Although I am a hardcore ConMamian, I would much rather see Daire than PB&J. Besides, the small scene between them was cute.

see I figure this is how it will go down. Desmond will be with Pen in the end right, that would make the most sense, and well seeing as how Sawyer is pre-occupied at the moment with Kate and such, that leaves Claire open to be with somone OTHER than charlie, so why not Desmond. They can be together until Sawyer wises up and while yes Desmond will be heartbroken at first when she goes to Sawyer, he will have Pen in the end.

Just want to say that this 'ship is incredibly HOT and I love it. Not ready to sign the list yet because I'm a die hard PB&J-er, but I love both Desmond and Claire, and out of all the women, I think Claire is best for him. Their scene together was great. I don't see why not. I ship Claire with practically everyone, except Charlie. Not a PB&J fan. But I ship Claire with Locke, Desmond, Sawyer, and Ethan. Of course EClaire is a joke ship, but it is still fun.

There's no rule against having one ship or one ship involving one character. It's fun to ship different varieties. ^_^

Ok I just watched this episode and I am totally convinced that Desmond digs Claire! :D I reckon he's definatly gonna be the third party of the Claire/Charlie/other person love triangle TPTB were speaking of! Er, uh, hi? I'm new to the board...but have plenty of experience on forums...I used to mod a LOTR forum or several years.

Anway...um, yeah, after that cute scene between Desmond and Claire in 3x05 'Every Man for Himself', I was just thinking to myself...'Desmond definitely needs something on the side until he meets up with Penny again...oh look! There's Claire being all sweet with him and sharing good chemistry with hm! Hmmmm, a clue, Sherlock?'

I actually am also starting to ship Desmond/Alex as well as having always supported Charlie/Claire...

Sayid and Sawyer have always been my favorite characters, but the moment Des appeared on screen, I kinda just dropped my jaw and started to fangirl. The man is so sexy! And him wearing that blue shirt like that, and upon answering if he played golf by saying, "I'm Scottish.", and byt him having the power of awesome psychicness...you just can't help but love the Des! Even though I think he will be with Penny in the end.

I have noticed a lot of hate for Charlie around this thread, and even though he's not my fav, I'm still a fan of his, and a fan of PB&J, which I think is how the show will end...but I definitely think that he needs to rethink the way he acts like a bloodhound around any guy who so much as says hi to Claire.
