Okay... this came up in a J/K shipper song thread a while back, and I really wanted to make a Jate music video to this song, "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaack. Warning: I went slow motion and sepia crazy on this one. I just had to try something different, so I made it all in sepia... it's like uncovering an antique video buried in the ground, you put it on, and much to your surprise... it's Jate goodness! :lotsalove Some parts go slow... especially in the beginning where there are some long fireside chats going on. But at the same time, the song rhythm kind of lends itself to those long, drawn out scenes. What I wanted to capture with this video is the obvious connection and the longing between Jack and Kate... often seen in the way they look at each other... so various eye glances are in here. Also, in classical Kim-video fashion, it ends rather abruptly. Gotta love me! Enjoy! :D

Hello everybody, I've put together a short sort-of trailer for season 2. :)

It's (on purpose) only one minute long and I wanted to create something with a bit more energy. The song I used is "The Tension and the Terror" by Straylight Run and I just thought it would fit Jack&Kate perfectly.

I also made a longer video to the same song, so if anyone would be interested I could upload that one too. Just ask ;)

(Oh! And the "After 1 Year, it now begins" bit at the beginning obviously refers to the one year we've been watching these two now, - I know they've only spent about a month and a half on the island ;)

Hey everyone, here's my newest video! (I am again posting it here instead of the Creative forum, because I'm getting more feedback when I'm adressing the Jaters directly ;)) I hope you understand.

It's a trailer-like video for season 2, but with a bit of a different approach on the Jack&Kate dynamic - at least I hope that this will come across in the video ;)

It's about 11 MB and 2 minutes long (trailer length...) and I hope everyone will enjoy it. (I really need an upgrade when it comes to the video programming I use, I apologize if this video comes across as very

I made this video because I realized that everyone on the island would really be lost if he wasnt there. He always trying to save others, fix them and maybe its time that he's the one whose saved( thats where Jate comes in) :) . So this video is about jack and his journey! Jate is incorporated of course and last how he has given everyone on the island real hope through the good and bad! jack the hero:) . Hope you enjoy it! As I said I love feedback, its great! Okay, these two are definitely the last videos I'll do in the whole preview/promo style, but I just needed those two concepts I had out of my mind, before starting something else ;)

The first one - DARE YOU TO MOVE - is a really short look at Jack & Kate (barely a minute long!) but I wanted the video to have the feel of something that could be used more as a short LOST character-dynamic-commerical than a real trailer. (7 MB)

Since there are waaay to few Jate videos out there, I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to create a thread where we can recommend, link to and talk about Jate videos.

I know there are a lot of great videos out there which don't get much attention, because they aren't posted here or in the Creative Forum, so maybe we could change that.

I will start with a video I found on LVI: It's called "Surrender" and was done by Di. When I first watched it, my mouth was hanging open - it's just so great. She took a lot of scenes out of their original context and gave them a completely new meaning. Amazing work!

Hello my fellow Jaters, I made this video today about Kates journey and how jack came in to her world of grey and gave it color or meaning again:) After you watch the video you'll understand what I mean.lol. I should have been studying for my government mid term but I couldnt resist making a new video!! The song is "Colorblind" by Counting Crows, I thought it was a beautiful song and that it gave some emotion to my video. Your welcome!!! The only problem is that the forum doesnt allow banners to be larger than 100 x 100, I believe. I had a large graphic when I first joined and they banned it because it exceeded the required "banner size". :( It sucks but just wanted to let you know, in case it happens to you! :) :)

lol its not a stupid question! :)
Most computers have windows movie maker which is what i use to make videos. You just import either individual video clips or whole episodes which get broken down into smaller clips, and then the song you want to use. Then it's pretty simple from there, there are instructions on windows movie maker if you get stuck..

This video is to the song 'Going Under' by Evanescence and though it isn't a Jate vid but more of a triangle vid, I figured I can post it here because Jate is an important factor in it. (It's kind of about Kate facing her demons and is set mainly in and around WKD)
