Thanks! I adore yellow roses. The colours of the wedding party were even yellow and silver - although the women wore more of a butter yellow rather than the bright kind.

Ok, well, I lost the disk to my scanner like 3 years ago and haven't gotten around to taking care of it. The last pics I got before the thing became unusable was a pic of me as a newborn and at like 8 years old. I was making a site about myself and right before I got beyond those two pics a virus screwed up my scanner program and my bro erase my damn drive to fix it and then I couldn't find my installation disk!

Hopefully I'll be able to get around to scanning recent pics as soon as possible...cause I'm getting tired of not being able to. :mad:

LOL...no makeup. I hardly ever wear it. Especially if I'm just at home. The lighting is kind of bad because my camera is a piece of crap, so I guess that was to my advantage in my pic. They came out funny-looking, but oh well. I was pleased with the outfit, so whatever, and at least I am not blinking in the pictures (I always have my eyes closed in photos, unfailingly.) Thanks for the compliment!

And yeah, both were taken at work, at the Valparaiso University archives where I am the archives assistant (duh). My boss has a spiffy digital camera, so I forced him - I mean, asked him very nicely and politely - to take pictures of me. :D He dropped them off today, having got them taken care of over Christmas break, hence why they're so belated.

Basically, what I do isn't all that different from clerking - I answer genealogy requests ("Can you find Great-Grandpa Bob, who graduated from your engineering school in 1890?") for about 80% of the work, look at obituaries/generally keep up on the news for alumni for about 10% of it, and clean up after the boss as best I can for about 10% of it. He's not a professional archivist, so I'm pretty much the person in charge of keeping the proverbial ship afloat.

It's not a bad job, though. The schedule's pretty much my choice; he lets me take off for finals; I can surf the internet at work if I'm doing something dull like obituaries (which I did for four hours today), et cetera. As far as student jobs go, it's a blast, even if Indiana minimum wage is pathetically low.

(And yes, I wear the leather pants to law classes. Don't tell me you're surprised.)
