When you play the Lost trivia game on ABC.com http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/games/trivia/index.html

you get behind the scenes shots of the cast. One of them is Dom, Evie and Naveen sitting in director's chairs listening to Ipods.

http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/games/trivia/bonus/4.jpg

there was also another thread about an Ipod in one of the crash scenes when Kate was sitting on a log or something and eating, the Ipod is sitting next to her... I am sure Apple is a huge sponsor of the show and this is just publicity. - But it sure is FUN!

I'm certain that the ipodnews.com website is a genuine, proper website about ipods. The site was registered in 2002. I think the owner of the ipod site and bigspaceship1.com site, Matthew something, has started playing with us and really has nothing to do with the show officially, but wants us to think that he has. The Narvik Mining advert looked "tacked on" to me. The extensive (>20,000 pages, according to Google) website has clearly been around for ages and has nothing to do with Lost. My thinking now is that this Matthew guy has created the bigspaceship1.com website and shown some funny pics and animations and has now linked it to one of his own existing websites with a dodgy advert for Narvik Mining hastily added in.

The only thing I don't get - why bigspaceship1.com was mentioned in thehansofoundation.org - a site created by the Lost team.

^ I agree. It's not official.

So how to get on hansofoundation.org?... a hack into the https service?

kiko
10-11-2005, 06:23 PM
well maybe the ipod site is real...even a little legit
it could be that for publicity they got lost's producers to put some hidden things in it...
do u realise how many ppl probably went onto the site already and started reading stuff???

Well the alternative text for the Narvik ad is: Narvik Mines - Your friendly source for heavy metal and magnetic ore. If you're ever in Narvik, just drop in!

This is what I get as a mine there:

LKAB NARVIK ORE HARBOR,
Boks 314, NO-8501 Narvik, Norway
Phone: Int.+47 769 238 00. Fax: Int. +47 769 449 25
Telex: +56-64022 LKABN N
Bjørnar Solvang, General Manager
– Industrial operation 26
– Factors in the world around LKAB 28
Ten-year overview 30
Report of the Directors 32

And what they produce:

Hematite: (= bloodstone, red iron ore). Non-magnetic iron ore (Fe 2 O 3 ).
Magnetite: Magnetic iron ore (Fe 3 O 4 ).

NOW, if my Chemistry is still okay, 2fen06 should be 2 Fe N O6 (since technically Fe doesn't need the subscript 2 in this case to specify what form of iron it is because that's the only kind that can bond with Oxygen 3). That means that two molecules of Fe2NO3 are bonded to make a compound of Magnetite, I honestly can't remember that well since it's been a bit; but correct me if I'm awlfully wrong.

So, this can relate to the Dharma project on Electromagnetic Research Initiative, which also might relate to that big magnetic thing in 201 where Jack's key is attracted...

Locke Scythe: morse code

Locke Scythe: well
Locke Scythe: figure it out
Locke Scythe: lol
lavk ian: they probably got this specific recording off the conet project
lavk ian: numbers stations!
lavk ian: that's what they're called
Locke Scythe: well
Locke Scythe: know how to crack it?
Locke Scythe: aka translayion?
lavk ian: no, numbers stations arent meant to be cracked, and so they can't be
lavk ian: it involves a random assigning of numbers to letters
lavk ian: i.e. 1 = x

Lockescythe

The other night me and my girl went bowling
The other night me and my girl went bowling
Went to a place called joe's that's where everybody goes

When we walked in she turned every face in the place
When we walked in she turned every face in the place
A cool number jumped up and made a play for my girl
I said "come on boy"

I said "don't mess with me cos i got a cast iron arm"
I said "don't mess with me cos i got a cast iron arm"
"oh when you you mess with me that only rings my alarm"

Well the music was a-rockin' and the place was a-jumpin' with jive
Well the music was a-rockin' and the place was a-jumpin' with jive
Well the same cool number made the same wrong move
I hit him in the head

I said "don't mess with me cos i got a cast iron arm"
I said "don't mess with me cos i got a cast iron arm"
"oh when you you mess with me that only rings my alarm"

I found something interesting, look at the north west direction of the rodents ear, about 5cm up, you will see a black circle, if you zoom in enough, it makes out to a transmission tower beaming a radiowave (the circle), I think anyway. Don't know if it was there before, just spotted it then.

I'll post a pick up soon.

http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/6674/trans4jn.th.png (http://img296.imageshack.us/my.php?image=trans4jn.png)

You have to look very closely, like 5cm from your screen.

Cheers,

Daniel.

flysti
10-12-2005, 04:44 AM
It's not on the rat, look at my picture that I attached, it's in the black space above and right of the rat. If you can extract just that greyish colour, then you will be able to see what it is. There isn't and discolouration anywhere besides that spot on that page, it's something.

