i doubt that theyre on friendly terms with their captors, it says that they "must" take their captors to their camp, which probably means that its not their choice to do it

If you go back and watch when Sun is burying the bottle of letters, you will notice that her ring is not on her finger as she gets done putting the dirt over the bottle... dun dun dun...

I think that Sun will find her ring but I doubt that Micheal will find Walt.

Sun may find her ring, but not before Jin returns and gets pissy when he sees she's not wearing it.

My guess is she'll enlist the help of another lostie, like Claire and/or (shoot, I can't believe I forgot who the other woman was who brought the bottle to Sun with Claire, but her), and will be discussing things, then go dig up the bottle and they'll get mad at her too. That or she'll struggle with the whole thing on her own. ;)
