyer?"

Somewhere around Confidence Man: "...Oh. That's how. Now if only Jack and Sawyer could get over themselves and learn to share already."

Left Behind: "Did he just...oh, no, Jack, you heartless son of a bitch. That's it, I can't ship you with Kate anymore in good conscience."

(Though keep in mind that I'm hardly an original-recipe S1 Skater—I only started watching the show in the first place this March, and that only because I heard Rodrigo Santoro's character was getting a centric episode; see, Nikki and Paulo were good for something after all! Then I figured I'd best catch up so I'd understand it, and I plowed through everything up to The Man From Tallahassee over spring break, so I got to smack myself in the face with the Skatey goodness all at once. In pilot i thought it gotta be Jate. After that I watched
the show randomly in which my ramdom episodes were not
centric episodes of Kate, Sawyer ,Locke and Boone (how sad!
I missed their first kiss in CM, their tackles in WTCMB and 'I never' in Outlaw).
And when i watched exodus, i don't want him to be on that raft and
be away from Kate.
However, I still thought it gonna end up with Jate. so boring....

I kinda forgot about this show until
one day a friend of mine talked about Lost and he said he surprised that
Kate liked someone else apart from jack. I kept asking him who ???
(My mind pray it's sawyer) and he said it's Sawyer (yeah).

So I ran to buy S1 and S2 dvd....watch skate scences over and over again.
Especially skate scences in S1 are very touching, for season2 they're more relax , friendship, we're team kinda that. Oh..I love them very much.

Wow, I remember seeing that promo for the first time at the cinema - the best place to see my first glimpse of Lost by the way, and I too not only knew that I'd just have to watch when it aired, but also preffered Kate dancing with Sawyer (of course I didn't know their names then but whatever) Even in the promo the chemistry is undeniable.
And then of course as soon as Pilot part 2 rolled around my opinions were set in stone, and don't show any signs of changing - skate is love.

When Sawyer pulled Kate closer to him and said, "I've been with girls like you," I officially took notice of Skate. Up to that point I figured it would be Jack and Kate and didn't find them that interesting. It was such a typical set-up.

When the kiss in Confidence Man happened I nearly fell out of my chair--what a kiss!!--and she responded to it! I started getting excited about Skate. Then the I never scene happened and I really was hooked from that point on, though I never thought the writers would really put them together because everybody knows "the hero" and "the heroine" get together, not anyone else.

At the end of S2 when all the talk started about Kate making her choice, I wanted it to be Sawyer SO BAD, but figured it would be Jack. Needless to say, when S3 started and it was pretty obvious she was going to pick Sawyer, I was delighted.

Now, let's just keep praying they keep them together (which I think they will) because Skate has grown and has some depth to it and I can't see Jate happening ever because that has to be one of the poorest excuses for a relationship EVER!