Cheers,

Daniel.

Oh blimey... lots to tell here.

First of all... Hello folks this is my first post on this forum. You seem like a nice bunch so I thought I would share what I have just worked out about the "mouse on cheese" picture.

First off, there is LOADS of hidden info in the picture. Others cleverer than me at the Television Without Pity forums found a 42 just next to the mouses nose.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jon.roberts/mouse1.jpg

and then someone even cleverer found this (which I have just cropped and lowered the quality to save file size)....http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jon.roberts/mouse2b.jpg

First off let me say that both of these are genuine and can be found for yourselves with PaintShop Pro or Photoshop just by playing around with the Contrast and Brightness settings.

But there is more... As you can see there is a map hidden in the picture although it is difficult to read and make out any place names I have worked it out. The map is of Paris (France not Texas) and the main North South road is called the Avenue George V. The spot on the map appears to be indicating building number 15 on Avenue George V. I believe (but cannot confirm) that this is the address of the Crazy Horse Saloon which is a famous French arty-strip joint that has been around for over 100 years.

Not sure what all this tells us but it gives us more to think about!:D

If this in fact was not done by you and you are just passing it along.. i think that the 2nd part with the meeting info and map is bogus.. i work with photoshop professionally and brought it into there and played with the settings and was not able to find anything of the sorts.. i also decompiled the flash and there is nothing in there except the image and the shape for the 42... so the rodent meeting and map is bogus im afraid

Untrue. I print screened the site and played around with the contrast and brightness, and at a certain point i was able to get the above image.

The 42 is found on the image found at:

The rodent message & map is found at:

Both look the same, but have different information in each. How weird!!

Plus - did anyone ever find out what the 2FEN06 meant in the polar bear animation?

Doogz
10-12-2005, 10:34 AM
@Ne0Ge013

It is 100% real

If your using Photoshop (CS) print screen the page, open in photoshop, adjust the brightness/contrast to read

Brightness 24
Contrast 100

Not sure if the the figures will be the same in older version of Photoshop though.

But it is there clear as day!

@flipfloppa

France is (i think) 6 hours ahead, I'm in the UK and over here Lost would be airing in America at 3am local time (5 hours ahead)

I, with the help of my friend, located the place on the map.

It's "Crazy Horse" in Paris!!

 Sorry, maybe I did not make myself clear enough...

1. As I said... "Others cleverer than me at the Television Without Pity forums found" and then "then someone even cleverer found" which I thought made clear that I had not done these things myself and was just passing it on to this forum as no-one had mentioned them yet.

2. As I then later said... "First off let me say that both of these are genuine and can be found for yourselves with PaintShop Pro or Photoshop just by playing around with the Contrast and Brightness settings." because, as others have also clearly discovered, I know it is not "Bogus" as I have done it myself.

3. The important bit I was claiming as my own discovery was the location that the map indicates. This has now been verified by loads of folks on this and other website forums but I think I was the first as I posted it within about 15 minutes of the first mention of the map being found.

Excellent find! They look *similar* but not the same. The background is textured differently. Cool.

I think the background texture looks different in my version only because I used a bit of JPEG compression to reduce the file size. At full size mine looks pretty much identical to yours.

By the way, to anyone still sceptical, I have found another easier way to display this stuff on your own pc. Instead of mucking about with brighness and contrast settings simply use your art programs "Edge Detect" or "Edge Enhance" feature. You will need to apply the effect 3 or 4 times but suddenly it should all become very clear!

Enjoy!

SO..... we have found this info now. What do you think it means? The Rodent Revolution is behind this and they are all meeting at a bar tonight to watch the show? Is there anyone from France on this forum that is going to go?

This is a type of Steganograph. Basically a message 'hidden in plane view'. The problem is if if was really supposed to be secret it is REALLY easy to have the message hidden in 'noise' put into the image and accessable ONLY by password.

This is pretty available technology (free) and can be easily used.

In other words we were meant to see these messages.

That said, what could thid Paris meeting actually mean? Were there ever any hsitorical meetings there? Will there actually be a meeting there at "22:00 local time?". hm...On October 12th, according to the wonderful Wikipedia...
* Yom Kippur begins at sunset in Judaism
* Dussehra begins in Hinduism
* Hispanic Day in Spain and Día de la Resistencia Indígena in Venezuela.
* 1810: The first Oktoberfest was held in Munich, to celebrate the wedding of Prince Ludwig I of Bavaria.
* 1859: Self-described "Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico" Joshua A. Norton 'ordered' the United States Congress to dissolve.
* 1984: The Provisional Irish Republican Army failed in its attempt to assassinate British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and most of her cabinet in the Brighton hotel bombing.
* 1999: A military coup in Pakistan led by General Pervez Musharraf ousted the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
* 2002: A series of car bombs exploded in Bali, Indonesia, killing 202 people and injuring a further 209.

and there are links to all these events in more detail... I am off to check each one to see if they have any "Paris at 22:00" or even "Rodent Revolution" relevance!

