Who should be the next Wonder Woman? We asked you to vote and send in your suggestions and you did. Overwhelmingly, many of you think “Tomb Raider” Angelina Jolie should pick up the golden lariat, but you also had some other great suggestions...

Lauren Graham from “Gilmore Girls” would be my first choice. She's got a spark and sharpness that would match Joss Whedon's style. Evangeline Lilly would be my second choice. Please Mr. Whedon, please NO JENNIFER GARNER. I can't even stand to watch her on TV, stiff, no charisma, no wit.

I can see her as wonder woman, yes, but I don't think that would be the best choice for her first movie role. I mean, Jenifer Garner got the part of Elektra, and now she's typecast for life, badass girl, comic book star. I dunno, I just wouldn't think that would be a good idea for a star who has not yet established her style in movies and whatnot.

i agree w/ you FierceDesea, angelina jolie would make a wonderful wonder woman. shes a little more voluptuous, maybe fill out the costume a little more. she really is very very......attractive.

evangeline would probably be good as wonder woman though (shes alsoo very attractive), unfortunately yes, it might lead to typcasting. but id still love to see her do it

I could definitely picture Evie as Wonder Woman.....but it would be sad if she became typecast like Jennifer Garner has.

Angelina Jolie would also be an excellent choice. :D

I also think Ian would be the perfect Superman, if they ever get that movie made.....MUCH better than Nicholas Cage, that's for sure!!! :p

They have been trying to get this movie made for years now....not sure what the holdup is right now, but the project has switched hands many times. At one point they were looking at Nicholas Cage for the role, but I think the producers decided against it. Nothing against Nic but....I just don't see him as Superman. No way.

Ian has the right "look" and as an actor, I could see him playing the dual role of Clark/Superman very well. He could be shy, quiet and unassuming.....or tough and kickass as the Man of Steel!!! And those eyes....:lotsalove:

Ian would do okay as Superman... not my number one pick though.

Yeah, she would get typecast. and also, I agre with "the filthy scene" in that Angelina is more voluptuous, and that's probably going to be a factor when it comes to casting. Angelina would be great tho! But I dunno if she would do that project. Comic book movies have become a second rate hollywood thing(spiderman aside, I'm thinking Daredevil, elektra), and I don't think Angelina would go for that, and if Evey was smart, she wouldn't either.
Granted, it would get her famous, but I don't think that's really what she's looking for.

I agree about Jennifer Garner - she's a non-charismatic twit if anything. Especially when compared to Lauren Graham and Evangeline Lilly.
(my disclamer: I have nothing against Jennifer Garner as a person - I don't know her - personally I don't like her acting style, others may.)

I don't think Angelina would be right for the role, Wonder Woman is a little more 'wholesome' then Angie would be good for. Lauren G. is just too damned old for the role. Evi I think would fit it like a glove, being good at being sexy, strong, & having strong morals. J. Lo would be AWFUL, as would SMG (just wouldn't fit her. Mischa Barton physically could pull it off but I just can't picture her as an action character. Jessica Biel? Nah, I don't see that either.

What about Selma Blair? I think Joss is gonna look for someone a little less known for the role, he seems to do well with unknowns. I could have seen Teri Hatcher doing it a few years back, but I dunno about now.

How is playing Wonder Woman dorky?
Evangenile Lilly is a good actress.......but Angelina Jolie is better in some aspects I think........much more experience. As for the role one of them should play it.........depending on the writers....it will be dorky :confused:
