In Jacks flashback, the man who was driving the SUV that caused the accident was named Mr. Rutherford. Thats Shannons dad!

Yes! I was looking for this! I didn't hear the name.. rutherford but my friend did. So Jack's wife killed Shannon's dad/ Jack didn't save her father.. instead he saved Sarah so it was twice that he 'killed' one of her family members.

I think he dies very soon after being brought into the ER. It's that first scene when Sara is also brought into the ER. It's hard to hear it because it's the background characters that say it.

I found that rather interesting about how the connection came about with Mr. Rutherford and Sarah. Whoa...I just thought of something weird. Okay, Sarah was first brought up in the episode where Boone died, and now the second episode she is brought up is when we see Mr. Rutherford die. WEIRD.

Anyways, I think that the numbers add up, since as a rabid Shannon/Shoone/Boone fan, I'm almost positive that no one said anything about when Shannon's dad died. The only ages were the ones about how old they are now and how old they were when they became step-siblings. So that would make Shannon 18 when her dad died and Boone 20.

This definitely makes me more and more excited for the upcoming Shannon ep. ^_^
