I tend to listen to one CD, wear it out and then move on to another.
hands down, Disturbed ~ Ten Thousand Fists. Amazing album, had it since October and have hardly listened to anything else since.

Sam's Town by The Killers
Although im currently forced to listen to it through AOL music due to the fact that i havent recieved it yet, its leading in my personal competition between Sam's Town and The Open Door (which i haven't recieved either)...
its exactly like what Brandon Flowers said: Its the best album in 20 years.
The Open Door will have to place 2nd best cd in 20 years for now...

I bought it on a whim last spring because I was in a lousy mood and needed a pick me up. I had just started to read the novel, but was having trouble getting into it mainly because of my mood and work schedule.
I instantly fell in love with it... not only am I not a "musical" person (with the exception of Buffy's "Once More With Feeling"), but that never happens to me with ANY cd. I've been obsessively listening to it since then, can't get the songs out of my head FOR ANYTHING, and when my cd player fell to the ground, I was not upset about potentially destroying my $30-$40 cd player, I was freaking out about the $12 cd!!! So, I bought another one at Walmart...where they had just one left after Xmas...and it had been marked down to less than $10.

I don't pretend to know what kind of money you make, but there's this book you should get/ask for/but-do-not-bother-borrowing-from-the-library-because-you-will-not-want-to-give-it-back called "The Grimmerie" (about $40 at Borders). Huge, in-depth, tells you everything you could possibly want to know about the musical, how it came about, the writers, songwriter, directors, cast (not just the originals), pics of darn near everything...even gives you a step-by-step instructions of Elphie's solo dance, PLUS details of the plot including song lyrics that basically explained for me how the play differed from the book.
Amazing must-have for Wicked addicts!
