I was on the computer, on the forums. (Ok, I'm crying now.... seriously) And my mom came in, and I clicked the minimize button, and she was like "What are you hiding?" and I was like, "I'm not hiding anything... And then my sister wanted to get on the computer, and... (omg you guys, I can hardly type... :() And long story short, it ended up in my bawling my eyes out, and me running to my room... and my mom went to talk to me, and she was like "I don't want you on the forums anymore, you are talking to people you don't know....." I didn't really hear what else she said, I was crying too hard.... And I tried explaining to her about how I have friends here...... and she wouldn't listen.... and then she was like "Say goodbye to your friends...."

I'm not leaving though. If she catches me on the computer, I'm a dead girl walking. But I'm willing to take that chance, because you guys mean the world to me. And this place means too much to me. But seriously, I'm a wreck here.... I haven't been able to stop crying... :worry:

Alyssa, my heart is going out to you. I could be in your position very soon. I guess there's a limit to how sneaky you can be. You just can't leave us...no way, no how...you're a vital Jater. Just let things cool down with your parents and get on the computer when everyone's busy. Or (this is what I do) have 2 windows open: 1 that is like related to something you need to research for school, and the other can be this window. Only when everyone's out of sight you can open this window up. Your parents can't stop you from using the computer when you need to for school. Don't cry...there are some things that parents just don't understand and you have to make the decision for yourself because you know what's best in this case. You know we love you, so everything will be okay. And TGG is in like 3 days, which should make you feel better...

Honestly, coming clean wouldn't work with my parents, but I don't know your parents. Only you will know whether it works. If I told my parents, they'd be like "oh, so you're depressed and you need to talk to strangers about it, why don't you talk to your real friends or us?, if you concentrate on school stuff, you won't even have these problems to think about..." This works for me: just give them the cold shoulder so it appears like they've really hurt you. Feel betrayed by them, because you thought that they could trust you. If they know that you wouldn't talk to anyone else but people on the forum, they'll realize they can't do anything about it. Plus, they'll remember how much their trust means to you.

So... this was the longest day of my life. I'm about to bite someone's head off, so don't come too close. First of all... to make sure I got to this place for my interview on time, I took a cab, which cost me freakin' $26!!! *breathes into paper bag* My interview itself went fine. I was surprised that I was actually able to pull off my business suit (yeah, I looked pretty hot ;) ) and that I didn't totally screw up my first real interview. I did pretty good. And it won't be a big disappointment if I don't get it (I won't hear back for weeks... jeez), because I know that it just means they found someone more qualified. Plus, I got two more phone calls today to set up interviews! I'm a hot item! LOL. So anyway... this is where it goes downhill... there was supposed to be a shuttle bus that would get me to the subway, which would get me home. Nope. An hour goes by. No shuttle ever came. So I got on a bus... and then I had to transfer to another bus.. and then I finally got on the subway and got home. For something that is about 20 minutes away by car... it took me 3 hours to get home!!! OMFG. I was about to cry. And I'm still pissed off at the world. Thank God I can come back here to find something like the Adidas list to make me smile. You guys are the best!!! *hugs Jaters and licks them all from head to toe*
