I have to admit that I've always wanted to see something get started between Locke and Claire. Then when Libby came on the scene, I wanted to see him with Libby. But NOW I want Libby to get with Hurley...so I'm back to wanting Locke and Claire to hook up. I liked seeing that preview, too!

First of all, I don't think that Claire and Locke will "get together". He's more like a father figure or uncle type to her. They have been close since the beginning, he built her the crib, etc. I think that it will just LOOK that way to Charlie and piss him off. IMHO

I still prefer Locke being a father-figure to Claire rather a romantic relationship happening. It fits perfectly for Locke's character, getting a chance to be the kind of man to someone that his father wasn't for him.

I have always thought of Locke as the "protector" of the baby since Claire was told by the "psychic" that she MUST raise him. Being on a rough and tough island..it would seem that since the baby has to be there(for reasons we will find out someday)..the baby will need a protector of sorts..and when Locke built the cradle..it just fit perfect for me that that was Locke's duty as protector.

I don't see Claire and Locke going anywhere romance-wise. We've already had the younger woman/older man relationship in Shannon and Sayid.

Plus I personally don't think Claire's looking for romance at the minute, her mind's still confused with all that happened with Thomas, the kidnapping & losing her memory, Aaron and all her problems with Charlie at the minute.

With all that on her mind she needs someone to talk to and get advice from, and Locke's that kind of person for her.
