Episode names!!!!

Okay, so I'm an Oceanic_Airlines site subscriber, and I just got an email talking about what's been going on for the month of July. But what most intrigued me is the titles of the first three episodes, as follows:

Episode One:
"Man of Science, Man of Faith" written by Damon Lindelof

Episode Two:
"Adrift" written by Steven Maeda & Leonard Dick

Episode Three:
"Orientation" written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach & Craig Wright

Do you think they will continue with flashbacks the next season? If so, which characters do you think these episodes will belong to?

I'd assume "Adrift" would refer to the raftaways.

I mean, I would ASSUME that would be what it was.


And Orientation sounds like it could be about Walt...or possibly the rafaways and their "orientation" into another group of survivors...but since the first three shows are only 2 hours each on the island, I don't think that's likely

This episode will probably deal more will the stranded raftaways then with the islanders. It will probably show the raftaways coming up with ways to get back and i think the flashbacks will deal with Micheal because he just lost Walt.

I was hoping they would be back on land before ep 2...But I think you're right about the backstory being Michael. Than would make sense.

What if they do 2 people flashbacks for the first couple epi's? It makes sense because of the title of the first one--you know, make it a Jack and Locke epi, and then in two, make it a Michael/Jin or something--just a thought. : )

This has to be coming up toward the middle/end of this season. I think they'll finally find where The Others reside, eve if its at sea, and the Island folk will battle it out to save Walt. Maybe this is where the cast loses its female member.

The female is supposedly dying in October. That's pretty early in the season. Just so you know.

I have no idea what Verday means, actually. I saw it on a box somewhere one time, and I liked the sound of it. It may be a city or something, for all I know. *shrugs* :D

And, yes, that spoiler was on Spoilerfix the last time I checked.

Verday sounds like it came from Latin/Spanish for 'true' or 'truth'. Verdad is truth in Spanish. It could also mean 'green' which in Spanish is verde.

Adrift definitely sounds like a Michael episode. I agree, possible first episode would be a multi-person flashback like the pilot and Exodus. I think this thread was from a common Season Two thread so that's probably why the first post talks about the first three episodes and why other posts on this thread are talking about the other two.

But we have less than 6 1/2 weeks to find out about the first and 7 1/2 weeks to find out about Adrift!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

Hmm. I'm thinking this episode will be centered on the raft's fate. And so going with that, I think it'll be either Jin, Michael, or Sawyer. Hopefully Sawyer's. :D

Anitab right, this thread was made like 2 seconds after the island insider newsletter came out. There was no where else to put this info than one of the episode categories. I think we need a general season 2 thread to talk on.

The whole Verday thing, it could be Verde (spanish for green) which may have an accent. I can't think of any french words that sound or look like that. I'm going back into my secret shoebox again to lurk.
