I watched the Launch of the CW network the other day. They didn't have to much VM stuff, they showed a few scenes one of Veronica and Piz and another with Veronica, Mac and Parker going into a bar.

Kristen walked around the new library set, the Mars apartment and Veronica's room. She writes her lines on all the paper and notebooks that she has lying around. lol

They interviewed Jason too, they asked him about LoVe and Piz and he pretty much said the same thing. That Piz is everything Logan is not, nice, friendly and happy.

I just want to say I LOOOOVVVEEEEE Veronica Mars, and I watched season 1 in the summer of '05 when it aired on CTV here in Canada, and then they never aired season 2 which totally bummed nme out, but I bought season 2 on dvd in the begining of September and I watched all of season 2 in like 5 days I loved season 2 it was awesome.
And now I get the new CW so I will be able to watch season 3 :w00t: I am so glad Mac is a regular I love her!

09/15 - Collage of spoilers revealed in an episode 3.01 review: The premiere starts us out right in the thick of things as we see Veronica on her first day at Hearst College. None of the friends we've come to know have left for other colleges, and we're introduced to new characters who're roommates of those staying on campus. Veronica wastes no time making herself (and her skills) known to the people on campus, and in typical Veronica fashion, she doesn't really care so much what they think of her. The first mystery is clearly identified in the first episode, with possibly a teaser at another at episode end. One new character we meet is Piz, Wallace's roommate. Besides Wallace, some other characters we see reappear in the premiere are Vinnie Van Lowe, Mac, Logan and Dick. Here's an interesting tidbit that I'm not sure was ever really implied before: Veronica and Logan are clearly having sex now. They're very much a couple, though Veronica may not fully feel the same way about that as Logan does. Logan is still living in the hotel. There are some great references to a certain "curse word of the future" in both episodes that had me in hysterics. Veronica works in the Hearst library. No mention or word of Weevil or the Kanes, though there are plenty of people affected by what Cassidy did last season.

Hopefully we can see the love scenes between LoVe, because we had to watch her and ewwwDonut. :D

Wow, I just got into this show a few weeks ago and I ripped through the first two seasons in like a second. I'm so glad I got into this show, because it's amazing.

I'm looking forward to this new season a lot. The writing, the acting, the mystery...it's all incredible. I can't wait.

I dnt think I will miss Gia much either, but like you guys said it would have been nice to see how Woody's death affected her. I will miss Jackie a little as I started to really like her towards the end of the season, but I am sure Wallace will find someone else to be with eventually!
And I 2 miss the good sweet Cassidy. But evil killer, rapist Beaver, not so much!lol. Kyle Gallner is a great actor tho, so I will definatley miss his presence on the show!

Well I think it was a pretty good first episode. The beginning was a little cheesy(around when Veronica meets Piz)but it was still pretty decent. The whole first scene was hilarious, lol.

Piz is alright, he is a little too innocent for my taste but still a decent character. Parker is funny, not in the "she means ot be funny" way but haha funny. It's sad that either Dick shaved her hair off or she was raped...its pretty obvious Veronica saw Dick and her having sex...or atleast they made it look it.

her Dad...well, poor Kendall :-( I really like Charisma and I was hopeing they could somehow fit her into the show. Sadly no...and as I thought there was money in the brief case.

I think its safe to say that the first nine epsidoe mystery is the rapist. Hopefully the show will pull through on the ratings and will have the whole season and more play out. You LoVe fans should be happy, the epsiode was full of it!

Lots of LoVe, but you can see they are not going to last. We were cheated out of LoVe's first time. But I did like that she told Logan he should go pro because obivously he was way better then Donut.

And they made feel bad for Dick, you can tell he's hurting (by doing even dumber things then he usually does)

I'll have to watch it again when I get off of work. I don't remember the begining being that cheesy.

But I knew Veronica would solve the fake case in her Criminology class quickly. At least they made the actor who played Lucky look different, even though I recognized him right away.

The ep wasn't as jaw dropping as the first two seasons. But that could be because I spoiled myself for this too much. I still enjoyed it.

I'm a little sad they got rid of Veronicas old car. And the LoVe was fantastic! The key scene was adorable with the handholding, and the "what? no quip?". With LoVe, K-Bell acted like V wasn't as interested in Logan as he is in her. (except for the great sex appearently)

K-Bell has stated that she doesn't think that Logan and V should be together right now. She thinks Logan needs to deal with his own issues before he becomes longtime boyfriend material for V.

