Episode Flashback

I'm pretty sure that the flashbacks in the first episode of season 2 are going to be from Jack. On this site, IMDB (very reliable), it says that Julie Bowen, will play Sarah, (Jack's wife) as a guest actress. They will put more actors and the characters they play on the site. At least we now know about which character the episode will be focused on.

Thanks! It could be true but it could also be Locke as well... because its called Man of Science and Man of Faith! I liked Exodus because there were multi flashbacks! I really really liked it!

I agree.. the multi flash backs were pretty awesome... and I, too, think that this ep will be about both Jack and Locke.. But what if, perhaps, at one time (prior to losing Sarah however he did) Jack was a man of science AND a man of faith.. and whatever happened to Sarah made him lose his faith.. just a litte thought i had.. probably wouldnt make much of a difference either way...

That is a cool theory. Like, maybe Jack thought (or tried to think) that meeting and marrying Sarah was his destiny. Then when he lost her, he threw out his beliefs on destiny like yesterday's paper.

Hate to break it to you - but imdb is terrible. Not reliable at all. that's the same site that said Samuel L Jackson was going to play Bernard (Rose's husband) and tina Wesson (survivor 2 winner) was going to play Alex - French woman's daughter. That said - I did read an article in nydailynews.com where Julie Bowen did say she was off to Hawaii to film Losy episode, and they did just start shooting, so I figure it's early in the season. But don't believe what you see on imdb.

My thoughts on it: I don't mind if it's either Jack's or Locke's episode, I just wouldn't want to see both major characters having to share an episode :confused:

oh, I love Claire AND Emilie de Ravin. It'd be a dream if they somehow weaved her into the flashbacks in the first eppy of season 2. I think they should have a spin-off show with Claire, Charlie, and Aaron after they get off the bloody island in 160 days. Go ahead, ask me where I got that number, ask me, I dare ya!

IMDB is unreliable; however, I read the article about Julie Bowen on a magazine site. She was interviewed and she was going to be in Hawaii for the beginning of taping which started July 28. That tells me that the first episode is about Jack and revisits his marriage.

I guess it'll be combination. Episode's name is not simple and has connection with last Jack/Locke conversation in Exodus.

people are always givin' IMDB a hard time. don't rely on it for spoilers and such. i just go there to find out the actor's name and see some more pictures and a filmography. but don't use it to find secrets about the show...it's just unnecessary.

Jack and Locke FB's are my favorite, but i would rather them each have their own episode. So they can go more into detail, and explain more about them.

Truth on the Kate thing. I'm not a big fan of her ep's, and is it just me or do they explained little to nothing important. Wait I'm getting ahead of myself. There is probably much more in them that I'm just not seeing yet, Lost tends to do that.

no, man. i said that very same thing in another thread. i dont think they mean anything. hopefully they'll expand on the whole 23 thing.

oh yeah, and i know why they focus on her so much. Jack was supposed to die early on and Kate was supposed to emerge as a leader so they think shes important still, that's why.

I also hope it is not a Jack flash back. I'pretty sure it's Locke but I also agree with Aaron the Baby that Hurley should get more flashbacks, I mean, he is the guy with the numbers, not Jack.

what if its one of those episodes where Jack and Locke are somehow connected, i read that the characters will be somehow connection. Maybe Jack was the one who operated on Jack and his father during their kidney switcharoo.

Maybe we might be seeing a Flash back involving Jack and his DAD..
Remember when jack went looking for his dad at the hotel room.
If you check out the pic (link below) in his room someone had been smoking, and there looks like there are two glasses there..

In Christian Sheherd's room there are 4 dirty glasses and a pack of cigarettes. The maid has said that Christian has not slept in his bed for 3 days but she would have still cleaned the room so....Christian was back there sometime between her last cleaning and when Jack arrived. We've never seen Christian smoking but it doesn't mean he doesn't there is a broken cigarette among his bottle of pills on his dresser. Who was sharing a drink with Christian?

Locke had a geiger counter in his room in Wlakabout. It is on the table when we see a wide shot of his room there is a toaster on a table in front of that is the gieger counter. There is also no wheelchair visable in the room. There seems to be a rigle case up against the wall. What's Locke got a gieger counter for?

Could it have been Sawyer maybe that was smoking in the room with him, or maybe it could have been Locke..

Oh well hopefully we get to find out what really went on..

the first season accounts for 40 days on the island. the creators say they would like to do a show that last 5 seasons. take 40 X 5 and you get 200. but we've already had one season so take 200 - 40 and voila...160 days tentatively left on the island.

we saw Christian talking to Sawyer in the bar and later, Sawyer tells Jack about the whole situation. as he was talking not only did I of course know he was telling the truth but he sounded as if he wanted this to be one thing he didn't lie about at all. i think Sawyer would have told Jack if he had seen him anywhere else other than the bar. but i'm not totally disagreeing with your idea, it's still very possible.

Sawyer left Christian in the bar. He told Jack that he had to get going but something told him the guy didn't make that call (to Jack to tell him he loved him). So, Christian was still in the bar when Sawyer left.

You know, the suggestion that Locke was with him made me think of something. Could Locke's paralysis have been a spinal injury? Can you have a spinal injury and just be paralyzed waist down or is it always neck down?

i was under the impression that they would definately be showing flashbacks this season - havent they repeatedly said that the series will focus on the same characters as last season?

Whose ever flashback this is, Locke or Jack, I just hope the flashbacks reveals something huge. It could show how Locke got in the wheelchair, how Jack got divorced, how Locke and Jack are connected, or how the plane went down(very doubtful on this last one).
