For some reason I can picture these two havea a love/hate thing although the Charlie/Claire is a great pairing. It just hit me and I love weird pairings such as this. It'd be interesting that's all I'm saying.

They didn't say anything about it, it was just mentioned in passing. They were saying that you never know what pairing there will be, or something like that. They listed off Kate/Jack, Sayid/Shannon, then Sawyer/Claire. Sorry I don't have more info, but they didn't say anything else.

I was thinking about this pairing a few days ago, when I was watching Tabula Rasa or Walkabout (can't remember which one), when Sawyer gave Claire those passports. That looked sooo cute, and I was all "Aaawww." They would be great together. But I love PB&J too, I think they're meant to be or something, and Sawyer should be with Kate, so this isn't likely to happen.

But let's say it would happen, what would we name this ship? Clawyer or Sawaire or something? :p I'd say Clawyer :cool:

her connection with Charlie before amnesia was flawed and almost fake. now that she doesn't remember and all she hears from Charlie is nice things, she's able to also forget any doubts that she might have had before. it's almost a good thing she lost her memory, at least for those who like Chaire anyway.

With Sawyer/Claire I could see it to a certain degree. I mean Claire is such a soft hearted person, and with Sawyer having walls built up around him, she could sure soften him up. I could see this pairing, but I like PB&J, and of course SKATE! :)

I like the possibility of a Sawyer/Claire moment. Although, I'm a diehard Coake fan, but I like this one over PB&J, not a huge Charlie fan here.

There's something about the way Sawyer gets nervous around Claire that I find wierd. He never had a reaction last ep, and seemed really flirty, but tonight, that look that he gave her when she entered the tent, listening to him read was wierd. I'm starting to wonder what their connection is previous to the island, seeing as most people have one.

And I can just see the fics popping up now, now that Sawyer seems to be the only one to be able to put Claire's baby to sleep.

Okay just went back and watched that part again, watching a toddler will destroy observant gray matter, so I didnt notice last night. But definitely a moment! He just reminds me of a kid in high school with those glasses! His whole face softened and his eyes got really wide. And then Charlie had to make him keep going. Awww!

BTW- did anyone else notice the little "moment" between Kate and Charlie in Episode (13 or 14, when Charlie was looking for the diary). She sat down next to him on the waterfall and there was like this weird intimate moment. ANyone?

But in the way of tv romances I think its going to be a thing where she finally wakes up to what a good guy he is and starts to return the feeling.....but now he has the drugs! Which way will they go with that? Who will Claire turn to? Sawyer? Perhaps.

That is a really good point. I think Claire right now is kinda afraid to get into any relationship (seeing as the last man she was with left her alone and pregnant). Slowly, we've seen her warm up more to Charlie, but I just don't really see it going anywhere. Even if they get off the island, what's the first thing Charlie's going to want? Drugs. But now we don't even have to wait for him to get off the island. My thought is that he'll start using again and there's no way Claire would stay with him if he did. What mother would let her baby near a drug addict? Even in the long run if he stops using the drugs. To me they aren't "in love" they're "in like" with each other. And that's not strong enough to put them back together. If she goes off to be with someone else (please Sawyer!) while Charlie is on drugs she might just stay with him. I'm going to stop now, 'cause this is really long.

That is a really good point. I think Claire right now is kinda afraid to get into any relationship (seeing as the last man she was with left her alone and pregnant). Slowly, we've seen her warm up more to Charlie, but I just don't really see it going anywhere. Even if they get off the island, what's the first thing Charlie's going to want? Drugs. But now we don't even have to wait for him to get off the island. My thought is that he'll start using again and there's no way Claire would stay with him if he did. What mother would let her baby near a drug addict? Even in the long run if he stops using the drugs. To me they aren't "in love" they're "in like" with each other. And that's not strong enough to put them back together. If she goes off to be with someone else (please Sawyer!) while Charlie is on drugs she might just stay with him. I'm going to stop now, 'cause this is really long.

I'm surprised at how quickly people are to underestimate Claire. If Charlie relapses I don't see her turning her back on someone who has gone through so much for her. I think she will try her best to stand by him and support him BUT I also think she will not let him have anything to do with Turnip head. Things could go from bad to worse ....

I don't know that he will turn to drugs as soon as he gets off the island. We don't know what any of them will do.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not aganst this ship...I just don't think it would be a long term thing.

Claire was always a character I was really interested in. I'm sure she isn't as sweet and mild-tempered. I doubt they would have such a one-dimensonal character on a show filled with such interesting characters, that are mostly a grey zone. I like to think she can get a little crazy, a little loose. And that she's very stubborn, independent. But most of all I'm sure she's got one hell of a temper.

I have the second chapter written and I think I'll post it tommorow. I'm actually quite suprised by the feedback. I honestly didn't think it was very good.

