I use photoshop, you can download a 30 day tiral, then you have to buy it, unless you download a crack code, but yeah... it can be kinda expensive though. Other goos programs though are Pain shop pro and... well, that all I know of, but yeah.

Try downloading the GIMP; I don't like it much personally, but it's free, and it has a lot of the same things as Photoshop. It's just a bit more difficult to learn. Also, like Ash said, try downloading the free trial of Photoshop CS. And then let me know if you like it, and I'll see what I can do... :shifty:

I have nothing to do, and it is lovely. You guys will probably be seeing me a lot more now that school is out and such. And hopefully we can boost the ConMama morale.

Last night was my grade nine grad! It was so fun, I'll have to post some pictures on the picture thread later. The highlight was my best friend asking the guy she's head over heels with to dance and then when they did and they turned around dancing I saw her mouthing "He's touching my ass!!!" and grinning like a maniac. Yeah, I whish I was going to a midnight screening, but I'm not :( I'm going to a session on thursday night :D but I still feel pretty lucky, becuase it doesn't come out in the US until friday (am I right on that?) and we're getting it on thursday, plsu we're ahead of the US (as far as time goes) so...

I am so psyched, I even bought a crummy (becuase it smade out of foam) pirate hat and I have a little flag that I'm going to take and ave around as well.

I love midnight shows, mostly because I like being at the first audience screenings. Yeah, it opens on Friday. Plus, I'm going to this tall ships thing and they're showing the first PotC! Which will be the 4th time I've seen it in the theater!

I'm hoping in the 3rd season Kate finally picks Jack after the Others take them "home." And then Henry (because I love him so therefor he is a ConMamian) convinces Sawyer he should be with Claire.

Conmama style!

It works perfectly. I mean, almost. Charlie is Gaston, Sawyer is the Beast, Claire is Belle. We can make it AU so she can be close to her dad. Not sure if Aaron should be part of it or not... it would make for a killer twist, hehe. How did I not think of it before? It has all the elements... At least, some of them. Charlie is perfect in the Gaston role... he's completely in love with Claire, and she's so not in love with him, and he would kill Sawyer to get to her (or at leats, beat him up, lol)

When I have time, and after H2H I am sooo turning this into a fic (unless someone else wants to)

Haha, I loved the bit with the bird.. and how Hurley was like 'Dude... did that bird just say my name?' hehe, cuase the same bird was in the final of season 1 and I remember reading how quite a few people speculated that the bird possibly said Hurley's name. So I thought it was funny.

Its just a shame that they have yet to reveal the secret that is Conmama, that has been happening for quite some time now.. (the affair has been quite evident to those looking for the right thing since Walkabout I do beleive... perhaps even before. (however.. season 3... first ep... I betchya...)

I've just been enjoying my summer break to the fullest, (Aka, reading tons, laying in bed till noon and going to the movies) and recoooperating from a high speed trip to Montreal. Everytime I think about it, it makes me sleepy.

I have been lurking but I'm definately making it an effort to chat more in here, seeing how this place has been DEAD lately. And I've been writing some HH. I know how I want to end it when I do, I'm really excited about the next couple of chapters even though I'm a bit blocked. So it might not be up to par, but I'll try my best.

I did hear however, that Season 3 is going to be looking more at character relationships and all of that. The way I see it, season 1 was really just setting up the show, letting us know the characters and all of that, season 2 was more about the island and what was on it and all of that, and when I was listening to the Lost Podcast they sadi season 3 was going to be more about the characters and that... so hopefully we'll get a bit of the season 1 feel back into it, and we'll get some Conmama scenes. I mean seriously, right now... I'll be happy with Claire just saying Hi to Sawyer or vise-versa.

haha, I forgot to tell you guys, I had an almost Conmama dream... just hear me out...

In my dream and went on the computer and logged on to L-F, anyway, we had a Conmama sub-forum, it was very happy :D and, I later found out in my dream (well, in my dream I already knew all of this, but, yeah... anyway) Conmama was well on its way to being Canon on the show.

