Oh. My. God.

So many things--theories and whatnot, are running through my head right now. I'm gonna start thinking of things to ask GHOST, I suggest you guys do the same. Post 'em on here, and we'll start getting together a "master list". Once that happens and we put it ON HERE, all we have to do then is cut/paste the responses to save them. We should really choose one of us to do that and the other two ask questions, cause so far we haven't saved any of it. And I don't know about you guys, but I forget things easily. :D

More last minute shopping tonite--I will get on, I just don't know when :) This is the time when the holidays start to suck again. :D Then, on Christmas Eve day, they'll start to rock again. :D

Sound good coco, but errr, I LIKE asking questions. Lol Haha, but I think its a good idea. He seemed to talk about the mural last night. I'm wondering now if the St Anthony pic and the mural could have any connection? Ohhh that will be my question for next time!!!

Coco, you made me feel better about the holidays! I'm so stressed right now, but I didn't think about everything rocking again once the shoppings done. Thanks for the light at the end of the tunnel!

I haven't taken chemistry since high school (art major), but it was longer than the above. Maybe a longer way of writing the same?

Well, it looks like a compound of iron and the nitrite ion (NO2) but I cant remember the entire formula (seems like a 6 was in there somewhere - 6FeNO2?) and I have searched the whole forum and cant find it. I know it's here somewhere! :mad: But doing a search on Iron Nitrite doesnt come up with much so it may have another name (ferric or ferrous nitrite?) :confused:

I'm just a fan, like Hodag, trying to make the hiatus a little more fun. With the debunking of the Copenhagen image, though, I'm not going to continue. Sorry to disappoint.

I made the Roskilde and Zealand images after that one surfaced, and based a lot of it on stuff I learned on Copenhagen (ie, the image's names being places in Denmark, Humbaba & leviathan, etc.), as well a lot of stuff about Apollo "walt" said in the BSS1 chat. I just took stuff that I thought would be spoilerish information and added them into a few images I did in paint. Then I pretended to be "walt" to distribute them, and then again last night to drop some hints. I am not, however, the same "walt" that people call "real".

Funen was going to be ready just in time for Christmas. It was going to be another block image, then a fairly humorous scan I did up of a Hanso Christmas newsletter from Noel R. Midgard debunking everything. With the steganography stuff already having been proven false, though, it won't be as fun...so I'm not going to do it.

Anyway, sorry for the hoax! I just thought it'd be fun to dig through some things until the show surfaced. I'm gullible, so I thought "walt" and Copenhagen were official sources of information, so I didn't add much of my own things--just tidbits of my own interpretations...and maybe Leucothea and Artemis' boar. I was thrilled when my pictures finally surfaced, so I decided to lead some people in the "right" direction, hense the "mole" name.

But yeah, I apologize. Just trying to make this boring break a little more interesting!

Yeah, it was Lisa (in response). But thinking about it more, I don't think it's Javi. If anything, maybe a PA of some sort. Remember, we asked him something along those lines last night, about who he worked for. Well, I actually asked who or what. He said who, I believe, and made it out that he was some sort of assitant. Again, this is all from memory, so if anyone can remember more, feel free to jump in. :)

And Eck, Lisa, I'm totally willing to be the "secretary" here, if y'all want. :)I just don't know how much I'll be on until the holidays are over, soo......

And Eck :D Dude, look on the bright side. That's what's keeping me going right now. :D Actually, after I log off here I'm gonna go get ready to go to the mall. Even though it is during the daytime, I know it's gonna be a mad house:eek: ! And I'm one of those wierd girls that doesn't always like to shop. :D Well, ok, I do, but only if it's just me in the store or something. I'm claustrophobic, so crowds give me the willies, big time. :D But the worse part for me in all this is wrapping. I HATE wrapping. :D

I'm hoping I'll get to see you guys and GHOST tonight. But I really cant guarantee anything.

