Definately a stereogram or optical trick. Also not sure that it matters bur bigspaceship.com without the 1 is a web design / marketing company for movies etc. So maybe they are in on it now too. Gotta have someone keeping up with all this fictional content and updates ...

The morse code is back to the original Star Wars reference as well. Looks like the optical illusion was made by Akiyoshi Kitaoka. I found his webpage here. (http://www.ritsumei.ac.jp/~akitaoka/index-e.html) Though I doubt that is has anything to do with the show, he's an Associate Professor of Psychology at the College of Letters, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan.

I just stumbled across bigspaceship1by mistake. The morse code title now reads "TO THE LAND OF THE LOST"

If you look at the ip of the website then do a whois on that you get to
www.smartdust.com

which just has the words smartdust on it.

So i looked it up on wikipedia

This is my first time posting and I had to post what I saw.
I dont think anyone caught this but for about 30 mins the website did change and all it said was "smartdust". Looked at the source and all it said was "smartdust".

So I looked up smartdust and what I found was VERY interesting:

"Smartdust is a network of tiny wireless microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS), robots, or devices, installed with wireless communications, that can detect anything from light and temperature, to vibrations, etc."

It took me a while to realise that's what was being said on that strange sound clip that's currently being played on bigspaceship1.com. I presumed it was something made especially for this site as I'd never heard anything like it before, has anyone else??

Anyway, I searched around a bit and found this site http://www.spynumbers.com/WBNY.html which indicates that this is/was a real transmission heard on the east coast of the US.

The spynumbers site is dedicated to the understanding of strange radio transmissions. It doesn't seem clear what the purpose of the Rodent Revolution transmissions were. Maybe just a joke, or maybe more?

But it got me thinking about THE numbers and whether this is a clue to what they mean. And how does it all tie in to the Dharma / Hanso thing. But my head is really hurting now and I've got to stop and have a lie down.

I think i might be looking too much into this and that the makers of the show just thought it would be fun to put that recording on there.

Anyone have any ideas?

they had a S L O W E R version up earlier that was MUCH easier to understand.. in fact, i think its still on one of the links in several previous posts.. one by me.. way back in season one i remember the whole theory about THE numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42) as being spy numbers.. but i dont think anything really came of it..

im getting the heartbeat now too.. whereas 5 mins ago i got the red rabbit and the 'make your own kind of music' song..

also, the heartbeat at some points seems to stutter.. would this be morse code of some type?.. i dont know morse, but it could be worth a listen?..

So I just checked out www.bigspaceship1.com ....and it has a flash animation of 2 polar bears. these polar bears are mirror images of each other. the animation starts with each bear on opposites sides of the screen. the bears then move towards each other..and when they cross in the center of the screen, a red dot appears for a split second. I was able to pause the animation at the point of the red dot....and to my surprise I noticed the red dot had some text in it. I then zoomed the animation, and took a screen cap. here it is...

its a parody of marvin. its not really him. its a coincidence that 'lost.php' gives you that error message. ANY wrong site on his site gives you that error message. Also, this guy OWNS ipodnews, according to whois info.

I know its a parody I didnt mean Marvin was actually talking lol
and also it does have something to do with lost...and that is the numbers they are in there...why the hell would they be in there if it wasnt of any relevence to the show?