Now, this could mean absolutly nothing and is just whishful thinking on my part (I did also have a dream where me and two of my oither Buffy obsessed friends were Vampire Slayers, getting ready to battle the 'Firsts' (yeah, for some reason there was two of them...) so you know...) but I have had a small record of my dreams, somewhat coming true... (in a weird sense)

heres my example: Ok, so at school, I don't know the number of my locker, and for some reason it just wont stick, the only way I know where my locker is that my friends locker is next to mine and she turned her lock around the other way. So anyway, in my dream she turned the lock around the right way and I freaked out becuase I couldn't find my loker, it had just disapeared. A couple of months later that friend announced that she was leaving our school. I was then faced with the problem that someone else would get her locker and I would be fored to work out exactly where my locker was (that hasn't happened yet, no one has her locker.. but I could happen...)

do you get what I mean? In a weird way, it kinda came true, it was like my dream was foreshadowing what would happen.

Now the funny thing is, I don't normally beleive in dreams and that telling the future...

But I don't think that this is a good sign for conmama. It doesn't nessisarly mean that Conmama is going to become canon in season 3, and we'll get a sub-forum, and things like that... but it could quite possibly mean that we'll get at leats one conmama scene this season :D (and one is enough for me... though more owuld be good :nod: )

You know what I was thinking would work really well for a Conmama flashback epiusode, and the more I think about it the more I like... ok, so if any of you are buffy fans you'll know what aI'mt alking about... if not, just hear me out...

The way they introduced the character of Dawn on Buffy was through, well, Dawn's eyes pretty much, she kept a diary and she you heard little snippets of what she was writing and that type of stuff... so...

1st ep seaosn 3...

Opening shot: Claire sitting on the beach writing in her diary, and she does an overvoice thingy saying what she's writing, and she'd writing all about how she's worried about the 3 that got taken by the others... but most importantly.. Sawyer...

and she goes into this whole thing about how she;s not sure how she feels about him and that, then the flashbacks begin :D

it sounded better in my head... but I'm sure you all get what I mean...

Eh, not much. Been working a lot lately, so that's taken up most of my time. And I've been trying to get some ConMama writing out, but it's been kinda difficult lately :confused: So nothing too exciting here :p

So, how's the next HH update coming along? :D

It's coming, it's about 1/3 done. It's hard to write because the computer I have it on, is in my brother's room, and he's constantly on it. But things should get better because he's getting a new one, and it's getting moved into my room!

I'm starting to see the end of HH, which is kind of sad. But i'd like to play around with some different ideas, and do a few one-shots before I don't know maybe jumping into another multi-chapter fic. I remember the good old days of Nurse Claire when I could do a chapter a day! Although I hope I'm a better writer now then I was last summer, but who knows?

Whatever happened to the third part of Suprises (?) A Bad Moods sequal? Hmm?

I actually posted up HH on fanfiction.net. It's interesting... So far I have 6 reviews for four chapters. And one person thought that when Claire invited him over for dinner she was saying she wanted to have sex with him and was like "Your claire is too pushy, he died and she's inviting him over!?". But then some sweet girl left a long review about how there were too many PB&J stories and how they were all the same and how she was grateful for mine. And now I think theres 2 pages of ConMama stories at fanfiction.net, which is thrilling to me! We're becoming more mainstream, Woo!

Ooh, I'll have to add HH to the ConMama C2 Community, then! Hopefully the writers will get wind of the mainstream ConMama-ness, and we'll finally get some damn scenes next season :shifty:

God, I hope so. I love Lost but this season was such a letdown for me. I don't really give a crap about the pushing of the button or about Dharma at all really. I loved Lost because of the character interraction and it seemed like they really put the characters on the backburner this year, especially Claire and Sun.

And the lack of ConMama is making me rabid about other ships. Right now I'm on a Jim and Pam kick from The Office. I get so bitter too, haha. I'm all "Look at how many scenes THEY HAVE!"

