People in tail-end of plane are alive!

Remember when that African American woman (i cannot remember her name!) was talking with Jack in Season One about having a funeral ceremony for those dead in the crash, and ..

she says something like "My husband is not dead, doctor."

JACK: "Everyone that was in the tail-end of the plane is gone. Your husband was in the bathroom".

HER: "They are probably thinking the same thing about us".

What if the "others" (the "dead" people) are on another island, like it broke off and landed somewhere else?? Or what if they are in another dimension on the same island? Danielle could be haunted by those that died in the Black Rock incident, referring to them as the "others". Walt could now be an "other", i think he was drowned so he could be in that spirit form or something. A lot of people don't think that they could kill Walt because they would want to use his special powers, but if they wanted to utilize his powers, killing him would be exactly what they wanted to do.

I don't think so, cause didn't the producer say that there would be no ghosts or aliens or anything like that? I figure he has some virus from the others. That is why the hatch said quarantine on the inside I figure. I think that Desmond's computer controls the 'Guardians' or whatever is making the noise on the island, as well as the voices in the forests.

When boone called for help on the radio in the drug plane just before the plane fell you can hear someone answer. " we are survivors from the oceanic flight 815 too" now that tells me there are others still alive!

They may be alive, one way or another. That gir from "fast and the forious" that was talking to jack before the plane took off, ana-maria or something like that. Isnt she supposed to join the cast this season? I recall that se was seated in the back on the plane.

Yes, at some point this season, they will run into Ana Lucia and any other tail survivors (if there are any). She will probably have an epi dealing with what she's gone through in the same 48 days.

BTW--the lady's name is Rose. Her husband Bernard was in the tail section.

If we think about the position of the plane pieces on the island, logically there is no way the tail section should be on the island. The Nose was inland and the center section was on the beach, there fore the tail should have landed in the ocean, then the center section on the beach and then the nose inland. It will be interest to see how they place the tail section on the island. Or if the survivors simply swam ashore

But, according to my memory, the tail broke off, then the cock pit, so if they fell in that order, the tail could be on the other side of the island. (I think it was Kate who was telling about what broke off when in one of the Pilot episodes."

I believe the plane had turned around and was therefore headed back towards Sydney, in a southwesterly direction. If you take the current survivors as being on the southwestern shore of the island (as I've seen from some maps people have created), then if the tail section came off first, it could have landed on the northeastern part of the island. The nose section could have come off second and fallen in the middle of the island, with the middle section continuing forward on its own for a bit, given that it had wings and the engines still running. With the tail and mid section on opposite ends of the island and no full island exploring happnening yet, they would not have met up. Also, I believe the raft was heading north/northeast and if you believe S2E2 spoilers, then... it all fits. ;-)

the pilot survived in the front of the plane, almost 50 survived in the fuseloge, I'm sure someone survived in the back of the plane.