And yeah, with the Copenhagen thing revealed as a hoax, I am sooo paranoid now, LOL :D

* that was the air date the episode 2x09: "What Kate Did" (at the end of which; walt chats with mike via the COMPUTER) the post was last edited a few minutes before the episode aired at 9:00 EST. since then i've had to explain how my hack of the hanso networks bypassed dr. candel's restriction on only typing when the alarm was sounding. i had been chatting with the LOST computer's agent for a while by that point in development of the LXTP module. i was pleased to see the chat appear in the episode. it lent creadence to my accomplishmet!

since then i have figured out relatively little. i realise that some of you might view the site as simply a "reasonably interesting simulation of the COMPUTER" i honestly can't tell you it amounts to much more than that. the counter counts down, you push the button. there doesn't have to me more than that. -but there is! check my blogs on myspace or use the LXICON commands in the COMPUTER. the LXTP module has a number of set commands that i was able find out by study of the packets sent and recieved from my server -> to the hanso networks -> to the hatch LAN. some 11,385.41 kilometers away. please don't mind the lag.

LXicon, I was able to enlarge the rodent revolution picture and it has a word hidden in it MOOD (Doom backwards???) Anyway I typed that in and it brings up a graph for ' Graph of last week for Alex' Dated 12-23-05 at 1:28pm it is 1:48pm EST now??? What does it mean???

Execute you seem like you're putting your chem studies to work! (i HATED chem, too much memory work for me. i dropped out of applied physics after realising that doing your multiple-choice chem midterms with a 10 sided D&D die wasn't the best way to spend tuition money (1,2=answerA ; 3,4=answerB ; 5,6=answerC ; 7,8=answerD ; 9,10=answerE) ... the T.A. saw me rolling dice on my term paper and just shook his head and walked away ... i got 60% on it though!

anyway, i dropped out, did campus radio for a bit, then took a 2 year AV/Multimedia college course and it's amazing how much better your marks get when you enjoy the courses!

:D And get this--I had my husband (who also has a chemistry degree, but doesnt use it much, he's in environmental health and safety at a pharmaceutical co.) in here working on it too when he got home from work, lol. :D He couldnt figure it out either. It just dont work. (He got better grades than me. :o )

i only enrolled in applied physics 'cause i got 100% in OAC (grade 13) physics - i loved free body digrams when calcualting force vectors on tests. mine were always in full colour with little added stuff (like a fisherman in the boat crossing the river with X current, Y surface area, Z coeficient of resistance)

* my teacher even put me into one of the questions, it went something like :
"alex is driving in his car, down the wrong way on a one way street at speed (whatever). mary-liz is driving towards him at a speed of (whatever) and is (whatever) meters away when alex sees her. being the astute physicist that he is; alex knows that deceleration is the same as accelreation in reverse! so he throws the car into R and the fuzzy dice hanging from his rear view mirror swing to an angle of (whatever) degrees.
will they crash?"
* the answer was no btw.

The only thing I can find on it is something I had already seen (and I remember someone else mentioned the same site) about fractional exhaled nitrous oxide (which means that FENO is only an abbreviation and that FE has nothing to do with Fe {iron} ).
Adding the numbers in there makes me think it's more of a chemical formula but I cant find anything on it. I cant figure out where the 2 comes from. Adding a number in the front normally means it's 2 molecules of that compound but should be written 2(FeNO)6 or 2(FeNO6)but what's the 6??? I'm baffled.
If I could remember how to write formulas I could probably figure it out (provided there is something to figure out, lol.) The only connection I can find is that FENO is a test or something for asthma, which is what Shannon had.

ok 2FENO6, i'm going to write out some formulas for you guys since I just learned all of them completely!

first, if it IS a chemical formula then it is definitely Iron, Nitrogen and Oxygen, but iron is Fe with a little e, rather than FE with a cap e. Ok here are some:

*forgive any mistakes in NAMING!*
- Iron nitrogen oxide FeNO, when using the +2 charge of Nitrogen
about the FeN part, it could be Iron nitride, i found a link that talks about the use of it, says it is used for coating stuff: http://www.ms.ornl.gov/htmlhome/rsuc/iron.html

