My computer was soooo broken! like we had to take it to a repair guy (¿?) and had to pay a lot and it took a long while to get it fixed.. so basicly(sp) is the same old computer on the outside but on the inside is all new...but yeah i was for a whole month disconnected! :D sad thing is that it got broken because while i was downloading a torrent to download 2x01 a virus screwed everything up! so totally my fault.. hehe and tomorrow i guess i'll be downloading the new ep so i have my fingers crosses for no more tragedies!!

Hadn't seen that ep before no! I've got the whole season on Dvd but am being good and not watching the eps in advance 'cause then I'vr got no new Lost too look forward too! Hehe. I didn't realise this was the ep that came straight after the 'It belonged to the man I loved' deal, so was all v.cute how Jack was trying to make her feel okay and all the Jate banter *grin* no... it's the slimy blackish blueish things.... hehehe :)

Trisha, this will probably shock you, but in Stuttgart I realized that I am in fact a Jater!
You did it! You converted me!!! :clap: *gg*

I guess part of the reason why I rejected it for so long was that I - as strangely as it may sound - identify with Jack so much. Of course not with his hero-kinda way, but with him being so emotional. I think I'm very similar that way. And often I don't like this side of me, so I guess that's why I didn't find my Jater love sooner. This must sound very weird... :D

Nevertheless... the clincher was the scene in the last episode "... and Found" where Kate tells Sun, that she regrets not saying goodbye to Sawyer. That scene felt so wrong for some reason, I can't even explain it. My stomach turned when I saw it.

So... now I'm a Jater... and what now? :)

I had a Jate dream last night... well, actually it was an epic Lost dream, that included some Jate. They were all on a big boat, which was sinking, and they were trying to get onto another big boat... and it was very chaotic and scary. And Jack was holding a little boy in his arms (Whit: Aidan??!!) and was screaming "Kate! Where are you!? Kate!!!" and was very worried (and I got the feeling that she was his main concern, the first thing he thought about as the situation got worse). And then Kate called back to him from another part of the boat to say she was okay. And that's all. I was just squeeing, even in my dreams. :lotsalove AND... *drumroll* Liz was in it. Not even kidding. Liz Dream #3. I'm starting to get scared. :rotflol:

Hey, just joined last week because of that glorious Canadian promo for "What Kate Did." But I've been a lurker for a while... on and off. Been obsessed with the show since day one, actually just watched the Pilot because of the INTENSE promos for it almost minutes before and of course because it was after Alias... Wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. "Wow, hot people on an island. How long can this go on for?" That is... until there were two... Jack and Kate's immediate chemistry was damn awesome. Perfection, really, prime material for a "classic TV couple" moment. So... here we go.

Favorite Jate Moment: The very first ones (I'm talkin' first 11ish eps)... but faves are, Kate's reaction (look on her face plus hug) when she sees Jack come out from the collapsed cave after she spent hours trying to dig him out. And of course, verbal copulation on the beach (man, they were sooooo close to a kiss there).
Fave Ship Other Than Jate: Jin and Sun are the only others who have the right chemistry to care about. But I only do the Jate obsessing (meaning fic, art, etc).
Least Favorite Ship: Should be Skate, actually it is SKATE! But that damn kiss... I've got to admit, it was hot. (BUT NOT AS HOT AS JATE's IS GONNA BE!)

I'm new here. Finally decided that Jate truly is fate. ;) Ever since the show started I've swung back and forth between Jate, Skate, and not giving a darn either way. Last episode I realized I'm a Jater. The playful banter between the two during the golf game made me realize how much I miss their relationship from the beginning of the first season. But what really did it for me was the look on Jack's face when Kate was whispering in Sawyer's ear. I starting screaming, "KATE! Wrong guy!" Not that I don't think she should have been concerned over Sawyer, but I really don't want to see Skate. Jate all the way.
