What Will Hurley Do?

Ok, so clearly there is going to be a battle. How will Hurley handle himself when violence breaks out?

Does he know how to use a gun? In the promo pics, we see Jack, Sawyer and Kate all carrying a gun, but we don't see Hurley with one.

If he is NOT carrying a gun, how will he defend himself or play offense?
Obviously, with a gun, all you have to do is pull the trigger.
I'm really hoping Hurley will surprise us and kick major ass. I wonder what will happen when he sees Henry....or when he finds out what Michael really did.

Hurley is big, but probably very slow. But lets not forget how he attacked Sawyer. It would take 3 or 4 Others to overpower Hurley. I can't wait to see how he handles himself. GO HUGO!!!

"IF" there is a huge battle and he sees Fenry or realises what Michael did, there will be no bullets stopping him. He will charge, unstop, even with a couple of bullets in him.

There may not be a big "war" like people are expecting, but I think that the Losties and the Others are definitely going to confront one another and violence will ensue.

All Hurley really has to do is sit on Fenry and he's got em.

Hurley won't die. I'm not sure who said it, probably the producers....they said that the only character who is guaranteed to survive until the end is Hurley.

Judging by the promo, Kate is the most likely to die. BUT I don't think anyone will. Well, not anyone important anyway.

C'mon, give him some credit. We all know that Jack, Sawyer, and Kate's gonna use him as a body shield and/or as bait for smokey. That's their advantage right there.

From my experiences firing many, many guns, varying from a 9mm Glock 17's to a 7.62 x 39 AK-47 automatic rifles... I believe I can say that shooting a live gun is completely different from the guns you use at the arcades. I wish all guns were as easy as the arcades.

If you ask me, it'll make Hurley coming off as a real bad shooter if he spent too much using the hand/eye coordination method at the videogames. After all, there's the recoil he's gotta deal with, the sound of a gun fire isn't so pleasant, and you cant see where you're shooting at unless you're able to hold the gun right, balance the gun right, know how to look down the aim beam right, and how to fire a gun properly by squeezing the trigger rather than to pull it... and all that just to be able to come within a foot of the target (for a rook).

Bullets are picky bastards if you ask me. Which is often why I love shotguns.

I think Hurley could easily kill some Others in close combat. He gave Sawyer a beating, he´s gonna kill Michael when he finds out he killed Libby. Sawyer would probably join him, for Ana-Lucia.
It would be great if Hurley kicks someones ass in the finale. I can see it happening. :w00t:

You may have put a ha ha on the end of that alex but i honestly reckon you might be right.

I can seriously see michael dying in season three. Im sure at some point he will redeem himself but it will cost him his life. I dont see how he can ever be a liked character again.

I know he is doing it for his son, and i have to ask myself how far i would go to save the life of my child..... and even though im quite a non violent person i can honestly say to myself that i would go all the way. To save my child i would kill.

So i do have empathy for michael but heck hes still gonna die, he killed two hotties, and i reckon walt will be entrusted with Jin and Sun.

What do you all reckon?

I really hope that hurley sits on michael' s face till he dies...he deserves worse but hey...he should take revenge for what he did to Libby.

As we all noticed from the season finale, Hurley just covered his head when the darts came out of the jungle. I think Hurley is well aware of his issues and his abilities on the island.