And about whether if its 2(FENO6) or 2(FENO)6, according to chemical formulas, it should be 2(FENO)6 because
Nitrogen has charges +3 -3 +5 +4 and +2
And Oxygen has a charge of only -2
So the formula FENO6 would not work because it would mean the 6 has to multiply to the -2 of oxygen and them balance with N, and since in the formula, N has no subscript or number in front, it means nothing multiplies its charges. and 12 or the Oxygen does not balance with neither charge of the N...please let this be understood...i tried my best! hehe. so out of 2(FENO6) and 2(FENO)6, it has to be 2(FENO)6

Ok carrying on: 2FE(NO)6 could also be correct because, first NO can combine with a +2 charge of Nitrogen, and -2 charge of Oxygen, giving NO no net charge. THEN, iron (Fe) has charges of 2, 3 and 6. Since NO has no net charge, the subscript 6 in Fe(NO)6 <-- can be given to NO, giving it a net charge of 6. It can then combine with the +6 charge of Fe, making Fe(NO)6.

Now the overall 2 in front, as told before could be a multiple of the WHOLE compound used to balance with other compounds in a chemical equation...but that would mean there is another compound we're not told of.

OK there's my $0.2, hope it made sense!

So for Iron, it would be 2, 8, 16 yup.
and its 26 protons/electrions, and (55.845-26) = ~30 neutrons.
Because atomic number = # of protons
and atomic mass = # of protons + neutrons.

Um I'm not sure of magnetism YET due to grade 11 academic chemistry. But, there are alpha rays, beta rays and gamma rays, which induce radioisotopes and create radioactivity.

LOL, it was impossible... Not so much getting the questions organized, it was just so crowded last night.. There was so much crosstalk that the questions disappeared before Walt could read them and thus, answer them.

Maybe the person just typed that. If you actually type the words "drowned" in your text, it converts them to the normal washed ashore/drowned format, with the time and all.

(Just have to say I TOTALLY cannot spell "drowned" without making typos every time and correcting them, LOL)

just thinking maybe that the 6 in teh "2fen06" think could be an isotope of the nitrogen atom but if i can remeber, iron is around the stable section of the periodic table and that coz its in the first half before lead it would be used for a fusion reaction as appose to fission, which is VERY unstable, which is why scientists are still trying to develop a method of containing the blast and energy given out. Me and Coco were swapped...we "bolked" instead of "Borked"...I suggested using a J to identify myself and C for Coco, and then they took my ability to type "J" away, and took her ability to type C away... they changed Coco into Jade, Jaded, Jayd, Jade3-1357-13587, and me into Coconot, Conair, Sans Hair, and then we were all IAMCONNER...wow...mass hysteria in the chat tonight, folks. :D

Whoever was doing it, I think they've done it to me before.

Like, 2 or 3 days after the chat first opened, I had the whole situation with my name changing around and multiple Coconut's coming in. THAT could have been anyone. However, I also got a message ("You Jumped The Shark!!!!!!") just like the "QUIET" messages last nite. He/She/They also changed my typing to where I was with orange words, like Walt, and then was putting *'s between each of my words.

So it seems to be that I've had another run in with the fickle and funny owners of our beloved chat. Question is, did this "run in" have a purpose---were we supposed to do something, or was it just whoever borking around with us?

I still have to say, it was kinda spooky to see big white letters--KILL WALT--on the screen. Like a bad horror movie. :D

She also talked about the "incident" on the island and that Joop was alive and would be for many years to come. She said she was at Station4. Lets see....did I forget anything?

She said she would be back, and gave me a code so I would know it was not her and an imposter.

Gosh, I LOVE this place. :D Even if it's not real, it's tons of freakin' fun! :D

The husband, like his wife, began to go somewhat senile. He tried to kill Marvin, but he barely escaped. So, he was all alone in Station 3 entering the code.

Danielle was the wife, and the husband was a novelist...his pen name was Calvin Paik.

Anyways, another boat landed on the island. Yet again, few survived but we managed to capture a few and inject them. One of them we could have captured but we chose not to. His name was Desmond, he found the hatch and as you know assisted Calvin.

