2 x 01 Episode Title "Genesis" or "Post Explosion"

I think they counted the last three episodes of Exodus as 24, 25, and 26.

Maybe they count the "The Journey" Epsiode too (this special with clips).

The title "Post Explosion" would make sense...

Yeh "Exodus" has been counted as three episodes which technically it was, and TV.com has also counted Lost: The Journey special as an episode, which in my opinion it isn't. So according to that site the episode count for Season One was 26, making 27 the first of Season Two.

With regards to the title "Genesis" was a title that was rumoured ages ago along with all the FALSE information about Samuel L Jackson. "Post Explosion" is a working title that sounds more like a description than an actual title.

The point is, neither title has yet been confirmed and in all likelyhood it'll be something quite different when it actually is announced.

I read the same thing -- "Post Explosion" was the first episode of Season 2 -- somewhere else about a month back. I know it was in an article discussing the new season. I thnk the title Genesis came off the cover of that new official Lost magazine where the creators talk about how the show was created -- ie, its "genesis". In big letters, it says "Genesis" on the cover and I think some people assumed it was the Season two first episode title (this is on the official ABC site). Once that rumor about Genesis got going, it took on a life of its own.

Guess we'll know for sure pretty soon. *shrug* Spoilerfix is obviously not convinced yet, as they are still going with "Title Unknown".

BTW, TV.com is a reincarnation of TVTome.com and most of the info comes from contributed sources, just like imdb.com. The info goes up until it's proven wrong most times.

I hate the new Tvtome! I loved the old one! It was my favorite site. This one is so much more annoying! Yea...i was about to come and Post about the title here when i found this thread! Kind of ironic. It doesn't matter though as long as the info gets put up!

I liked TVTome much better than TV.com, too. :D I used to handle one of the guides for a HGTV show & artist at TVTome (I didn't renew it at TV.com). The update process was definitely hit and miss. When it became TV.com, they deleted all the photos I had uploaded, many of which are no longer available. Sometimes people would submit info I knew was dead wrong and they'd post it anyway. Other times, the show's own host would submit information and they'd reject it. It was really bizarre. :p

In spite of the update process glitches, I still like TVTome much better than TV.com. :D

ebs--Aren't people sometimes just crazy? People need to check sources and if they were posting wrong info--it just shows they (the website PTB) have no credibility and don't care to.

On the note of the Exodus--it was 23, 24 according to abc.com and 23, 24, 25 according to imdb.com. I think I would go with abc.com. So epi 1 for season 2 should be #25. Lost: The Journey was only bits and pieces of previous epi's to get newbies (like me) up to speed--it shouldn't be considered a separate epi IMHO.

ahh....i know that Post Explosion will about when the raft was blown up the others, i mean of course. it'll be a episode about trying to get back to land perhaps. Genesis can be the after. Oh and well...cannot think of anything with Micheal right now since his son was taken away from him, just seeing him yell out, and then he will start to sulk.

Hmm. I'm suprised they'd name an episode Post Explosion. I'm sure they could've thought of something more creative. Not that it really makes a difference to me...

Genesis would be more in line with the other episode titles. We've already had two Old Testament book titles - Numbers and Exodus. I'd never heard about that magazine cover before. I thought Genesis was a good name. Another Lost-related disappointment...

I read on a Lost forum, actually I think it was this forum, that the title would be "Fixing a hole", same with the Beatles song, focusing on Locke. I think it might have been proven false. I am not really that crazy about the title...