I'm very much wondering about why Sawyer's voice calms the baby. It seemed strange to me that it be Sawyer of all people. Maybe it was done for the sake of comedy (afterall, Charlie chasing Sawyer with the baby was hi-larious) or if the writers are planning on having more behind it.

I think that there must be something behind that. Little was done with it outside that episode, and if he is the only one can shut aaron up that easily he would probably be pretty damn handy, and with even the mention of CM by JJ one has to think that there is gonna be more.

Unfortunately there is always the possibility that, yes, sawyer can shut aaron up, but they used that for that episode and wont show more, likeThePolarBear said just as comic relief (that scene with charlie chasing sawyer made me nearly piss myself while laughing). If that happens I will probably end up swearing at my television multiple times and cursing the writers, PB&J, and anything else standing in the way. *grumbles at the thought*

*grins* Yep. More and more people are getting converted. If I have helped that in anyway by my vids, I'm so psyched. Sometimes you have to look at a picture to see how awesome something would be and Sawyer and Claire are just way too cute together.

Not to mention I think that their differences compliment each other. I always remember similar lines they have had as well.

Remember in "Raised By Another" Claire says to Charlie that she doesnt need rescuing? It reminds of Sawyer in "Confidence Man" when he tells Kate not to feel sorry for him. They both value their pride and are reluctant to accept help.

Well I wanted to know what they would look like if I manipulated more scenes of them, and so I made a music video and kind of fell in love with the ship' Though I have always loved the very little interaction they've had. There are endless possibilities for this ship and I think thats why I like it so much.

Even though there is minimal Sawyer/Claire interraction (Which isn't cool since I think they're two of the best actors on the show and Josh Holloway has unbelievable chemistry with inanimate objects so I think it's safe to say they would have crazy chemistry) even *just a scene* where Sawyer discusses (Missy) Claire made me all giggly.

2. Favorite ConMama moment... hmm. I'd have to pick "She likes me". The fact that selfish Sawyer offered her some of their fish. Cute. Plus coupled with the "She Likes Me" after she's gone . Adorable. Plus the nickname "Mamacita" was so cute.

3. Well you can ship Sawyer with anyone really, and the way I see it, It's going to be Jate in the long run. That's the shows "Couple". It has been since she sewed up his back, first episode. But anyways when I first started reading (I read all the recaps at TWOP one day when I was sick, I had never seen the show before then I started watching when Outlaws was first shown) I just liked Claire, and I liked Sawyer. And the more I liked the both of them the more I liked the idea of the both of them together. Then it became an addiction.

4. When you Come Back Down- Lifehouse.

5. A super hot make-out scene. But that probably will never be. So i'm going to say... A fighting scene with the two of them. I'd be nice to see that because I think It would be interesting and show a lot about their personalities. Then followed by a super hot make-out scene, Haha. Juuust kidding.

I've never been a PB&J fan, so this is a wonderful alternative. I really can't stand Charlie (apologizes to all Charlie fans), and I adore Claire. This is a great ship for me because Sawyer's one of my favorites, and so is Claire. (There aren't many people on the island I don't like, but there are some).

I used to love the sweetness of PB&J and I still kind of do, but it reminds me so much of a guy with a crush more then an adult relationship. Just from watching the one Claire flashback episode it was clear to see that she's pretty savvy and she's dealt with adult issues in relationships.

Charlie has never even been in an adult relationship. Whereas Sawyer has, him and Claire are on the same level in that aspect.

I think that Sawyer and Claire just have that edge, like Charlie is just clinging to Claire. The only indication we've been given that Claire likes him back is the Diary entry. The rest of her behaviour is how you would treat a very good friend.

Sawyer and Claire's brief encounters oozed chemistry. And yep I'll post the original kiss manip up for guys. There's 2! lol

Hannah, well atleast you're not shipping ConMama just to get Sawyer out of the way. Some people ship people together just so they can get them out of the way, which I think is stupid. I ship Sack (or JackSun), but it's not because I want Jack to get out of the way for Skate. I really like Jack and Sun together.

I don't see actively shipping someone to just move them out of the way of your preferred ship; it doesn't make sense to me. Besides, it's just what we want to see happen, it doesn't really matter if your ships overlap.

Okay, here's a little mini LiveJournal FAQ. My apologies if my help is a little muddled. I'm not very good at explaining things.

To create a journal: Go to LiveJournal (http://www.livejournal.com). Underneath 'Want to learn more?' on the homepage, click on 'Create'. Fill out the form, follow the instructions, and you should have a journal.

To post in a community: Go to 'Update Journal', write out a post as you normally would, then down at the very bottom (right next to the 'Update Journal' button) there should be a little menu where you can choose where to post your entry. Select 'conmama' and then click on 'Update Journal'. Voila. (You can spell check and preview your entries before you post them.)
