Not sure this is the best spot for this, but...
Check it out-
I sculpt action figures for a living.
Though I'm not a huge LOST fan (6 Feet Under for me) I think Evangeline Lilly has such an interesting face- a very unusual beauty- I decided to do a sculpture of her as Kate (looking somewhat worried of course). Though there is a body, these are just pictures of the head- the rest of her will take some time as I'm doing it on the side.
Sorry, this sculpture will NOT be released, but I thought it might interest you all the same.

I have to say that is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't believe how you captured every detail even the small things such as the lines on her neck, her nose, her worried expression. Are you thinking of doing any more sculptures of the rest of the Lost cast?

Hey, thanks everyone!
Yeah, these sculptures do take a while...
A full figure like the stuff on my site (guess I forgot to put up a link, so: http://www.adambeane.com/ ) generally takes about 120 hours. Just a portrait may take only 20 hours, but the hair was sort of a challange. Couldn't really tell you how long I had in this one.
This is the first thing that I have ever sculpted that wasn't for a company- this was sort of to promote my sculpting and, well... I really think Evangeline has a fascinating face. Very complex and challenging to capture.
Maybe when it's finished I will put up some more pictures of it.
Cheers!
Adam
