I'm working on getting them, Pat. There's a poster on Live Journal who said she will give us 7 & 8 when she has time to upload them. I don't think she has the unaired episodes though. You do have 9, right?

Sorry for the double post, but I just received a new Haunted link; I'm downloading it right now! :) Simon Redux is the episode and it's #8.

What city does Haunted take place?I think it's LA; remember the Bird Man in Blind Witness? Doesn't he say, "well that's something you'd only see in LA" or something like that? I know he is originally from NY - Brooklyn or the Bronx, he says that in Abby; Abby says to Frank, oh you carry a hanky, you must be from the South, and he says , only if you can count South Brooklyn (or the Bronx?). And in Last Call we learned his daddy was also a cop.

Yeah, get him in bed quick. This man definitely needs to release some tension. :)

It's Los Angeles for sure. In one of the episodes you can see the towers of The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and the streets around. The hotel is located in downtown L.A., and I was there twice. So, I'm very sure of that.

Michelle, it's a big file, so it will probably be about 3 hours at least. It's over 250 MB, compared to the avg size of 160-180. But I'll get it done. :)

Lauren, the one before this is completely unrelated, except for a single comment in the episode. You can watch it without missing anything; I've read the scripts and I think you'll probably like this one better (except for the fact Frank is in bed a lot in the preceding episode; uh well, actually tied to a bed a lot).

ETA: Just make sure and grab it while you can, even if you wait to watch.

ok that eppy actually made me cry... when jess was holding nick and frank was getting arrested my eyes started to get watery and i started crying, frank was just trying ot protect her! and gosh she wasnt seeing it.. and hahah whit i agree that part where frank said "u pissed' was so funny! he's so cute!
I know about Jess! Man, how could she ever divorce that sweet, unbelievably sexy, sexy man. But at the end, she was all in his arms, helpless. I kind of hoped they would get back together, but then we wouldn't have Whit and Frank ... gee, what the heck is the abbreviation for that!

The Billie Joe part was so funny; I loved Marcus chasing Frank out of the bar... :)

The kissing of Jess actually reminded me of when Jack brought Charlie back and was holding him. He's so protective and happy he's got them safe and sound and holding them tight in his huge, manly arms!

And this is a question for ebs, who knows absolutely everything about this kind of things: I downloaded for 3 times the last epi of Haunted (Simon Redux). And the 3 times it's the same: download stops after 120/128 MB and the message said it's complete, but it's not. I can see the first half (until Frank goes to Jessica's place and fight with Nick/Simon by the pool). Any idea about what's happening with this?. Thanks in advance.

This file is over 250 MB. That's strange.

Since I'm having a similar problem with #10, it may be YSI that is fouling up. If other people have the same problem, I'll upload it again. Anyone having similar problems to Pat?
ETA: I've learned the problem with #10 is the original file doesn't have a few scenes on it, so it's not the same problem. Sorry Pat.

Yeah sorry about that. I tried EVERYTHING to get that first ten minutes to work and NOTHING would do it. It plays fine on my DVD player but I could not get the first ten minutes to either play or convert on my computer. I worked for two days trying to get it to work and still, nothing. So I had to lose that first section.

On the YSI links, a bunch of us have had problems with large files the past few days. Our experience is that if the file is downloading very slowly, it generally doesn't complete the file. Firefox and Opera seem to do better than IE in grabbing at least part of the file.

BTW -- for everyone who was having problems with YouSendIt last week, get this. I'm thinking the recent problems we are all experiencing are intentional. I downloaded a YSI file today and noticed that you can now PAY to get an aborted download. HMMMMM. Sound like they want to turn this into a paying service, sort of like Rapidshare does premium accounts. It was 99 cents per recovered download. Just thought I'd mention it. :)

ETA: Just watched it; it was great! I did think the show was a little too scary and he said they intended it to be the scariest show on TV! Well, they probably achieved that, I think! Thanks again, Cheshire. :)

Yeah it is him, he does lots of small bits like that, as well as directs. A lot of sci-fi stuff in particular. Been on Stargate and tons of other ones. Plus he was on that underwater show many years ago.

When I bought the Party Of Five dvd off of Walmart.com it was $30 and now its $45. They raised it up because a ton of people are now buying it because of Foxy!! :D So you might wanna look elsewhere for a better price, but it is worth buying Party of Five and now if only they would come out with the rest of POF on dvd and be kind enough to come out with Haunted on dvd...then all would be right in the world!! lol :D

I think I'm going to get rid of all my Lost episodes on my computer :( (well, because I have the DVDs now... it just means I won't be able to make Lost vids) and just download as many Haunted episodes as I can, because I'm dying for Frankie. Hey, if I died, he'd still be able to see me. Okay, I'm done being weird now. Anyway...

