Is Evie Weird?

Dont get me wrong or anything, Evie is my fave actress/character from the show but when I see her in interviews (ie Leno, Letterman) she seems really.... different than most actress you see. I dunno if it's that she's too blunt or says things she shouldn't say sometimes but am I the only one who thinks she's a total nut? lol. In the best way, of course.

She is naturally goofy...I love natural goofballs...she isnt this "overly professoinal serious actress who tries to be sexy all the time" type of person...she seems natural and down to earth...and yes a goofball LOL

I think it's good she's differ'nt. Wouldn't want her to be some stupid sluty stereotypical 'sexy' actress, if you know what I mean. I'm sick of those actresses these days. They're just so annoying. She's refreshing.

I love it cause she's fresh, I'm sure some of it is cause she's a new actres to the spotlight and they haven't "trained" her to be a certain way but I hope they don't I hope that she stays the same way she is with the spunk and everything

hmm...you think she's weird? that never even crossed my mind...probably cause I have friends who act like that and I act like that too,lol I personally love her interviews on talk shows because she talks about stuff that's actaully interesting and is not boring( I watched an interview with Nicole Kidman on Leno the other way...wow now she's boring...) Neways...I hope Evie stays this way, cause I personally like her attitude and the fact that she's not afraid to be witty or honest in interviews:)

I love watching Evie interviews, because she's real. She's not just saying what she supposed to say. She's always smiling and is very animated when telling stories, as other's have said some of the actors are boring in interviews it seem like they reheared what they were going to say and just say it.

I hope she doesn't change either. I'd rather see an actor that's down to earth and more like every one else.

I have seen most of the cast in interviews and none of them gave what I would think of as 'typical' interviews.. They all seem so natural and at home in front of the camera. Maybe its because they are new to it (except maybe Dom but then the fact that he is used to it is a plus.) None of them seem to be intimidated by it all.

And they were ALL funny.

I just thought it was kinda weird when she was on letterman and she said something like "does it look like i need help getting a date?" and i was like, well you're not supposed to say that!

hehe well lets be honest...she's very pretty and I think she's aware of that...she doesn't go around saying "Look how hot I am..." but she just said that cause she said somebody came up to her and asked her if she actually calls those dating hotlines she does commercials for and she said "well does it looks like i need help getting a date"...cause only really really desperate people call those hotlines,lol

I thought it was funny when she said on Ellen that she didn't pass her driving test, the guy thought she was cute...my response to that was "If you've got it...use it..." lol

I think she is just a really natural person. She's not like the other actresses these days that have a 'fake' side. I respect her for not changing her whole personalitly because the show is a hit. She seems like a really nice person.

I agree with everything that is said about her being down to Earth, and just far out cool! I mean when I saw her interviews, weird didn't even cross my mind. I thought of her as being herself and not putting on a show like the rest of those actors/actresses. If I could hang out with anyone from Lost for a day, it would have to be Evie! :D

I agree with Sawyer_Kate_Crazy!!!! I would rather spend a day with her, vs. anyone else on the show because of the way she acts. She is such a natural person. I think I would feel more comfortable hanging out with her than anyone else. Well maybe Matt, but thats just because he's a cutie!!!

She isnt weird at all she is a down to earth funny girl she is comfortable in front of the camera she is very natural and real i deffentally admire that she is such a role model someone you would want to be your best friend gotta love her she is #1 for sure!! :D

I totally agree. It never even crossed my mind to think of her as weird, becuase between my friends and myself, we act like that everyday! She is just such an adorable person...and i love how she brings out the sillyness in people. I absolutely adored her on Ellen..."I didnt pass my driving test...the guy just thought i was cute!" and her face when she broke the set was priceless! Between her, Josh, and Jorge, those would be the three people i would love to spend a day with on the set!

I have not been lucky enough to see her on anything in real life but she sounds excellent..someone I could defiently get along with cause I am offbeat and goofy myself. I could not give a damn what people think either. At least she is being natural, she does not need to act sexy...she is and has a personality..which a lot of acctresses are somehow void of..WAY TO GO EVIE :D :banana: !!
