Not this season, and maybe not even during the series - we're only having 6 or so seasons, which won't even take us up to year. Depends if they work out their issues and whether or not Claire's ready to trust a guy again...........

I just don't see the lost producers having cex when they have the possibility of skex (or jex depending on your opinion) im not saying it wouldnt be as 'good' viewing but i think c/c have a different sort of relationship to s/k or j/k (perhaps more traditional, caring romance than the slightly more lust and passionate s/k / j/k)
especially with claire having a baby son, i just don't think that they are in a place now (or will be anytime soon) where it would be suitable for them to have sex.
im very open to more public displays of affection though! :D

Honestly, I hope they do. They probably won't this season, or maybe even the one after, but I'm praying that they eventually do. I can't tell you how sick I am of Charlie and Claire being stereotyped as "the cute and innocent couple". Yes, they're not as firey as Sawyer and Kate may be, but I think it's safe to say that they have very strong feelings for each other that go beyond sharing cute smiles and a jar of peanutbutter. There has to be more to their relationship than that, and I personally am looking forward to some more passion in their relationship, whenever we might see it. Even if it won't be soon, I hope we get to see some passion between them in the future. Maybe then, people will stop bashing our ship and calling it a waste of viewing time or whatever.:(

I agree with you there. Charlie/Claire is very different than Jate or Skate, and I don't think the CC relationship will ever be based on lust, but I'm hoping that they move past hand-holding and general PDA sometime. It won't be right away, that's for sure, and it will take time, but bottom-line, I just want them to advance more in that level of their relationship. *shrug*

yer i get what you meen but s/k is just pure lust anyway. not something that could last. i would rather wait for realy love like jate and have the sex later. i think c/c will have it but later when everything is sorted out

I think they will probably get married first. Charlie's a Catholic..they have a church and a priest. Claire's been baptized..why not? :D Not for a while though. Claire has to be sure Charlie is completely clean and Charlie has to be sure Claire won't hit him again...(kidding..just kidding. He deserved it)

I have this strange idea of them getting married but in some extreme convuluted contrived extreme circumstance...maybe where one thinks the other is dying and they do a 'deathbed' wedding only to have the sick one survive...and they are married and its all akward ...but eventually it works out. It would save Claire from the single girl has sex and dies 'curse'.

well, think about it. C/C has this air of innocense and 'rebirth' if you will, of the characters which, in my opinion is sorely needed in the show. It might be better idea to not have them 'do it' during the series. It might wreck the air of innocense if they do.

I think it would be interesting to see them take a more traditional route. With Claire having been baptised, it would be interesting to see them go through the sacraments. I can defenetly see a reconciliation between them soon, and then maybe symbolically work their way up to a marriage.
I don't mean a full on, "will you marry me/I do" kind of thing. Just them announcing their bond in a deep way. Although, knowing the writers we are probably going to get nothing but angst...

As much as it would be great, I don't think they'll have sex. Claire might not be ready to after having given birth to Aaron not long ago. And alot of doctors suggest not having sex until after the postnatal checkup which is usually 6 weeks after giving birth. And from there it's up to the woman to decide if she's ready to.

But of course Claire won't have a prenatal checkup at 6 weeks with being on the island and all. And if I'm not mistaken, it's already been 4-5 weeks island time since Aaron has been born.

So who knows. But whatever happens I think Claire would be the frist to make the move since she did with the kiss and all.

I voted that they will do it. But eventually..maybe in the last few episodes when they finally have everything sorted out. I think that, before and if they do, they should talk about it. To make sure that they're both okay with it and all..I don't know what I'm talking about, but I think that'd be, honestly, that's the best thing for them.

They've had a lot of troubles in the past, like Claire finding out about the statue and Charlie kidnapping Aaron. They just need to talk about those things, get them sorted out, and then go for it. They need to move on with their lives together on the island.

I hope they do, but not too soon. They need to become comfortable with each other. <3 We can only hope, right?

Well, I've recently become a PBjer, always liked them but never really shipped them until the end of season 2 (better late than never!) and to be honest, I don't want them to have sex. Don't get me wrong they'll make a really sweet couple and I want more kisses, holding hands etc. but for me that's it. They're far too innocent to me, if they had sex it would sort of tarnish their cuteness, sorry I don't really know how else to put it! Besides if the writers have everyone hooking up this season the non-shippers who watch the show (yes there are some! hehe) would get annoyed and the whole "it's turning into a soap" comments would arise. However there is going to be more romance this season and I'm sure this will include Charlie and Claire however I don't think they'll be the ones having sex...I have a feeling it'll probably be Jack and Kate. Let's just hope she doesn't get killed off!