So I was reading the TWOP boards and they have some good theories. One is the Piz/Veronica love has not been confirmed by RT only the the spoiler writers and they love to play with words. Remember when they said Troy was V's new love interest last season and that never happened, he was only on for 1 episode.

some are thinking that he might be for Mac. Which I could see, after Cassidy. Mac needs some who's sweet and caring to help her cope. Piz seems perfect for that.

They did say LoVe does break up, but not because of Piz. So V breaks up with Logan because he does something assholy (which won't be that suprising) then she could be on her own. If Piz and Mac happen he will still be part of the storyline, since Mac is V's hacker.

But that could be the optimistic LoVer in me talking

Well I read a statement tht the CW released, and they seemed rather pleased with the ratings. I think they were the best since Normal Is The Watchword, and although they could have been better, I think the overall numbers were o.k.
We can only hope tht the numbers improve, or at least remain at a steady pace.
Like you guys said, a lot of people watched the premiere online, so we can hope tht was a factor in the ratings this week.

As a BSG fan, I loved the FRAK references in the first ep of the season. And poor Piz... he looks like a deer caught in the headlights.

One thing that ticked me off: I understand why those gals that got roofied and their heads shaved ar pissed off, and I agree that Dick was being a jerk, but the biatch (who wasn't even a rape victim--she had her hair) that kicked Dick in the package was WAY over the line. Last I remember, 2 wrongs DON'T make a right. Just because you got victimized doesn't give you a right to kick every man you come across in the package. Save the anger for the actual criminal, not some stupid guy who's acting out with a blowup doll.

I don't think they kicked him out of sheer impulse though, you have to remember that the girls were trying to make a stand and talk (or rather shout) about what happened to them. When Dick went up on stage I saw the kick coming from a mile away because it was disrespectful and really inappropriate. Girls are talking about how they were raped and his first impulse is to jump on stage and dance in a speedo? It's like laughing in their faces. :no:

I don't really think that's an impulse as much as it was planned (recall the guy with the boom box). I'm not saying he's not a jerk, but that girl just committed a crime--it's called assault and battery. And she was NOT one of the victims. She was a supporter. I'll say it again, Dick was being an a-hole, but 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Plus, those girls were DEMANDING that all the Fraternities be closed? WTF? I really get sick of seeing all Fraternities and Fraternity members being demonized for the actions of a few. And in any event, there is NO EVIDENCE that the rapist is in a Fraternity.

Parker didn't deserve what happened to her, even though she was messing around with a lot of guys.

Maybe the girl did over-react just a bit but I agree that Dick was stepping over a line when he got up on stage and danced like that. He did that to show the girls up when all they were doing was trying to prevent more girls from being raped. It happens so easily because guys like Dick don't take it seriously enough.
The wait for this next episode is killing me! Not long now! I have tomorrow off uni, wish it was Wednesdays I had off then I could watch it as soon as possible. I can't wait though, it looks hilarious! Think it'll have the right mix of darkness and humour to make it a brilliant episode.

What a great episode to be played the same week I am missing Prison Break!! Veronica's part reminded me a lot of the one Season 1 episode. The one where she is undercover at a cult. That's cool though. Poor Veronica, everything seems to always backfire on her.

It was a great ep. I think I might have liked it more the premiere. I don't know. I felt so bad for Veronica when she was feeling all guilty for Parker's rape. What was kinda creepy about that is that when Parker was telling Mac that her parents were coming, they said from Denver. Weird. Anyways, the whole sorority storyline was really interesting. I did not expect there to be pot in the closet. The prisoner-guard thing was cool too, although Rider Strong's character was such an ass. But Logan rocked during it.

I wasn't too disappointed by the lack of LoVe out there. This is one of the few shows that I watch where I'm not looking for shipper action. I like LoVe and all, but yeah.

What an episode! Is it just me, or is Hearst college just FULL of hateful women (the editor of the school paper, the nose-ring gal in the golf cart) that just don't like anyone partying, having fun, being in a fraternity/sorrority, or just being happy?

I mean FRAK IT! That editor just wanted to torpedo that sorrority because she just KNEW it had to be involved in the rapes and she didn't want the truth about the House Mother's cancer to get in the way of an exciting story. Stuff like that REALLY MAKES ME ANGRY. Rather than report the truth, that editor just wanted to use her position and the newspaper to further her own agenda. Anyone with any sense of integrity should be ticked off about the editor's actions. There is a word for it and it's YELLOW JOURNALISM. :mad:

I rented Reefer Madness from Netflix and kept for almost 2 months. I think I watched everyday. lol I had to go out and buy it too. :D

The first time I watched I thought it was weird and then I watched again the next day and I became obessed with it. That movie really showcases K-Bell's amazing talents.

I want them to sell the soundtrack, because I pretty much love every song in the movie.