Calvin, when he discovered the hatch that Marvin was living in, found a stash of anabolic steroid injections. He never used them until Desmond came, and they injected eachother, because they noticed the quarantine sign on the hatch. Calvin chose to go outside and search for answers to the island. His immune system just shut down on him. He died. Desmond never left the hatch, scared that he would become ill too. The ones we didn't capture were dead or badly injured from the impact of landing onto the island.

Well I don't know who or how I offended anyone, but my Work IP doesn't and whenever I try to log on at Home, the chat shuts down my router so that I have to power it down and back up again. Which really sucks because for the 2 minutes I was in there, they said I was really entertaining.

Anyone have ANY Clue as to why the chat room shuts down my Cable Modem? I mean I cant even get Google without having to reset the modem.

Why would they need that for quarantine? Anabolic steroids are for body building--they're not antibiotics or vaccines. BUT, this could explain why Ethan et al seemed to have such superhuman strength.

I will have to agree. There are a few inconsistencies in the story. Did the first Karen/Walt say that Desmond and Jack were her sons. I think someone scripted this out in advance and backwards typed the script.

Oh, and about the not being able to log in as your regular name bit... do you guys remember the guy in the chat the one night named Setzer??? He had access to some page that lists every username that is active in the chat. There are a whole bunch right now that are either locked out or something, because it's a whole lot longer than it was when I first saw it.

I think maybe those who "monitor" (as GHOST put it) might also clean that up, and since they're off right now it's backlogged.

Although saying that...the chat lasted a good while after that, well for me anyway...and then finally crashed.

Yeah...hopefully they will make it more protected...maybe sort it out so we know someone is deffinetly who they say they are? Or maybe they want to keep it so there can be imposters...who knows....

If it does come back...and it still allows imposters, i think a code would most deffinetly be the best way to make sure everyone is who they say they are...

Nice one :). Maybe they just shut it down to give the people running it some time over New Year? It was getting helluva busy...with people tweaking at it too...probably would be best to just shut down at such a busy time of year? That will also give them the chance to update and try and protect it more.

I missed him too, Lisa. The chat froze shortly after everyone borked. I didn't even "bwhahaha" to the bork, because I was in another room. :(

Topnotch told me GHOST asked for us, but I didn't see it cause I was cooking.

And if you could... It would be great to create a character in the show named Jade too, :) Just a backstory person, that would show that you really really love us and you could have that character say borkfish in the show !!! I have ZERO knowledge when it comes to PHP, HTML, SQL and the like. What we had planned never even took off do to problems on Tops end.

I honestly didn't think we'd get anywhere anyway. Despite the fact that parts of the site were "unguarded" (hence, all the drowning), they obviously didn't let critical parts of the page be vulnerable.

For that, I am thankful. Even though it would have been nice to be able to "bouncy" the idiots and trolls, I would rather be granted the privilege as apposed to stealing it, kwim?

That said, I hope that the chat is restored soon, and I also hope that the creators learned a little something.... Like, what determined LOST fans will do :D in order to try and restore order to the chat that they love, since Walt is no longer there to protect us.

ok this sucks. i haven't had time over the holidays to go on the chat:( I finally got a chance, started looking through the recent posts (still got a lot to go) and see that some really cool stuff has happened since the chat has been back - and then the one night i can chat (my aunt and uncle are coming in tomorrow) I go to log on finally and it's gone again!!! Arghhh. And what is this about no borking? I am getting confused about the posts - but i still like the borking lol:) I hope the chat comes back though i finally graduated so I have time to chat. I also think that the thing with codes are good. Anyway, I hope to talk to you guys on the chat soon!

sorry about the double post since the other wasn't so long ago, but is completely different anyway. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned from what I caught up on so far it hasn't. Anyway I finally was able to view the source code (had to find a way to do it it wasn't working evidently the updated windows sp2 doesn't let you with the view menu anymore) and the link to the popup chat is still there, only it is between comment tags:



so it won't work. I'm not sure which the address is it is trying to open because there are 2 php files but neither work (directory: /hansomil/intro.php) I am going to mess around with the code and see if i can get anything. But most likely they took the php page down anyway prob is that you cant really test php offline. And its not calling the php function to open the window. It's been awhile since I took JavaScript i'd have to look up how to do it