I stand very much corrected... the brightness/contrast wasnt working for me.. but i did try the levels and was able to see it.. great find! If this has already been figured out, ignore me. :) But if you go to https://ipodnews.com, it redirects to port 19638 and throws up a user admin site.

https://ipodnews.com:19638/webhost/rollout/site. There are some login areas (but no info on which username/passwd to use) and at the bottom are Site Administrator Online Help and User Administrator Online Help. I clicked on user administrator and it's a help section for a product called Ensim. Google says Ensim is "a software solution for hosted services delivery".

Hey.... just noticed something strange. I froze the pic of the bears when they are crossing, and the red dot appears - it almost looks like a front-on picture of a rabbit. The 2 bears' noses would be the ears, and the hands & feet look like they could belong to a chubby rabbit. Might mean nothing, or it could have something to do with the rodents!!

Anyway - check it out:

Dyke - it says 2FEN06 - no idea if it is a compound, or what.

One other thought I had about it - what if the letters should be replaced with their value in the alphabet? That would make the number

2651406 (F = 6, E = 5, and N = 14)

Any idea what that could be anyone?

Hi,

I didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know whether someone has already mentioned that if you change the address:

http://www.thehansofoundation.org/

into a secure address:

https://www.thehansofoundation.org/

you will receive a page displaying only the text: bigspaceship1.com. This proofs that ABC is behind this site. But the funny thing is that if you change also this into a secure address:

https://www.bigspaceship1.com/

you will be redirected to an admin-interface, which I believe isn't a part of ABC's plan:)

He says: Hi guys I went but nothing happened. He talked to lapin (rabbit) for 40 minutes arount 22:00. He says he got there 10 minutes early and describes the building.

He says there were a lot of cops and he waited a half hour.

He then checked the street addresses 4 8 15 16 23 and 42 (!! LOL) and saw nothing but skinheads. He felt out of place.

Nothing happened.

hi guys

I'm Max_le_killer
I saw your messages this afternoon so i decided to go at Avenue George V
But I saw nothing ...
I was there at 21:50 and stayed till 22:30 but nothing happened

I went at the entrance of the crazy horse but saw only japanese people taking pictures of the cabaret ...

at the 15 of the street there was some kind of cocktail with people in smoking and a lot of cops to survey the place but no star at all :(

so i decided to check the 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 of the street but saw nothing at all ...

it's too bad nothing happened i'd have been happy to see anything !

Hello all, first post here but I am officially addicted to this show like the crack-wh@re I am. LOL

Anyhoo... since we're dealing with a lot of Eastern philosophy I was curious what the year of the Rabbit was in Chinese Astrology.... Rabbit is a symbol of LONGEVITY. Hmm... wonder if that will tie into the life-extending part of the Dharma Initiative. Eeeeek!

Loads of bunny imagery and references. Between Sawyer reading "Watership Down" to the general feeling of being in Wonderland with Alice and her white rabbit (and of the Lostaways going down a hole (hatch) and Jack following Desmond (his white rabbit?)... very odd, indeed. well pausing and capturing are 2 diffrenet things.
Pausing:
if its a flash movie like the bears u right click and press forward (that worked for me)

if u mean capturing u press CTRL and PRT SC(print screen)
then u open up paint and click on edit and go to paste (or ctrl+v)
then u save the picture in .JPG (its smaller) and if u want to post it on here sign onto www.photobucket.com and just basically copy and paste the http:// adress it gives u :D:D:D

hope that helpes :D

I checked the flash and there wasn't anything hidden. Only the picutre and the sound. I tried changing RGB and some Gamma/Hue values on Irfanview (not my expertise) but there were no hidden messages there -though I might have done something wrong so..

Hello everybody, i'm french, excuse me if i write not very well, i write into this forum because i think of the first picture with the rabbit, give the time and the place of the rendez vous but not the day, the day is into the message of the second picture with polar bear and the code 2FEN06, for me, this code give the date 2 is the day, F is the month février or february and EN06, "en 2006" or in06 => in 2006, so 2FEN06 give this : at 22:00 local times in Paris, rendez vous in the crazy horse, near George V, at 02 february in 2006. This date not correspond to with the end of tv show in USA ?????? What do you think about my little theory ?