It took me awhile to find emule for my mac, but I have it now..... wow, downloading is slow but its so worth it. Have you found any episodes from seasons 2 and 5? I haven't been able to find any.

The Ebay offer seems interesting but sincerely... 16 DVDs for 5 seasons CAN'T BE anywhere near good quality. NOT for made at home DVDs. Specially if the audio and video is from VHS original which we know they are. If I were rich I would give it a shot. Too bad I am not.

He/She mentions ALL episodes as if 5 seasons were all there was. POF actually had 6 seasons. This small detail leads me to think the seller isn't a fan. Probably someone that bought (maybe on Ebay) the VHS tapes from a fan that didn't care for the show anymore and then converted them to DVD. The original VHS tapes MOST probably were recorded in the EP mode (that allows the tape to record 6 hours). 99,9% of fans record in EP mode instead of using the SP mode that gives MUCH better quality. And quality is fundamental when you will be making copies og your recordings, either to another VHS or to DVD.

Too bad I didn't win the lottery. :cool:

Do you know if You Send It is having trouble these days ? I can't get the Charlie Wedding clip to work... nor this new one... I click on the links and they send me to the You Send It page but the link to download never shows up. I've been able to download easiy at YSI before. :o I have these episodes but I was wondering why YSI won't work for me anymore.

i'm really happy i posted clips from a couple of eps you miss, hope to be useful again in the future.
about YSI, actually i HATE it, it's slow for uploads and i often have problems with downloads too, so i usually prefer rapidshare... but, don't know why, it seems that many people have even more problems with RS, so i'm forced to use YSI.
anyway, i've just checked my new links and they seem to work...
fortunately you have already those scenes, if somebody else has problems i'll re-upload them.

try downloading at night if you can, that seems to be the best time.

I don't know what "take the audio" means :confused:... and I can't edit a .wmv file, I use a mac.

Ches, this maybe sounds crazy but can you divide or part the files in 2?. I can't download the entire files but I remember that someone did it once, putting an epi in 2 or 3 parts, and no more troubles with the downloading. I'm trying to download ep. 8 & 9 since yesterday from your links and it's impossible. I only got the first half or less of each file.

I can't edit .wmv files. I have a mac and the program I have only allows me to edit .avi or .mpg formats:computer: ... I *really* wish I could edit the files, I want screen-caps of billie-joe & foxy for my website.

Right now, I'm trying to upload episode 7 thru filefactory.com. I've never used it before but someone recommended to me.... so if it works, I'll reupload 10 & 11 that way. Now lets just hope it works, cross your fingers!!!

That new site filefactory.com is a little slow but it works very well. You can download anything without problems. YSI is the worse site I've ever seen lately. It doesn't work at all.

And Ches, thanks for the epi of POF. My very first episode of POF. I've just watched it and I loved it. How could I miss this show?. What a pity!. Charlie's character is perfec for Matthew. Nice guy.

Okay you know the episode I really need -- it's episode 409 called "Truth Be Told", if anyone has that and can upload it(or even arrange for an AIM download)--I'd be greatful. I've got the episode with Julia's wedding just before it and I have the episode after it(410 "Adjustments") but I'm missing that episode and it's an important one, where Charlie tells his family about his illness.

I'd upload those eps myself for other people here to see but unfortunately I can't, someone put them on a DVD for me and unfortunately that DVD does not work on my computer. I can't even open it up to pull off the files. :( I had hoped I could share them here but unfortunately I can't. I'd still be really greatful if someone who has "Truth Be Told" could allow me to download it though. :)

Do you wait a few seconds? Filefactory is like rapidshare, as in it counts down and then the link shows up....

also maybe you should try another browser. With filefactory I can only upload files thru firefox... it's weird.

Strange is that I signed up at Amazon and that site about TV shows on DVD askign to be alerted for any Party fo Five news and neither one sent me an e-mail. Weird.

I hardly believe my eyes... after waiting so long, I had lost hope of Party of Five coming out. :D

Now I need to find someone traveling to the US and coming back to Rio to ask him to bring the box set for me. I've given up on ordering via mail. This year alone 14 DVDs that were sent to me from the US and one box sent from Japan were stolen in the Brazilian postal service ! :(

Anyone from the US coming to Rio ??? ;)

about YSI, actually i HATE it, it's slow for uploads and i often have problems with downloads too, so i usually prefer rapidshare... but, don't know why, it seems that many people have even more problems with RS, so i'm forced to use YSI.
anyway, i've just checked my new links and they seem to work...
