Mod Name Changes?

i was looking at the currently avtive users an i noticed some new mod names, Mr Emu and Mr Bob, and was kinda confused when i went to their profiles as it appears to be (from the avatar/banner etc.) the new mods *Liz* and Marystat, who both also now appear to be male on their profiles:confused:
has the site been hacked or are you other mods just playing a trick on the new guys?

EDIT: waggidy now also apears to have changed to Mr Bubba.....

personally, i think it's rather annoying that everyone changed their names. i've been "guest star" for years and it'd be confusing to everyone if i suddenly changed it to Scion or even Jake the Snake. i've only had conversations with a few mods (like Shred) and now it's hard to tell exactly who those few are.
