ThePolarBear, there are tons of Gimp tutorials out there, there are some really good ones at LiveJournal Communities. I like this one (http://community.livejournal.com/gimp_trash/) and this one (http://community.livejournal.com/gimp_tutorial/), and that first one has brushes too. There are a few listed here (http://www.lost-forum.com/showthread.php?t=51195) too. I also post some of my own tutorials here (http://community.livejournal.com/secret_art). Also, a lot of photoshop tutorials work, because GIMP has the same tools and layers but with different names. You just need a little patience in figuring out those names. :D Hope that helps. :D

Ya, it wasnt too bad. This year actually our fireworks were good. I have the same resolution as you, to be healthier to my body. To drink more water, exercise, and eat right.

I've made another Conmama vid, yays. It was orginally my idea for a ConMama trilogy except that I've already made five vids instead of three, lol. It'll probably be like a little mini-series. The first installment is titled FATE

FATE: Sawyer and Claire meet and begin a relationship but Sawyer keeps the fact that he's a con from Claire. When she becomes pregnant, he gets scared and they break up. They end up on Flight 815 together and begin to repair their relationship on the island. But then The Others get involved and ruin their chance.

Songs are Set Fire To The Third Bar by Snow Patrol and By The Way by Hinder.

i saw it on lvi and thought it was great, nice manip with the whole death thing, first the paint, then the silent part of Jack walking in Do No Harm and then both crying (exodus and Deux ex machina respectivly) then the cross and Sawyer digging from Expose, that must've been a little tricky to get it all juuuuuuuust right
