Since that other thread's closed, I'll just post here.

I haven't really seen enough subtext for that pairing. Which is weird, because I'm generally a fan of extremely crack-pairings.. But I dunno. There's just not enough of it for me to like it.

And hey, check out YouTube. I've seen a couple of videos there.

Yay! I love Kate/Claire :) I call 'em 'Kaire' (see my sig). I love their scene's together, Evie and Emilie have great chemistry together and should defenetly have more scene's together.

Here are some noteworthy Kaire moments:
White Rabbit -- Kate and Claire first meet and bond while folding clothes. Claire offers to do Kate's chart ;) Later, when Claire passes out, Kate comforts her and looks after her.
Homecoming -- After Jack takes Ethan down, Kate runs over and hugs Claire.
Do No Harm -- Kate stumbles on Claire going into labour. She promises that she will not leave her side. She later comforts Claire and promises to help her with the baby, and says that she is not alone. She eventually delivers the baby and has her arm around her when they walk into camp.
Fire + Water -- Kate and Claire hang out in Claire's tent. When Charlie comes to talk to Claire, Kate pushes him away. Later, when Claire gets Aaron back, Kate hugs her and they walk up the beach together.
Maternity Leave (or, the greatest Kaire episode EVER) -- Kate protects Claire from Danielle, comforts her over Aaron being sick, agrees to go treking with her into the jungle, puts her arm around her when she is worried about leaving Aaron, goes trekking together, pulls her gun on Danielle when she attacks Claire, Kate goes running after Claire when she wanders off, open the hatch door together, helps Claire lift the medicine box and returns to camp with her.

Hopefully season three will give us heaps more moments! Could someone re-title this thread 'Kate/Claire - Kaire' or something to make it look a little neater? Or maybe we should get a less creepy thread opener :p

Love Kate and Claire together. It's my favorite slash ship! When Kate protects Claire from Danielle (I think she was saying "You won't touch her!") I was squeeing so freaking much. I know they're just "good friends", but if there were ever to be a slash couple on the show, I hope it will be them. :)

And yes...we should definatley ask a mod to let us start a better thread. :shifty:

Now that I've got that highly eloquent and well-thought-out request out of the way, I love Kaire. I don't think there's nearly enough subtext to be listing "moments" and pretending that folding clothes equals lurv, but I still love it because they're pretty and hot and friends. ^_^

I do hope that they have some more distinctly shippy moments, despite the fact that I very strongly love both PB&J and Skate. Because everyone needs a little lesbian lovin' on the side. ^_^

Plus, again, it's cute how protective Kate can be...

Yeah, this should probably focus more on the Kaire friendship, which is very sweet and nice aspect of the show. Kate, the murderer and fugitive and Claire, the girl forced to be a mother. Both very different and it's sweet to see an unlikely friendship and caring for one another.

Kate is so protective towards Claire and Aaron - funny for a person on the run from the cops, eh? :D

My favourite Claire/Kate moment is that in Fire + Water when Charlie comes to tell Claire that she must baptise the baby and Kate pushes him away.

She's so protective n' cares so much about Claire. Have you realized that part on...I think it was Fire + Water....where Claire tried to baptise the Baby, took away Aaron from his mum without her knowing...she searched for the Baby n' found Charlie with Aaron on the Beach....slapped him :o ....it's that moment where Kate stands beside her n' gives that look to Charlie..hugs Claire. This was very sweet. Anyone noticed some other moments too?

I also loved that moment where Ethan tried to catch Claire in the Jungle, Kate was huging her when she was afraid, looked after her n' really cared. :)