VBKatLou
10-13-2005, 05:36 AM
Read all 40 pages of this thread and it was kind of like watching a TV show itself. I have to say you guys are amazing. Especially the whole thing with the guys in Paris going to the CrazyHorse. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing?

I don't have much to offer that hasn't already been said. But since you seem to be keeping track, it's 6:20 am EST and the polar bears are on again.

I googled Narvic For Life and found a page that offered this tidbit:

http://www.lifeinlegacy.com/2003/WIR20031018.html

Patrick Dalzel-Job - Scottish intelligence specialist and war hero, who as a member of the Royal Navy during WW2 successfully and single-handedly evacuated the Norwegian town of Narvic, moments before it was destroyed by enemy bombers, who served with future writer Ian Fleming, and is said to have been the inspiration for Fleming's most famous character, James Bond, died Oct. 13 in Plockton, Scotland at age 90.

I wonder if the person entering the Morse code is new to it because according to the posts here he's misspelled a few things and then later goes back and corrects them.

I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted yet (this many pages and my mind's a bit fuzzy), but I did a lookup on Big Spaceship llc. It looks like they are a company that creates web sites particularly for the entertainment world. Here's their main page:

http://www.bigspaceship.com/v2.5/

Use the link at the bottom of the page and it takes you to a page that talks about their company.

This link

http://www.webpageawards.com/winners2003/winners-a-k.html

is some kind of awards page. Big Spaceship LLC won quite a few and there's links to their web sites that won.

Well, gotta get ready for work. I hope you all keep checking the site. This is a fun thread to read.

Hey guys! Couldn't get on last nite to talk about the gas mask, gave up after an hour. Glad that things gone--it was freaking me out, LOL!!

Good catch on the "chocolate asclepius" and the Apollo bars, y'all! Is it a hint/clue (ie-official site), or a guess (fan based)? Because we know that the Apollo bars are special--they were shown often enuff, and we know on Lost that nothing is shown repeatedly without there being some special meaning. Same as the gas mask--refrencing Sayid's Chernobyl comment, obviously.

I am officially out of work until next month, so I will be on here all the time and hopefully will catch all and any changes! Awesome job everyone!

But the Revolution message is different, the "rodent" is reading off numbers, I'm trying to catch them now 12, 13, 5, 6, uhm, 11? 2..2...7...8...8...9..?..18..20....8...12...9...19 ...19....5...8....18...15....8..10....4...12..7?.. .10...12...17....17...14...19....18...21...8....6. ..14...19....10?...17?..18....1...6.....12....15? ATTENTION ALL - RE: the 1 800 number posted earlier.....

I emailed the guy at the "pokino rabbit and lab" (www.prfal.com) and he said, they have nothing to do with this site and please stop calling. He said the phone is ringing off the hook. Sooooo stop calling the poor guy and hanging up!

LOL - I am guilty of calling too

EDIT: He just wrote me again -

"Thank you Emilie!
This would make things easier on all if the calls stop …… !!!!!... IT is prepared to call in the Feds to investigate and possibly shut down the site. They advised to give it a day or two and if it continues they will act accordingly. Though it appears to be a harmless effort to figure out what is going to happen in the next episode, it has put a big burden us with all the phone calls, 95% of them being from all this activity. It must be a popular show. Maybe I should start to watch it?
Thanks for you effort and cooperation in this matter."

ekl44fe, yes, I'd found the link to https://web.interchange.ubc.ca/ in the source code for the site http://bigspaceship1.org/ . The full text of that comment is

nl.quicknet = reference lindholm review stats at http://www.interchange.ubc.ca/web-stats/2004/Mar/Mar10.html

If you go to that URL, you see a page of statistics covering access to a web server during 10-Mar-2004. A search for "nl.quicknet" on that page goes to a line showing the number of bytes sent as 481516, which is the first 4 numbers concatinated. There are a number of lines containing "lindholm", but only one of them also has "2342", the remaining 2 numbers.

I dunno what it means, but there it is...

One of these days, I'm gonna try to. Things have been crazy in the "Real world" for me lately (OT: I am now officially unemployed! WOOT! ). Thing is though, is at first glance it looks like a PREVIOUS Rabbit Revolution broadcast and therefore I don't want to waste the time decoding it to realize it's already on SpyNumbers.com. To back this idea up, the site says there haven't been any new broadcasts since May 2nd, 2004. Although it would be awesome if whoever's doing the Rabbit Revolution broadcasts watches Lost, somehow I seriously doubt it, hehe:D

Looking forward to some new images here soon, seems as though I shouldn't have been so "vocal" (er, type-ical? :D ) in my missing of the polar bears.....looks like that's the main image of the site (tho the morse changes), and all the other ones (rabbit head, beaker, heartbeat, gas mask, etc) are changeable).