OMG, that's exactly how I feel! I hate all the Dharma crap and all the Others crap and all the triangle crap :mad: It's sooooo boring, and I'm not even really excited about next season. The only thing good about S2 was that they finally turned Charlie into a bad guy and got him away from Claire, and then they RUINED her character by having her kiss him in the finale. Grr, I get all pissed just thinking about it :shifty:

They need more character interaction, and we need more ConMama!!!

I know! And I even LIKED Charlie when he was away from Claire! He was interesting, it would have been fascinating to watch the Eko and Charlie dynamic a little more. But now they're going to make it Claire and Charlie variety hour, oh look how cute they are, ooh imaginary peanutt butter and the idea of that makes me sick.

They even fleshed Claire out a little more, showing her as a strong mother and now they're going to ignore all that and turn her into a simpering, little defensless girl again.

See, they really should have kept Ana around and put her with Charlie, because that was the ONLY time I liked him at all during S2. He was more like his S1 self, except not trying to "save" Claire at every turn. Because like you said, Claire proved she's a strong mother that can take care of herself. But wait... let's just offer her drugs that the hobbit tried on himself (please tell me there were clean needles... there's no way Charlie would use it and then let Claire use it; stupid junkie probably has a million diseases) and everything will be fine and dandy and we can kiss and be happy!!! *stabs out eyes* Seriously, no. And wtf is up with Sawyer? "Let me pine after Kate, and then after 10 episodes in a row of no AnaL interaction, let me screw her." Blah. They definitely need more character interaction out there..... it's getting so beyond boring, I almost want them all to die so I don't have to deal with it anymore. :rolleyes:

I know, I realize it was probably a bid to the Sana-ers as a parting gift or something but honestly. Sawyer is not that stupid, he should have realized what she was doing. To me it was just really weird. Like it didn't ring true or something.

Gah, we have to be optimistic that things will turn out our way. I just can't see Claire and Charlie lasting. I think even if I were a PB&Jer I would have felt a little pissed off by the kiss. Like you put in all this effort into supporting something and then when it happens if feels sloppy, and rushed and just cheap. I would be v. disappointed but whatever, to each their own.

I still like to think in my own world that Sawyer at least new Ana was conning him and just wanted the sex; for how smart they've proven he is, for him to just forget that she was wrestling him for a gun and then only later realizing it was gone... :eh: So not buying it.

And yeah, I can't see PB&J lasting another 3 seasons and (potentially) through a movie. As long as neither Claire or Sawyer are dead, I'm always gonna hope they get together; the island's only so big, they have to interact again. If cheap kisses will make the PB&Jers content right now, then I say let them have them. Then it'll be our turn ;)

Yeah I totally agree, It doesn't matter if you hate Sawyer or you love him, you have to admit he is smart and he reads people very well. So he should have realized that Ana was doing it for ulterior motives right away.

If Claire or Sawyer dies I think I'll just go "Screw it" and quit the show. Honestly the hope of anything happening was really the only reason I stuck around. You have Jate which of course will happen at one point but it's all or nothing for me atleast.

I know what you mean. Now that Shannon's "dead," and Ana's really dead, if Claire or Sawyer goes, I think I'll quit the show too. I love Jate, but they're just not worth it if Claire's the one to go and it's all triangle bullcrap still. Or if Sawyer goes, and it's all PB&J bullcrap. Like you said, it's the hope that keeps me going; I'd probably be completely bored with the show by now if I wasn't constantly searching for ConMama delusional scenes :p

ConMama delusional scenes are wonderful. I loved the one in Maternity Leave when Sawyer got all worked up when Kate informed him that Aaron was sick. I'm just really hoping that when Sawyer makes it back to that side of the island thatthe writers will throw us a bone and give us a scene! A Sawyer reads to Aaron one with protective mother Claire standing by would be wonderful even. Just ANYTHING!

Oh, so I went to the Tall Ships Celebration and it was soooo much fun. They were supposed to have one of the ships from Dead Man's Chest, but it got stuck in the Erie Canal. However, I guess there was another one from DMC, I didn't go on it, because I didn't know it was from the movie. I was distracted by the hot guys dressed as pirates.

While I was there I saw a guy who looked like Sawyer with shorter hair and a girl who looked liked Claire later on. I got really excited!
