I liked it alot.
But one thing I felt from the get go is this season has a whole different feel to it then last year.
Opening scene was great. Reminded me of American Psycho.
Rest of the episode was well done also.
I found that the episode moved alot quicker than the ones in the first season. I like it.

My heart was pounding! The last time a show ever did that was Stargate SG-1's season 5 finale "Full Circle."

I liked it. I'll definitely have to watch it again, but it was great the first time through; they really built every scene up perfectly, and well, I really enjoyed it.

It was awesome! Course, I would think that even if it wasn't as good as this was. It felt quite different though, from other episodes. I didn't think that the flashbacks added anything at all to the story. And, wow, no episode has ever seemed to go so fast. I am so excited to see where this season is going to take us.

I definitely agree. Just from the beginning, it all seems a lot weirder, creepier, darker. Love it. :D

im kind of disappointed, but he said it takes 3 episodes, so ill give it 2 more..
seems too much stuff going on, idk, im indecisive right now
It was fantastic! Even though I was disappointed in not seeing any of the raft people, it was still a good episode. An extremely entertaining episode. It's great that it's a new TV season!

Easily one of the best television moments in history. Tastefully done, revealing, yet not too revealing. I was freaking out because there were tornado warnings around me and I thought I was going to miss it for severe weather coverage. Good thing they routed it to an alternate channel. Anyway, that episode was fantastic in general and will be a hard season premiere for future shows to beat.

I liked it a lot, wish the show was 2 hours. 1 hour goes by way too fast

Yeah the opening scene is similar to American Psycho. Great scene to open the episode with.

Parts of it I disliked massively, other parts I completely loved. The beginning = AWESOME! I had my hand over my mouth in shock at least 10 times during the episode, and the WHOLE time Jack had his gun pointed at Locke who had a gun pointed at him by Desmond...OMG
Yeah, I liked it, I just wanna get back into the normalcy of seeing Lost new every Wednesday XD

I thought that it was pretty good, not as suspensful as I would have liked, maybe if it was Shannon that went down the hatch I would be a little more worried, but I know they won't kill off Kate. It was really fast, almost too fast for me.

I didn't like it too much. I was so glad we finally found wtf is in that damn hatch! Finally! :thud:
But imo, I am kind of dissapoined that they didn't show the rafters (well, except for walt who was in Shannon's hallucination). And there was way too much Jack/Jate. *hides from ELCBians/Jaters*

The flashbacks added two key pieces to the puzzle: Jack didn't save his wife through surgery (a 'miracle' happened, like with Locke), and Jack had met Desmond previously and Desmond was associated with the miracle.
I think it's likely that Desmund will eventually appear in other characters' flashbacks as well.

I thought it was great. We finally get into the hatch and this Desmond character is intriguing. I'm very curious to see how things develop from here.
