Ouch!!! I hate sunburns! I get them easily too. They usually have some gel for sunburns at stores, they work great.

Sunburns...I remember those. My worst sunburn had me feeling like a Ballpark frank, all plum and oozing, before I started peeling like a reptile. NEVER wear jeans when you got sunburn, unless you want to feel excruciating pain.

Soaking in cold water and putting ice packs all over me seemed to have helped with the pain.

It feels like your skin is stining, hot to the touch, and a lot of pain when something rubs against it ( i.e. jeans). Sunburned joints will also induce a lot of pain when you move around :( When the burns start to heal then they start to itch...like CRAZY.

Oh jeeze..... That must be horrible... The only sunburn I have ever gotten was when I was about 4, and I wore 2 french braids to the beach... and I got a burn on my scalp.... But I don't remember what it felt like...

Everyone on my track team looks like tomatoes except for me and my sister... lol.. we were expecting rain, not beaming hot sun.. :D

Yea, I had a sunburn on my shoulders and hurt like heck! My sis accidently scratched it and I started cry. Then one day, I was wearing sandals and I somehow got sunburn on my feet! Man, it hurt to take a shower.

I also got sunburn on my hair where it parts in the middle. It didn't hurt, but I peeled a lot. People thought I had dandruff, lol. Oh, that's when I went to Cedar Point! Lol, I also lost my voice that day too.

I've never got a sunburn living in New Jersey... All my sunburns I got are from when I was living in Thailand. Tropical sun is like the Showtime Rotisserie...15 mins per pound so WATCH OUT!!

Ouch!!! My mom is faired skin and has red hair, so she gets sunburn really easily. The sun's UVs during the summer are really bad here from 10 AM-2 PM, so I go outside after 2.

Last time I took it, it was horrible because I was running out of time and I didn't know all those stupid words, but I studied hard and it paid off! Now I get to talk to you all again!!!! Well, I still have to wait until my math finals over but a huge pressure is gone...

I'm so glad to talk to you guys!!!! Lin, Paris?!!! That is sooo cool. I went there a couple summers ago with my dad because he had a conference there. It is soooo nice. You'll have to go to the Louvre- it's the best...it takes 8 hours to see everything in the museum but it is the best experience ever. And the Mona Lisa is tiny...not what you'd expect and the Renaissance paintings are gorgeous. Take a ton of money because everything is so expensive in Paris!

Awww...you're so sweet Lin. Why are you nervous...excited nervous or just nervous? SATs are college entrance exams...and they are a pretty important factor in the admissions of colleges. How long are you staying in Paris?

I'm both: excited nervous because i'm really looking forward to it, and nervous nervous because 'm going with a group of friends, but two of them have had a pretty big quarrel (is that the right word?) about something very unimportant and it's not like they hate each other now but they're just not on speaking terms anymore if you know what i mean. I'm really afraid that our group will be divided in two 'camps', because i always end up in the middle :confused:
Hmm.. i guess they'll just have to get along with each other.. I will not let them spoil my trip to paris! :D

Wow, college entrance exams... :eek: When will you get the results? And what does SAT stand for?

Btw, i will be staying in Paris for 9 days (Sunday-Monday) :)

wow Lin, Paris is awesome!! You're gonna have a great time there!! You have to visit the eiffel tower, the view all the way up is amazing! it's a pretty expensive city but there are lots of great places to visit :D

I had a jate dream last night. I love that i am not the only crazy Jater around. :D I was watching Exodus with my dad (first time he had seen it) and when Jack and Kate were talking at the end and it pauses and it turned to her I squeeled out "I got you back" right when she did and i started crying and my dad just looked over at me, got up, and walked out. He said i squeeled everytime Jack and Kate had a "moment" I don't know what he's talking about.....(rolls eyes) He just doesn't get it. NO ONE I KNOW DOES! (eye starts twitching) I'm ok. :rant: i have the worst sun burn! i was away for the weekend with my family in our country house and now i'm all acking..hehe i'm just wearing a big t-shirt and nothing else..a bra right now is pretty much a torture...but i'm good, i know in a couple of days i'll be ok, with a great tan! And Ladystx, I can't even watch Lost with my family anymore (well, only my parents watch it), because I smile and squeal whenever there's a Jate moment. hehe.
